Chico and his buddy, Bear, were surrendered to the rescue because their family was having financial difficulties and could not afford to keep them. Both pups were stressed when they first came into the rescue after this major life change, but they have acclimated well to their new foster homes. Chico is currently being fostered with two small dogs both more laid back energy, one is very submissive and one is more bossy, and Chico does well with both. He has a medium energy level and is always up for activity and does great in the car.He has definitely acclimated to our home and dogs. We have one dog that is very submissive that he gets along fine with and another dog that is a bit dominant and he shows him the proper level of respect. He is doing great with house training. Chico would definitely be happy in a home with another dog. He would be great with kids, but he when he gets very excited, he likes to jump so care would be needed with really young children. I really realized this when for the second time I ran out went to a local store for dog food and had to put him on another dog food. His diarrhea instantly resolved twice. Not sure if the company is cutting costs or what but the quality isn't there and it's overpriced. With previous dogs, I tried different food and ended with all kinds of health issues. After much time and trying so many things I looked into Royal Canin and realized they make breed specific foods. Yay they also have one for German Shepard puppies so I figured it was also for the specific needs etc. I will change to the full grown when he is bigger. My Vet is very happy with this food also. About the Breed A Mini Goldendoodle can be a cross breed between a Golden Retriever mom and a Miniature Poodle dad F1 , mini goldendoodle mom and a mini poodle dad f1b , a mini goldendoodle mom and a mini goldendoodle dad f2. While the Mini Goldendoodle is typically a low-shedding dog, it may shed some. The Mini Goldendoodle works well for many allergy sufferers. Appearance There are currently no size classifications for a full grown Mini Goldendoodle dog. Mini Goldendoodle sizes can vary. Some Mini Golden doodles adults dogs may grow beyond their intended size. The mini Goldendoodles usually grow to be about inches tall.
