People love the hypoallergenic coats of Saint Berdoodles, which are usually low-shedding or non-shedding. Saint Berdoodles have wonderful temperaments and are usually great with kids. Saint Berdoodles have hybrid vigor, which results from crossing two purebred dogs. Hybrid vigor typically results in a healthier offspring, and Saint Berdoodles have a much longer life expectancy than a purebred Saint Bernard. Purebred St Bernards usually live years; whereas Saint Berdoodles are usually expected to live years. Anyone who has owned and loved a Saint Bernard might wonder why anyone would get a Saint Berdoodle instead. There's a seven-fold answer for why Saint Berdoodles win the battle for many families. St Bernard vs St Berdoodle Hypoallergenic: St Berdoodles usually have low-to-non shedding coats like poodles and are typically far better for people with allergies than a purebred Saint Bernard, which sheds its coat. Health: Hybrid vigor typically improves a dog's health. There's a reason that humans don't marry our relatives. Saint Berdoodles tend to have fewer health issues than a pure Saint Bernard. Intelligence: Poodles consistently rank as one of the top if not THE top breeds for intelligence. Saint Berdoodles are very quick learners. Trainability: Usually the St Berdoodle's increased intelligence makes them an easy dog to train. Saint Berdoodles love pleasing their owner. Walking Partner: Although Saint Berdoodles are one of the lowest energy doodles, they tend to be more active than a somewhat lethargic purebred Saint Bernard who usually prefers to lounge all day. Although a Saint Berdoodle will not be an active runner like a Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Aussiedoodle, or Springerdoodle, you can usually take a Saint Berdoodle for a long walk--more so than a purebred Saint Bernard. Nathan Crockett was one of the first breeders to raise top quality Saint Berdoodles. We have people from all over the U. Saint Berdoodle Pricing. Berdoodles and Newfa Doodles. Although a mixed-breed dog can take on any combination of traits from one or both of their parent breeds, well-socialized Saint Berdoodles tend to be affectionate and loving dogs with sweet natures and social personalities. This designer dog breed may not be recognized by the American Kennel Club, but they are still recognized by other notable dog organizations. The Saint Berdoodle is a gentle giant that makes a great addition to any family. Well-socialized, they tend to be social and friendly with charming, cheerful personalities. They also tend to be affectionate, loving, and highly intelligent dogs. These dogs can be good watchdogs as they are initially wary of strangers and will alert you when someone is on the property. Although Saint Berdoodles do tend to have a protective instinct over their family and territory, they tend to be quite social and friendly and do not tend to be aggressive provided they have been properly socialized and trained. Saint Berdoodles are moderately adaptable dogs. Due to their sheer size, they are better suited to larger homes with yards where they can run and roam freely. They could potentially adapt to apartment living if they are given enough exercise, attention, and mental stimulation, but their size will definitely be a challenge in smaller spaces. This dog adapts well to most moderate climates. As a large, fluffy dog, they are also sensitive to heat and can easily overheat. Because a Saint Berdoodle craves attention, bonds closely with their family, and loves being with them, they do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. A crossbred dog can inherit the potential health concerns common to one, both, or neither of the parent breeds. Good breeding practices make a big difference in the health of Saint Berdoodle puppies. Reputable breeders will screen their dogs to ensure that they are not passing preventable issues to puppies. Make sure you ask the breeder about the genetic history of both of the parents. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done. As a large dog, the Saint Berdoodle is also at a higher risk of bloat just like both parent breeds. Bloat in dogs can become dangerous quickly and is fatal if the stomach flips. Although the Saint Berdoodle will grow to be a giant dog, they tend to be gentle and highly trainable. Their high intelligence and eagerness to please means they pick up on things quickly and are relatively easy to train. This makes them a good fit for owners of all experience levels. They respond best to positive training methods that are calm and consistent and focused on reward and praise. Puppy training classes are always an option and can be a good opportunity to socialize a puppy, which is even more important in a dog this size. The maintenance your Saint Berdoodle requires will depend completely on the coat they inherit. But, they will require daily brushing and professional grooming every weeks. Once or twice monthly nail trimming is usually enough to keep them from growing too long and causing issues. You can also support your efforts to prevent dental diseases later in life with dental hygiene chews and treats approved by your vet. Saint Berdoodles tend to have a moderate energy level. They will be energetic while playing and require some exercise, but they will be happy to be a couch potato every now and then. Daily walks plus some time to play are usually enough for this big dog. They may not be a good fit for a running partner, but your Saint Berdoodle may enjoy going on hikes with you, taking trips to the dog park, or even going swimming. Just make sure you keep activities low impact until their bones and joints finish growing and developing. A fully-grown Saint Berdoodle usually stands inches tall at the shoulder and weighs pounds. They are one of the largest dog breeds. Saint Berdoodles generally live for years on average. This designer dog breed is most commonly known as a Saint Berdoodle, but they are also sometimes called a Saint Berpoo. Featured Saint Berdoodle Article.

Breeds The link has been copied! Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world and for a good reason. They make wonderful family pets due to their friendly personalities, endless loyalty, and high intelligence. However, before bringing one into your home, it is essential to consider the costs associated with owning a Golden Retriever. In this article, we'll explore the question, "How much does a Golden Retriever cost? The overall price of a Golden Retriever can vary widely depending on a number of factors, such as the dog's age, lineage, and location. However, it is crucial to keep in mind that buying a puppy is just the beginning of the expenses associated with owning a Golden Retriever. In addition to the initial price, routine vet visits and vaccinations are necessary to keep your Golden Retriever healthy and prevent illnesses. These costs can add up quickly, especially in the first year of your dog's life when they require more frequent check-ups and vaccines. Your dog will typically require annual check-ups and routine vaccinations throughout their life. You can also choose to microchip your pet for additional security measures. Another ongoing expense associated with owning a Golden Retriever is grooming. While Golden Retrievers are relatively low-maintenance when it comes to grooming compared to some other breeds, they do require regular brushing and occasional baths. So, you will need to set aside adequate funds for this care. A Golden Retriever puppy cost can vary. The overall price will depend on whether you choose to purchase from a breeder or adopt from a rescue organization. However, it is essential to note that some breeders will charge more for puppies that have exceptional bloodlines or rare coat colors. If you choose to adopt a Golden Retriever puppy from a rescue organization, the adoption fee is usually much lower than the purchase price from a breeder. It is important to note that adoption fees will usually cover the cost of veterinary care, food, and shelter for the puppy while in the rescue organization's care. Often if you choose to adopt from a rescue or dog shelter, the pet will come into your family already spayed or neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Color One of the most significant factors is the color of the puppy. Golden Retrievers typically come in shades of gold, but some may have a slightly darker or lighter coat, which can create variations in their price. For instance, puppies with lighter-colored coats may be more expensive than those with darker coats. Bloodline Puppies with a pedigree from a well-known champion bloodline are often more expensive than those without a proven lineage. This cost difference is because they are likely to have a superior appearance, temperament, and overall health characteristics. Often dogs from such lineage come with documentation and official paperwork to verify their background. A quality breeder who has invested time and resources in breeding and raising quality Golden Retrievers may charge a higher price for their puppies. This reason is that they are more likely to provide