Step 7 - Final Step When the contract is signed and you have everything you need, you will be able to welcome your Guardian dog to your home. We want our guardian dog to be part of your family but for the life of the contract, there will be some restrictions and recommendations we ask you to adhere to. Restrictions Breeding Once your puppy is over 1 year old and has had her second season, she will be matched with a suitable boy and you will be required to take her to one of our partner vets for a pre-mating check and then also take her to Rockley Valley Park for mating usually days before she is ready to come back she will live with you for the next 7 weeks and will need to be back at Rockley Valley 10 days before her due date. She will stay with her puppies till they are 7 weeks old, where she will have a health check and be ready to be picked up again.