you with a healthy and well-socialized puppy. Estimated Size Finally, the estimated size of the puppy can impact the cost. Typically, male Golden Retrievers are larger than females, and puppies from larger litters may be smaller than those from smaller litters. Owing to that, puppies from a smaller litter may be more expensive as they tend to be in higher demand. Overall, it is essential to consider all of these factors when looking to purchase a Golden Retriever to ensure that you get the best value for your money. As we've discussed, the cost of purchasing and maintaining a Golden Retriever can quickly add up. However, investing in a GPS-tracking dog collar is one way to protect your investment in your furry friend. A GPS-tracking dog collar can help make sure that your Golden Retriever doesn't wander too far from home or get lost. This feature is especially important if you live in an area with a lot of traffic or wildlife, where your dog could be at risk of injury or getting into dangerous situations. A GPS tracking dog collar can help you quickly locate your dog if they do manage to escape, allowing you to bring them home safely and quickly. No doubt a GPS-tracking dog collar is an additional expense, but it can provide peace of mind and protection for your furry friend, making it a worthwhile investment for any Golden Retriever owner. It can give you the confidence to let your dog explore and play freely while still being able to keep an eye on their location and well-being. Incorporating the Fi GPS Tracking Dog Collar into your Golden Retriever's routine can help ensure their safety and security while enjoying all the joys of owning this beloved breed. The collar has a long battery life and is water-resistant, making it durable enough to withstand daily wear and tear. The collar also offers activity tracking, which can help you monitor your dog's exercise habits and ensure they are getting enough physical activity to stay healthy. Golden Retriever Breed Guide The Golden Retriever is a popular breed known for being friendly and having an affectionate personality. They are intelligent, eager to please, and have a gentle nature, making them excellent family pets. They are typically very patient with children and get along well with other animals, making them an ideal companion for families with kids or other pets. Golden Retrievers are considered to be a medium to large breed in terms of size and weight. Males typically weigh between 65 and 75 pounds and stand in inches between 23 to .Alternatively, females weigh between 55 pounds to 65 pounds and stand in inches between .Golden Retrievers have an average lifespan of 10 to 12 years, but with proper care, they can live up to 14 years. Golden Retrievers are an active breed. They frequently require multiple sessions of daily exercise to stay in peak shape. They enjoy many types of outdoor activities, including swimming, fetch, and hiking. These dogs make great companions for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. However, they can also adopt a more laid-back lifestyle if they don't receive regular exercise. The lifetime care costs of a Golden Retriever will often depend on factors such as their health, age, and lifestyle. Budgeting for these costs and planning accordingly to ensure that your furry friend receives the care they need throughout their lifetime is essential. There are several ways to reduce the cost of owning a Golden Retriever. One option is to adopt a dog from a local animal shelter or rescue organization. Adopting a dog can be significantly less expensive than buying a puppy from a breeder, and it also helps to reduce the number of dogs in shelters. Another way to save money is to consider adopting an older dog instead of a puppy. Older dogs may have already gone through the training process, which can save on the cost of obedience classes and training supplies. They may also be less demanding in terms of exercise and may already be house-trained, which can save on cleaning and flooring expenses. When buying a Golden Retriever puppy, it's crucial to find a breeder who will always prioritize the health and life quality of their dogs. A breeder should be able to provide you with health guarantees, documentation of the puppy's lineage, and proof of vaccinations and other necessary medical treatments. Moreover, it's also a good idea to visit the breeder's facility and meet the puppy's parents, if possible, to get a sense of the breeding environment and the temperament of the puppies. While it may be tempting to choose the cheapest option when buying a Golden Retriever, doing so can lead to additional expenses down the line if the puppy develops health problems that require expensive medical treatment. A reputable breeder may have higher upfront costs but is more likely to produce healthy puppies with fewer genetic health issues. This initial extra cost can ultimately save you money and heartache in the long run. By taking the time to research breeders and consider all options carefully, you can save on the initial cost of owning a Golden Retriever while still providing a loving home for a furry companion. Conclusion: The Cost of Owning a Golden Retriever In conclusion, owning a Golden Retriever can be a fulfilling experience, but it is crucial to consider the upfront and ongoing costs that are commonly associated with owning one. By understanding the factors that impact the price tag of a Golden Retriever and exploring ways to reduce those costs, you can ensure that you are providing the best care for your furry friend without breaking the bank. Lastly, you will want to consider how to protect your newest family member and the investment that comes with them. You can get pet insurance to help cover the cost of these vet expenses. A good breeder will provide you with not only a healthy, well-socialized puppy but also support and guidance as you navigate life with your new furry friend. But with so many breeders out there, how do you know who to choose? Look for a breeder who is registered with the American Kennel Club AKC or other reputable organizations and who has experience breeding golden retrievers. A reputable breeder will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the breed and will provide you with references from past clients. A good breeder will provide support and guidance as you adjust to life with your new pet. They should be available to answer questions, offer training advice, and help you navigate any challenges that arise. Look for a Breeder with Experience Experience matters when it comes to breeding golden retrievers. A breeder with years of experience will have a wealth of knowledge about the breed and will be able to provide you with valuable insights and advice. This includes information about any genetic diseases or health issues that may be present in the bloodline. By choosing a breeder who prioritizes health and genetics, you can help ensure that your new puppy is healthy and happy. Some breeders may insist that you participate in these events if you want to purchase a puppy from them, but this is not a requirement. Choose a breeder who respects your lifestyle and preferences and who is primarily concerned with finding a good home for their puppies. The right Golden Retriever breeder depends on you as a person, but any good breeder should be able to answer any questions. You may come across the perfect puppy online, but do not commit to any dog until you can visit in person. The dog may be totally different than in their photo. In some cases, you may find that the dog does not exist. Some scammers can take photos of other dogs and collect payment for the dog. But the scammer will disappear before the buyer realizes the dog is not theirs. To avoid these puppy sales scams, always visit the dog in person before you sign a contract or make a payment. Make sure the dog looks like the pictures and that they have the temperament that you want. If you are working with a breeder, be sure to check their credentials and ask for references. You can speak to other dog owners who have gone through the breeder. Finally, do not rush into getting a dog. Conclusion While Golden Retrievers can be moderately expensive to keep over the ten to twelve years that they generally live, there are many ways that people can reduce the cost of keeping them. One of the best ways to save money while raising a Golden Retriever is to get quality pet insurance. As long as their owners are prepared to offer them financial security in the form of good food, a few well-loved toys, and some regular veterinary care, Goldens repay the devotion a hundredfold in terms of loyalty and affection for their families. One or both of this puppy's parents are hip certified. One or both of this puppy's parents is OFA Heart certified. This puppy has had early neurological stimulation exercises. It is also important to understand there are different types of golden retrievers which may affect pricing. For example, if you decide to choose the lowest golden retriever cost option, those puppies almost never have the necessary 3rd-party assurances or veterinarian procedures like dewormings, vaccinations, health-tested parents, or a thorough health checkup. These missing costs and services will be your responsibility, making the total cost ultimately the same. Not to mention the added stress on you these extra expenses and issues create! Adopting vs. Please note that depending on the shelter, you may have to pay additional costs for your Golden certain shots and procedures. Depending on if the golden retriever is a boy or a girl may affect the price as well. Some male vs female golden retriever differences may make you prefer one over the other. This will ultimately save you time and money on your golden retriever price because breeders often pay lower veterinary rates than individuals do. Distemper, for example, is a highly contagious disease that attacks the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and nervous systems of dogs. Unfortunately, there is no cure — just a lot of expenses and stress which really adds to the overall cost of your Golden Retriever puppy. It is wise to ask your vet for guidance on this decision. Talk with your vet about the procedure, when you should get it done, and how much it might cost. Dental Care for Your Golden Retriever Golden Retrievers, like many dogs, can be prone to dental issues such as plaque buildup, gum disease, and tooth decay. These cleanings typically involve scaling, polishing, and potentially extractions if necessary. Some insurance providers offer optional dental coverage as an add-on or as part of more comprehensive plans. If dental coverage is included in the policy, it typically covers a portion of the costs associated with dental cleanings, extractions, and other necessary dental treatments. This typically includes services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and sometimes additional services like de-shedding or dematting. Some groomers may offer package deals or discounts for regular appointments or bundled services. This monthly expense may seem like an additional cost, but it can be a worthwhile investment when considering the potential savings on veterinary bills for treatments, surgeries, and medications. By having pet insurance in place, you can ensure that your Golden Retriever receives the necessary care without straining your finances in the event of unexpected health issues. Puppy Training and Socialization Classes Attending puppy training and socialization classes is highly recommended for the comprehensive development of your Golden puppy. These classes provide structured learning environments, social interaction, and essential obedience training. By enrolling your Golden Retriever puppy in these classes, you ensure they receive the necessary foundation for good behavior, social skills, and overall well-being. The cost for food will depend on the size, age, and activity level of your companion. Fortunately, the cheaper brands of dog food can be just as good as the more premium brands as long as they meet the standards of AAFCO and are made with minimal processing. When making your decision, make sure to avoid artificial ingredients and preservatives where you can, since they could cause health problems for your dog.

With their signature bat ears and expressive eyes, French Bulldogs, or "Frenchies" as they are lovingly known, have captured the hearts of many dog lovers around the globe, consistently ranking among the most popular breeds. Renowned for their easy maintenance and the ability to thrive in apartment living, French Bulldogs are a city dweller's delight. Their small size, typically weighing under 28 pounds, makes them perfectly suited to compact urban spaces. However, their charming personalities and heartwarming companionship are universally loved, irrespective of city or countryside living. This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house. French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. They have a smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors, from fawn and brindle to white and grey. Their facial expressions are human-like, and they're known to "talk" using a complex system of yawns, yips, and gargles. However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic short-nosed nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures. Despite their muscular appearance, they are not the best swimmers, and care should be taken around bodies of water. Questions about French Bulldog puppies for sale in Wisconsin? We have answers. How does French Bulldog puppies for sale in Wisconsin work? Ever wondered why Frenchies seem to have such high prices? Well, it's simply because of their bones! At the Guisachan House, the home of Lord Tweedmouth, in the ruggedly beautiful county of Inverness in the north Scottish highlands, it was here the first Yellow Retrievers were bred and raised. Lord Tweedmouth carefully worked out a plan to make a yellow retriever breed. Lord Tweedmouth gave many puppies he bred to friends, others were put out with keepers and bred from, so that the yellow Retrievers in the hands of gundog men, at that time seldom interested in pedigrees but only in how their dogs worked, would have been crossed with black Retrievers or with Setters, without compunction. They must have passed their hip and elbow exams by OFA or OVC if from Canada and must have a heart clearance from a veterinary cardiologist, as well as a yearly eye exam from a veterinary opthamologist, stating they are eligible to receive CERF certification. This gives us additional information to help us make wise breeding decisions, always striving to improve the future of our Goldens. Because of our commitment to the breed and complexities of breeding, it is our strict policy to sell all puppies on AKC Limited Registration Status only, unless I am dealing with breeders already known to me. We are located in New Durham, New Hampshire. We have been in business for 11 years. Because of our love for American Bulldogs, we want to breed great companions and provide them a forever home. However, most are a hybrid mix between the two bloodlines. We do this in order to bring out the best in both. We also enjoy the many different shapes, sizes and colors this breed comes in. We have established a fourth generation Morrison's American Bulldog bloodline, with no future plans to retire. This is a family business and our children regularly express their desire to help grow us in their future. So we hope you enjoy watching us continue to grow and place our efforts towards producing a more happier, healthier lovable dog! Our dogs are raised around other animals and are well-socialized. They are protectors of our family while also trustworthy around our small children. We actually did not consider ourselves "dog people" until after we met her. After we brought Madison home we quickly fell in love with her sweet, smart and loving personality. She was always gentle around our young children and protected them. After we had her for a few years we knew that her bloodline had to be continued to share her love and joy to other families. When we decided to breed her we loved every moment of her pregnancy and delivery. After we announced her litter we met the amazing American Bulldog community and never looked back. Sharing the joy that Madison brought to our family is something we desire to share with other families. We used to not be "dog people" but now we could not picture our lives without them. Being able to breed, meet new people, see the puppies grow and bring joy to families is what keeps us going. Welcome to Morrison's American Bulldogs. Use tab to navigate through the menu items. Butch is available to a pet home. Proudly created with Wix. Aug 3, Share It seems that many countries have their version of a Bulldog. While each has their own unique build and look, they all share common denominators. You can recognize most Bully breeds by their stout bodies and short muzzles. American Bulldogs, in particular, have developed quite a bit over time, branching off into other subgroups. When it comes to breeding for specific purposes, a single breed can take on different markings or body structures. The 5 Types of American Bulldogs 1. Johnson breeding lineage. These dogs were bred during the World War II era. They have a classic underbite and boxy skulls, giving them that distinct Bulldog look. This line is stout and heavy. Because of their broad, muscular bodies and short muzzles, they are often confused with other Bully breeds, such as the English Bulldog. They stand between 23 and 27 inches at the shoulder. They are incredibly protective and pleasing as household companions. Their low activity levels can often lead to laziness and obesity. They are friendly and even considered goofballs. They came into fruition as a cross between the Johnson American Bulldog and southern Bulldogs, like the White English. They are known as the standard or performance type because of their power and strength. This bloodline is much swifter and physically driven than the Johnsons. They are athletically built and have a longer muzzle. They also have long legs, making them tall and lean in stature. They are generally between 22 and 27 inches, at shoulder height. Because they were bred for work, they require a much more stimulating environment. These dogs are often confused with the American Pit Bull Terrier due to their similar body structure and temperament. Rather than sharing the classic underbite, this line has what is referred to as the reverse scissor bite. Scotts are better suited for individuals with active lifestyles. This typically involves being physically destructive with personal property. These physically capable dogs are made to fight and bred solely for this purpose. They are also considered a performance line, but for more sinister purposes. They were developed in the s by Joe Painter and several others. However, they began to thrive and rise in popularity over time, thinning out this defect. These dogs are stocky, responsive, and trainable. They weigh an average of 55 to 75 pounds. So, they are small in stature but bulky all over. While the Old Southern White and the White English are thought of as being the same dog, there are two variants here as well. There are a Bulldog and a Mastiff style , which creates subtle differences in structure that may not be highly noticeable to the untrained eye. These dogs are commonly seen in the South, though they have been fizzling out over time. Even though they may have been a part of modern lines, they should not partake in breeding with current American Bulldogs. The American Bulldog has come quite far from their beginning points. So, creating a mixture could now create muddied bloodlines and undesirable traits. That means that breeders use various lines to interbreed, creating a different result. You can get many different body structures, temperaments, capabilities, and characteristics. The breeder may have a desire to tailor the breed for specific purposes. They could want more of a worker, a companion, a protector, or a watchdog. Breeders can manipulate lines and specify traits exhibited in parents to create ideal specimens for specific roles. Since hybrids are ever-changing , there are no general rules in terms of size or structure. They can take on various characteristics of any of the lines. You can have a Bully-style hybrid or a sleeker, leaner combination, like the standard lines. American Bulldogs have such a rich history with many stories to tell. American Bulldogs have become a competent, structurally striking contribution, adding to the already-impressive Bulldog group. There is so much to love about them, and they have definitely left their mark on American culture. While we do respect the achievements of more dog show oriented fellow breeders offering great praise to some of them , and while Blasco dogs have indeed stood in the winner's circle, such beauty contest victories are not our focus. We are professional breed developers, focused exclusively on hybrid, working type American Bulldogs and Bandogge Mastiffs. It is a scientific fact, outcross breeding breeding dogs together of different breeds , promotes vastly superior dog-health across a broad range of metrics. Our goal is to segregate the superior health, structural, performance and protection characteristics of the more ancient dogs, from the modern dog genome. It can be categorically stated, that all Blasco dogs, whether our American Bulldogs or Bandogges, are suitable for stable family companionship, home defense, and personal protection. Our Bandogges also being registered, pedigreed dogs , are the results of outcross breedings between American Bulldogs, South African Boerboels, English Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Dogue de Bordeaux and other traditional and exotic Mastiff breeds. Sorry if I look a little mean, the sun was in my eyes. Except where otherwise noted, all Blasco dogs can be trained as AKC Canine Good Citizens , while retaining a strong drive towards family protection. Our Bandogges' and American Bulldogs' prey drive is subordinate to their pack drive, motivating protection of the "pack" that's you, your kids and the other animals you've taught the dog to accept. This is a big deal. It is rare that guard dogs and personal protection dogs are also trustworthy family members. Many police dogs and Schutzhund dogs that are "stable" in public on the end of a leash live in professional kennels, not living rooms. Even in hunting American Bulldogs and Bandogges do not typically kill hogs or other large game, much less your cat, chickens, goats or other domestic or livestock animals. They are bred to corral and contain, or to catch and hold a threat; i. Bandogges and other predecessors of American Buldogs were originally developed on medieval European farmyards. With no law enforcement or guns, with ruffians, scoundrels and wild beasts ever present, the Ancient World was dangerous. Children ranged many miles tending flocks, and managing unruly livestock with only their fearsome family farm dogs to protect and assist them. These dogs almost without fail will naturally distinguish between lambs to be protected and predators to be driven off or killed - a distinction clearly not prey driven. Please enjoy the site. Regarding the dogs pictured, some dogs are no longer with us whether having passed on, or been rehomed as adults , and we do own quite a few dogs not pictured on the site as well. Below you'll find the first few photos of our family, and our dogs, to help you get to know both of us better. There's also more pics and useful bits of information in the Dog Profiles and Photos sections. And hey, do you already own a Blasco dog? The first were hunting dogs and the second large herding dogs, who effectively protect sheep and goats. From this description of these herding dogs we quote: The lower jaw is undershot. From it grows two teeth, one on the left, the other on the right, which are only slightly exposed. These dogs have large heads and drooping ears, a strong nape and neck. The tail is thick, the bark sonorous, the jaws large; the color usually is white.I sold several dogs to folks for hog dogs. Judah with his kids. All are over pounds, "kid friendly and mother approved. Kids and American Bulldogs.Daughter Kat and son John with Doc, still a baby at 9-months with a whole lot of growing to do. Look at the peaceful demeanor of this teenage dog, totally trustworthy and gentle with children. All of our dogs develop a similar calm maturity early in life, growing in a calm, loving environment. Treat your dog like a baby bunny for the first months or so, no need to be rough to "raise their aggression. American Bulldog puppies. Our dogs meet human hands and voices at birth. E ach receives extra feedings by bottle from day-one , imprinting them as much on children as on their own mother. That says something about the bond of trust with the mother, and the early socialization these puppies already have when they enter new homes. Abi is special needs and with a unique connection to animals. She called to Mambo when he was less than a week old and still blind. He crawled feet across the floor to her a distant adventure at his age. From that moment on he preferred Abi to his own mother, often refusing to nurse off unless Abi's hand was on him. For the rest of his life, Mambo was inseparable from Abi. Of course, Mambo didn't remain a puppy for long.Mambo grew. Here's John at four hugging Mambo at under a year old. The collar is 24" making his head quite a bit larger. Mambo is over lbs. This profile shot shows Mambo's slightly longer nose. It's an important distinction between straight Johnson or Bully type American Bulldogs and "hybrid type" American Bulldogs. The "hybrid types" still achieve the heavier weights, but gain clear breathing and much better stamina. American Bulldogs like to play.John with Doc at 9-months. At this age, dog, boy and sisters had a blast. The kids would lay on the tile floor holding a leash and Doc would run them around, sliding across the floor. Doc truly loved playing with the kids. Many dogs tolerate kids, but I haven't met a well loved American Bulldog that didn't genuinely enjoy the company of little kids, forming deep and lasting bonds with the children in their families. He can catch a football, crunch up a soup bone or swallow a sock or a toy, so be sure to pick up the laundry and toys! Here the lovely wife Rebecca with Doc having just had his ears and teeth checked. Obviously we use bleach on our counters! Doc is months here, roughly pounds. This breed is not suitable for full-time crating and cages, but do okay in apartments with daily walks. Train them early and they'll be fine. Young Adult Puppies.Mambo, Doc in the rear and Pete on the right, all at or just over lbs. Pete was smallest of the litter and just look at him. He's a pound dog and can leap easily to the roof the roof of my Dodge Durango sitting on 31 inch tires a bit over six feet. Shortest dog in the litter at .Doc is also a regular flying Bulldog, but not the mischief maker Pete is. Pete was our Dennis the Menace, always into stuff, digging holes, pretending he wants to fight, but then when someone turns around snarling, throwing himself dramatically onto his back in surrender, only just teasing them. Pete is just too funny. Doc and Mambo are big fun, but a bit more serious. Not properly socializing these dogs is tantamount to attack training them. Poorly socialized, carelessly trained dogs are a high risk liability LIKELY to bite strangers in an effort to control them by forced herding and attack. To the left, Judah herds me away on Becky's command. However, breeders have transitioned the two breeds into working dogs. Bulloxers are gentle and affectionate hybrid dogs known for their loyalty to their owner and family. However, they reach maturity at a slow pace and may behave like untrained puppies for years. Notes on Mom: I'm crazy about Darkus, just because she's so sweet, and so gentle and child sensitive like my Bella was, but will still go roaring to the front door in the middle of the night if something seems not quite right. Like my Fly, Darkus is also just a fantastic mother to her puppies, with lots of milk, lots of patience, and doesn't become emaciated when she's nursing. This pic of Darkus was taken just the other day, less than 10 days after her puppies quit nursing, and she's already nearly all the way snapped back and tightened up again. That's a very healthy mama trait we really like around here. Dry mouth and no eye leakage whatsoever. Slim and streamlined as a serious running dog, but with hard, rippling muscle as the traditional southern catchdog he is. He's sweet, intelligent, very laid back and mellow, but a solid home protection dog nonetheless. Boogie's attitude with both strange male people, and strange male dogs is if you don't want none, don't start none, let's just be friends. But if you do want some, we call him Bad Boy Boogie for a reason. Boogie will light you up right now - on command, or self-initiated in protection scenarios. He can also do better than a 6' standing jump, move faster than the human eye can follow, and gladly run full out for miles. In that pic below Boogie is crouching, watching a raven eating his dog food that he's crept up on quiet as can be. When it saw him and flew away, Boogie jumped straight up in the air and caught it mid-flight. It's unreal how many ravens this dog has caught in flight, and then the Raven was dog food. Like I said, the quintessential Scott type American Bulldog. About the Litter Generally: The litter is happy, healthy, friendly -- mom being a purebred Johnson type American Bulldog, dad being a purebred Scott type American Bulldog. If you're simply looking for a great pet dog for your family, there's really no reason to favor one over the other. They're all great with kids, well socialized and very laid back and mellow. So while they are Hybrid type purebred American Bulldogs, bred between Scott and Johnson types, most look like straight Scott type American Bulldogs -- longer noses with much better breathing than the Johnson types, good streamlined structure built for speed, and very athletic. Care Intervention: Nope. Nobody required any special aid as infant puppies. Nobody presents any form of special need or health concern. All puppies are highly robust, active, and strong. Differences between these puppies is subtle, the darker colored ones having only very slightly shorter noses than the others, but still clearly very athletic Scott type noses and bodies. High Elevation Lung Capacity: Blasco puppies also all have higher adapted lung capacity than most puppies - making for true athletes, if you wish. We're at over 9, feet in elevation so all of our puppies share this same advantage, being unusually long winded little brutes. It's why Olympians train in Colorado Springs, and our location is way higher into the clouds than Colorado Springs. A proper dog house and some straw are fine if you're wanting a dog that will spend most of its time outside. We hope that's not what you do. The White Dog Question: Understand, while it is true that some only some white breeds of dog, some Dogo Argentinos, some American Bulldogs, most Spitz and other breeds of white dogs do sometimes have difficulty with sun, that is not the case with these dogs, or their parents, or grand parents. All of them have been out in blazing sun for over a month, at over 9, feet, in Colorado that has over days of sun a year, puppies being tested to assure that there are no sun issues. There aren't. They love the sun. No problems whatsoever. All of them male and female will finish out at right around 24" to 27" inches tall at the withers measuring from ground to top of shoulders , with the boys taller and thicker than the girls. However, both mom and dad carry the genes for larger dogs, so it's technically possible you could get a genetic throwback to that and end up with a pound dog -- probably not, but still possible. Regarding life expectancy, assuming good protein uptake, exercise and good general health, 15 years is fairly likely. They are all very sweet, already really love and enjoy kids, and all are very, very smart, making for easy training, and years of deeply bonded relationship. Fact is I always say that we don't breed dog park candidates, and in this case, I'm thinking I actually might have. They really are just unusually sweet and laid back for American Bulldogs that tend to have a bit more edge coming from my yards. Send deposits quick, make appointments, or you may be too late. We commonly give short notice like this to help weed out potentially well meaning buyers who may not have the financial ability to properly care for our dogs later. I figure that if you can get a couple grand up fast to buy a puppy, you can also probably pay for a potential life saving measure later, should the dog tangle with a mountain lion, or swallow a toy Tonka truck or something. As usual you're not going to see photographs of puppies with pink bows stuck to their heads, or snuggled with Teddy bears. The pics are for the sole purpose of showing their excellent structure, balance and active life vitality and these pics do that, so please do not ask for more pics. He's smart, handler focussed, and thoroughly small child socialized. His nose is just a hair shorter than his brother's below. Activity who loves to play. I mean they all love to play, but this guy is just a bit more active and playful than the rest. He'd love an active lifestyle, hiking and whatnot, a dog sport, a job, anything really. He's thoroughly small child socialized, smart, handler focussed, and likes to party. It's not a health issue in the least, just a show dog thing making him worth a little less in the show ring. You don't even see it most of the time. I mean it's at its worst in the first pic, but try finding it in the next three. A mellow girl and also very smart and handler focused. She's just a very flashy girl sure to turn heads and start conversations her whole life, and she also really likes little kids. She's loving. She likes kids. She's very smart and handler focused. And she's the best watchdog of all the girls in the litter. Gentlemen, if you've agreed with someone to get a female, actually wanting a male for a bit more proactive watchdogging, this girl is for you, the good Lord apparently granting you the perfect compromise. Mellow and sweet, but also a stand up girl. As it is, she still looks a lot like her mom, a very dark mahogany brindle, and same extra mellow temperament. And I'm telling you, this girl wants to learn to do tricks for you, a true look-at-me performer. She's smart and really does want to perform. Set up a social media page for her, teach her a new cool trick every week, and she'll soon have more followers than many humans. It's in no way a health issue, just a show dog thing, and you don't generally even see it but in a few positions. Smart like all the others. Handler focused like all the others. But she really, really wants to lay with someone on the couch. If you had another lonely dog, perfect match. If you like sleeping with your dogs, perfect match. If you want a dog to sleep with a child, perfect match. However, where they are all very smart, this girl is the smartest. I mean she was watching tv as if she understood the movie plot when she was 4 weeks old, as all her brothers and sisters just looked around wondering where the wierd noises were coming from. She'd make a simply fantastic therapy or hospice dog with little to no effort, and you could train her for anything. I've caught her watching human conversations closely, clearly trying to pick up on English, and she soon will. She's also the largest of the females with slightly more masculine features, so again, guys, if you were secretly wanting a male, here's a legitimatley good compromise. As far as we know, nobody else does either. Also forget the idea of bringing a Blasco puppy into the cabin of a plane with you as a "comfort pet" or similar. Our puppies are just too big for that. You shouldn't either. It's an airlines thing and we hate it too. This of course also means that these litters are only being offered to the lower 48 states - no international deliveries, no Alaska or Hawaii deliveries. Again, sorry. We keep them that long on purpose. This is a best practice issue for the puppies themselves as well as a service to you, their new owners. If you want that, let us know and we'll handle it. If you're wanting to fill a wall with silver and gold foiled registrations for your dog and brag that it's registered six times over, or actually compete in the events of multiple registries, go for it. Breeding dogs from a diversity of registered bloodlines - It's better for the dogs - it's better for the breed

Aggression towards people, other animals Hyperactivity Sadness, depression and being withdrawn Counter-surfing Digging …to name just the most common few! As previously stated, many of these are perfectly normal behaviors but unwanted when living with a human family. But some are real psychological or pathological problems that need to be properly researched and skillfully addressed, most likely by a vet or professional behaviorist. If the behavior problem is just one of normal canine behavior such as digging, barking, chasing small animals or pulling on the leash, natural behaviors but that are unacceptable or unwanted by an owner, then training alternative and acceptable behaviors in their place is the answer. This still takes knowledge of the particular cause and motivation of the behavior, knowledge and skill to choose and train an alternative behavior and patience and dedication to see the solution through. But these types of problems are solvable by the average owner and solutions for these problems will soon be appearing on this site. The sort of advice that can only really be given and be correct if offered by a qualified and knowledgeable professional. The first step is to see a vet to either identify or rule out any physical or pathological problems, and then be referred to a certified and reputable behavioral specialist. Many cases require a unique approach for which the only advice that can really be given is to seek professional help. We have to remember that Labradors were bred for a particular job and come with hard-wired instinctive and driven behaviors that we developed in them through many generations of selective breeding. Labs have needs and desires that have to be satisfied. They have traits and behaviors so deeply genetically ingrained that you simply cannot eliminate them. Although in most cases you can train alternative more acceptable behaviors. There are of course also more severe and worrying behavior problems, stemming from either pathological or deep-seated psychological issues. With understanding, patience, dedication, a caring attitude and a carefully planned scientific approach, almost all problems can be overcome or at least successfully managed. Helps ease anxiety in their new home. We love using Bully Sticks to help divert these unwanted behaviors. For a list of all the supplies we get for our new service dog puppies check out our New Puppy Checklist on the PuppyInTraining. Behavior Article Links Some of these problems might seem trivial to others. But when it is you that is losing sleep, dealing with complaints from neighbours or repairing destroyed furniture, it is not trivial at all. In this section we take a look at common Labrador behavior problems. We will begin by giving you some general behavioural information and taking you through an FAQ of common Labrador behaviour problems and their solutions. We will then give you links to our most popular Labrador Behaviour articles where you will find detailed answers to your behavior questions. Bad Behaviour or Bad Training? Others are more complex and require deeper investigation. Knowing why a dog behaves as it does, and what caused the problem in the first place is not always helpful. Sometimes it is simpler to just treat the symptoms in front of you. For example, some labrador puppies will become quite aggressive around food at an early age. Others will let anyone take their dinner. At other times, a good understanding of what causes a behavioural problem, and steps may need to be taken to manage the dog, perhaps avoiding the fear trigger. Resolving behavioral problems Treating Labrador behavior issues is normally tackled in one of two ways Training Management Problems such as jumping up, running away, night-waking, dragging you along on the lead, and food guarding, are all best resolved by training. At other times a management approach may be more appropriate. For example, a rescue dog that has developed a deep seated fear of children may simply need to be kept away from kids. The trauma to the dog of trying to desensitise it, and the time factor required to do so may be too great. It may be simpler to keep the dog muzzled in public and rehomed away from small children. Analysing Labrador behavior Our understanding of dog psychology has improved greatly in recent years, but perhaps there is sometimes a tendency to take an analysis of individual dog behaviour too far. If a problem with Labrador behaviour is disrupting your family life, it needs fixing, no matter what the root cause. Not only for the benefit of the dog, but also, in order that peace and harmony can be restored. Dogs do not fare well in households where everyone is stressed and upset. Not a problem dog? Whilst we cannot help loving our dogs, if we can avoid labelling them as having this problem or that problem, and just deal with any behavior that arises in a practical and appropriate way, I suspect their lives might be easier. Behavioral problems in Labradors can normally be successfully resolved. How do I stop my dog jumping up? Jumping up is quite cute in puppies, and of course many of us allow them to do this until they start knocking people over. Curing jumping up is not too difficult, but it requires patience and persistence. My dog is nipping my arms and it hurts! There is a lot of information on biting in small puppies on this website. But it can be very worrying when this behaviour persists, or reappears in an older dog. This is a common problem in families with a young dog aged between 6 and 18 months. At this age, your dog is still mentally a puppy, but he is now a very big puppy, and the biting really hurts. Most biting in older puppies is associated with over-excitement and inappropriate play rough housing with the dog. Check out these two articles for further information as well as the biting information link above. How to play safely with a Labrador How can I stop my dog whining? Dogs often learn to whine when they are crated or left. Happily, there is quite a straightforward training programme to teach your dog to be quiet in his crate. You can find the instructions here: click for quiet. Labradors love to carry things around in their mouths. This is partly because they are natural retrievers, but also partly because they soon learn that picking up your stuff gets them a whole load of attention! Avoid chasing your dog whilst he is carrying something as dogs love being chased, and this will only encourage him to run faster. So keep a little pot of yummy left overs in the fridge for this purpose. You may find your dog is less inclined to pick up your cushions etc, if you give him some soft cuddly toys of his own. Or you may need to pop a baby gate across the sitting room, to keep him away from the sofa and chairs until you are there to supervise. Help us stop our Labrador raiding the trash can! Some behaviours are so common as to be normal, and bin raiding is a universal problem for Labrador owners. And of course, he has all day to figure out how to get in there, whilst you do not have all day to figure out how to stop him. And punishing the dog when you return home and find the contents strewn across the kitchen floor, will only serve to make the dog fearful of you on your return. The best solution for bin raiding is therefore to place the can where the dog cannot get at it, or purchase a Labrador proof bin. How can I stop my Labrador running after other dogs? Most Labradors are very friendly indeed. And one of the biggest problems for many young Labrador owners, is getting them to come back when there are other people around, or other dogs to be played with. Sometimes there is a clear trigger for night waking to begin, but the waking carries on after the trigger is removed. In other cases, the early waking puppy just carries on early waking, with the addition of some increasingly demanding barking to hurry you downstairs. We look at night waking in some detail in this article. Night waking — how to restore the peace How can I stop my dog eating poo? This horrible habit is surprisingly common. Yes, this Pug body harness is a little limited in terms of features, but those new to body harnesses may consider it as a starting point. Some people and their dogs are unsure about harnesses and look to experiment. The ThinkPet is a low cost, easy and basic walking harness which many people get to experiment with. It also has the additional benefit of being brightly designed and highly reflective. The central layer of this harness is designed from a breathable mesh. There are two separate points of adjustment located at the neck and chest, which makes this harness not only easier to put on but to adjust to your Pugs body shape. Despite the reflective strip surface, which is cleverly piped into the harness material, this harness can be easily cleaned by hand or machine wash. Why Choose A Harness for your Pug? As with all dog breeds, training is key to a pleasant walk. If you have a Pug that pulls on the leash — you probably find it frustrating and worry they may be hurting themselves. This can be especially true with a flat-faced breed like a French Bulldog or a Pug where breathing can become difficult, and the airways should be kept clear. A good dog harness should help to control this behaviour as well as aid in training your pug. Pug zoomies that mad moment when your dog is bursting with energy and suddenly dashes everywhere can also require a lot of energy to control. A good Pug harness should help to control this behaviour as well as aid in training your dog. This is particularly beneficial while they are still a pug puppy as it introduces good practices. A good harness can also help with health problems such as canine hip dysplasia CHD as well as mobility issues for older Pugs. There are also support harnesses specially designed for issues such as hip dysplasia, arthritis, knee and mobility problems. They can also help with carrying or lifting your dog if needed. These are outside the scope of this article, though it is worth investigating or asking a veterinary expert if your Pug requires additional assistance. Developing hip dysplasia in dogs can be familiar with some breeds. Legg-Perthes disease , for example, can affect the head of the femur thigh bone. Over time the femoral head deteriorates, causing a break down of the hip joint. This may be restricted to a single hip socket and cause arthritis in the hind legs. Although surgery can help, a good harness in formative years can help balance weight, and a rehabilitation harness can aid in recovery. Other minor issues sometimes associated with pugs include elongated palate, Stenotic Nares , and obesity — all of which may affect your choice of harness. Collar or Harness for a Pug? Pugs are a brachycephalic breed flat-faced breed of dog which unfortunately leads to breathing problems. While collars are generally safe, dogs which pull can put additional pressure on the neck and throat. Throat injury can lead to breathing issues in many breeds and could exacerbate those in Pugs. It is, therefore, worth considering investing in a harness to walk your Pug safely. Not only will this reduce pressure on the Pugs thick neck, nasal airways, windpipe and head, but it also helps control your Pug, train your dog and reduce pulling behaviour. Harnesses may not solve this problem entirely as some can still be slipped out of, we will discuss this later, but this has been considered in the collection. Finally, harnesses are much more comfortable and adjustable than a regular collar. You should use a Pug dog collar for regular wear, quick toilet trips and for those all-important ID tags. Types of Harnesses for Pugs Choosing a dog harness is not often as simple as picking the best fitting one from the shelf. Different harnesses do different things with some for general wear and others for helping with problematic behaviours or even mobility issues. Pug Harness Vest These are the simplest and often most affordable harnesses available. They tend to be simple, comfortable, easy to put on and wear and have few features. Materials can include mesh, plastics and nylon, simple over the head, figure-8 and some are even reversible to give different styles. Given their simplicity, there are a few reasons to have these harness vest types. The first could be to get your Pug used to wearing a dog harness. When trying to introduce a dog to collars, harnesses or halters — they can sometimes react badly. Vests can also be great for dogs who are well behaved or do not tend to pull on the leash. The types available are: Back Clip. Search Choosing the Perfect Harness for your Pug I'm sure we're all aware of the fact that our little barrel-chested, squish-faced bundles of joy cannot wear a 'normal' collar. Which really isn't a huge deal considering the alternative - the harness - is safe, comfy, and quite fashionable. That being said, buy your tough guy one with skulls and crossbones on it and I DARE some human to call it a bra! Let's dive deeper into the world of harnesses. Hopefully, by the end, you'll be well on your way to getting the perfect one for your pug. Pugs are a brachycephalic breed. Brachycephalic means "shortened head" and refers to the short nose and flat face of dogs like Pugs, French Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, and Chihuahuas. The flat face is the result of a smaller upper jaw, in which the tissues inside are bigger than the jaw can allow. All of the airway issues that can result from this overcrowding are collectively referred to as "brachycephalic airway syndrome. Very simply, it's an airway obstruction that causes symptoms such as snoring, snorting, noisy breathing, and tiring or fainting during exercise. Granted, these quirks are part of the comical allure we love about this breed, but it's not necessarily a positive trait for our pugs. Now that we know the anatomical background of our pug's face, we can discuss why a harness is necessary over a collar. Simply put, collars can pull on our pug's layrnx, making breathing more difficult, and also put strain on the face and eyes. This compression and constriction whenever your pug pulls ahead and the leash goes taut causes increased breathing difficulties. Moreover, if your pug lunges to the side or jerks his head, serious injury can happen to the windpipe which could lead to a collapsed trachea. A harness is also essential for pugs, who risk their eyeballs protruding from the sockets if too much pressure is put around their neck. Reason enough, right? You can trust that we maintain strict editorial integrity in our writing and assessments; however, we receive compensation when you click on links to products from our partners and get approved. The Harness A proper harness should be the apparatus that is used any time that a Pug dog is on leash. As opposed to a collar, the harness will distribute pressure, force and tension across the dog's shoulders, chest and back. Let's list the pros of the harness, shall we? With a harness, pulling often does nothing but get the front legs off the floor — definitely not a result your pug will find effective. Helps to stop jumping. If you have a pug that jumps up against people, a harness is a good way to stop the action without worrying about choking him in the process. Ideal for puppies, which might get tangled or hurt themselves while pulling on a regular collar and leash. Helps control pugs that are easily distracted. The Fun Part - Choosing a Harness! There are many fun trims in between the two. Every poodle will still require some regular attention to coat upkeep and grooming. However, owning a standard poodle is so worth the brushing — and it could become your own form of meditation! Be careful, once you get your first standard poodle, it is hard to stop! Parti Standard Poodles - If you love spots, you may want a parti poodle. A parti poodle is a poodle of white and another color. There are several distinct patterns: the tuxedo, spotted, and abstract all refer to a poodle that is white and another color. That color can be black, brown, red, apricot, creme, silver, blue, grey, cafe-au-lait, or silver-beige. Parti poodles are usually more than half white with colored spots. They can range from almost a solid white with just a few spots of color to the more colorful tuxedos. Tuxedos look like a poodle dressed for a party. They have white on the legs and a white collar that may or may not go completely around the neck. Tuxedo-colored poodles also have white on the belly that should extend up to the chest. Some tuxedos have colored legs almost to the feet and others have white all the way up to their back. Abstract poodles have limited white markings and are almost a solid colored dog. The most common abstract poodle marking is a simple white mark on the chest. White splashes of color may also occur on the face, head, chest, and feet. Abstract poodles sometimes have a white chest and white feet that look like they have been dipped in paint. Ticking marks are the small spots found within the white parts of the dog. Dogs may have little to no ticking. Ticking on legs may look like small spots or be large enough to look like stripes. We have standard poodle puppies for sale in these parti color combinations: black and white parti, brown and white parti, red and white parti, apricot and white parti, blue and white parti and silver and white parti. Multi-colored poodles include parti poodles, abstracts, brindles and phantom poodles. Phantom, Tri color, Brindle and Sable Poodles What are brindle, phantom, sable and tri colored standard poodles? Brindle standard poodles have two colors that form a striped pattern. They come in a variety of colors including silver, blue, grey, black, and brown. The brindle pattern may cover the whole body or be on the colored part of the dog not the white areas. It is possible to have a tuxedo or spotted parti poodle with a brindle pattern. Phantom poodles have markings often compared to those of a doberman pincher. There are several other breeds that have this color pattern. While phantom-patterned dogs have 2 coat colors, the markings of a phantom poodle are in a specific pattern, unlike a parti colored dog. Phantom poodles have lighter markings on their legs, across the cheeks on the face, across the chest, on the eyebrows, and below the tail. A true phantom will hold these marking throughout its lifetime. Phantom colors can be found in these combinations: Black phantoms: black and apricot, black and red, black and cream, black and brown, or black and silver Brown phantoms: brown and apricot or brown and creme Red phantoms: red and apricot or red and creme Silver or blue phantoms: silver and creme or blue and creme. On a silver, the markings may become almost indistinguishable as the color changes it is common for silver poodles to fade in color over time. Sable poodles are usually born black or brown and clear a kind of lightening with age. Sable dogs will mature to a lighter dog with black tips. When a poodle is groomed you often may see dark markings only on the longer hair such as the tips of the ears. A puppy that is born a dark brown or black that is also a sable may lighten to a creme with just dark tips. Tricolored poodles are genetically two color patterns. They are a parti colored poodle with phantom markings. The legs may be white as is often seen on a parti dog. The only phantom marking that occur may be seen on the face and eyebrows. You may see poodles with multiple patterns such as a brindle parti or brindle tuxedo. There are also brindle and phantom poodles, sable and phantom, and sable and brindle combinations all with or without parti markings. Dogs may have a black or dark mask on the face which is considered rare. The markings of a multi-colored dog may also change over time, which can be interesting to see. A pregnant British Bulldog must be closely monitored once it reaches its final stages of pregnancy. Female Bulldog: Which Is Better? Besides papers and registry documents, bloodline, age, and coat color are also some factors that could affect the average price of your Bulldog. Here is a detailed list of the factors that affect the price range of an English Bulldog: Age: English Bulldog puppies cost more than seniors or adult dogs because they are healthier and more active. Senior dogs often have tons of health issues that need immediate medical attention, while puppies are a joy to be with because they are at the prime of their health. Gender: Female English Bulldogs may cost you a bit more than a male because of their breeding potential. Potential owners and Bully enthusiasts also request a female pup more than males because of their better temperament. The demand pushes the price of female English Bulldogs to a higher cost. Rarer colors like tri-color , merle , and blue English Bulldogs are typically much more expensive. Bloodline: A champion English Bulldog puppy might cost three to four times as much as typical English Bulldog puppies. They are known to exhibit the best physique, temperament, and health. Plus, they are perfect for competitions. Reputable breeders often have a long history of breeding success. Their high prices are also backed by health guarantees and other safeguards. Health Screenings: Before selling their puppies, many breeders evaluate them for health problems. They sell their puppy for a higher price if it is deemed to be in excellent health. Regardless, it is still a good idea to look for an English Bulldog puppy that comes with a health guarantee. With this list, you might already have your own cost estimation for the pup you want. English Bullies that have been rescued have already been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and have complete registration documents. To help you in purchasing, we have compiled a list of all the initial expenses for owning an English Bulldog: Food and Treats: One of the basic items you should get for your English Bulldog is high-quality dog food and a few treat packages for on-hand training. You may need to buy a few of them to see which one works best for your dog. As a fairly slobber-ish canine, you might have a hard time cleaning leftover dog food from a cheap container. Bed: To prevent your English Bulldog from abnormal physical disorders, it is best to invest in a high-quality dog bed. A crate may also be a safe haven for your dog when you are not home or when you have visitors. Leashes and Collars: Some of the first things you should get for your English Bulldog are leashes and collars. Be sure to get one that is a good fit for your dog. Metal nameplates included in these items that are less likely to corrode might cost a little extra. Toys: Chew toys that are easy to pick up and clean are ideal for English Bulldogs. Choose interactive and sturdy toys that will stimulate their high intelligence and withstand their strong jaws. Grooming Essentials: Brushing English Bulldogs a few times a week should keep them looking nice, and their shedding would be manageable. Cleaning moisture that could be trapped under their wrinkles is also a must. Nail clippers and a doggy toothbrush are good investments, too. Initial Vet Visits: English Bulldog puppies require initial vet examinations to ensure that they are healthy. Dog License: For an English Bulldog puppy, a license is a necessity. The dog microchip should have all your important contact information as the owner, increasing the chances of your Bully being returned to you as soon as possible if they get lost. Despite their ancestry, English Bulldogs are not ferocious anymore but laid back and affectionate. Bulldogs are one of the most recognizable dog breeds in the world. They are medium-sized dogs with low-hanging, thick bodies. They are perfect for inexperienced owners due to their relaxed personality, moderate exercise needs, and easy grooming. You should also avoid buying puppies from pet shops since they usually come from puppy mills. Buying a puppy directly from a reputable breeder is the best way to go. Ethical breeders provide health screenings for their puppies and answer all your questions regarding their parents, breeding, and living conditions. Bulldogs from reputable breeders cost more due to high breeding expenses. Other breeding costs include genetic testing, vet bills, and preparation expenses. On the other hand, when you adopt from a Bulldog rescue, the dog is usually spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Age: Caring for a newborn Bulldogs takes time, money, and energy. Older puppies or adolescent Bulldogs will cost less than newborns. Gender: The price for female English Bulldogs might be slightly higher in some cases, but the difference is usually negligible. Coat Color: Coat color can seriously affect the price of the dog because some colors and patterns are pretty rare. Standard coat colors include white, fawn, red, brindle, and their combinations. Bulldogs with these colors and patterns fall within the average range price. Meanwhile, rarer colors and patterns are more expensive. The newest colors, like merle or lilac, are even more costly. These numbers are based on the essentials like supplies, food, grooming costs, medical expenses, training costs, with microchip and license included. These movie are to entertain people of all ages from kids to adults. It is classified as comedy and family which for the most part. Each movie in my opinion are light, funny, and cute therefore it make sense to be in those categories. The tone or the mood of the each movie usually falls into the amusing and humorous group and the language is causal and informal since it is not serious like a term paper. Each puppies in the movie seems to exhibit the common traits of how a golden retriever should be. The classic traits such as; intelligent, gentle, trusting, reliable, and confident. Personally I think audience such as myself are proven again and again with each movie that these golden puppies will uphold those traits. Therefore reinforcing our concept on these dogs should be. Since it is in a form of a movie its purpose is to entertain us, and at the same time evoke emotions throughout the journey. I tend to find happiness and satisfaction knowing that the puppies completed whatever mission they set out to do, and they all safely return home to their respective owners. Overall I think each puppies within the movie were treated like the family pet, and of course each kid showed unconditional love to their respective dog. Lastly I would also like to add what makes these dogs so differently than other mediums besides the fact they talk is that they all take some sort of personality of their owner. For an example in the movie rose bud loves being dressed up by Alice whom has a interest in fashion and they both have a pink color theme. Or buddha he and his owner Sam are both really into the art of buddhism therefore they love to be zen and likes meditation. I believe that is what makes them a bit different compare to other genre.
