A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. We are a small breeder of exceptional companion, multi-generational Australian Labradoodle Puppies. We are located in the central Florida area, minutes away from Orlando and very accessible via all of the major central Florida highways. All of our litters are hand raised in our home, never in a kennel. Our puppies are born in our master bedroom or bathroom, where they remain until they are three and a half to four weeks old. During this early period, we begin using puppy culture techniques in order to help raise very confident, well balanced puppies. At just over three weeks, we introduce a designated potty area, which they often begin finding within a couple of days, we also introduce solid foods at this same time initially goats milk, then a few days later we begin adding raw food. Later they are moved into our main living area, where they are exposed many new sounds, sights, textures and experiences in preparation for joining your family. The majority of our parent dogs share a home with one of our incredible guardian families. Virtually all of our guardians have come to us by way of referral from our existing guardian families - we'd like to think that is indicative of a very positive relationship. By implementing our guardian family team, our mom and dad dogs often live as the single pampered pet of their household. This is consistent in maintaining great family dogs - likely one of the reasons that you are considering an Australian labradoodle puppy. Our guardians are very hands on with the shaping of your future puppy, sometimes even assisting during the birthing process and later with weekly visits to their home - this is good for our momma dogs, their families and of course our puppies. Our visits allow our pups weekly car rides from week one, as well as early handling and socialization in a very safe and controlled environment. Our parent dogs are rigorously health tested prior to being considered for breeding and assessed for their temperament. We have been working with most of our lines for over fourteen years and have continued to refine them. When we give consideration to using outside lines, we are very attentive to the same qualities we seek in our parent dogs. While the majority of our litters are medium in size, we do occasionally offer mini doodles as well as standards. We tend to specialize and be known for our red and chocolate labradoodle lines, but also produce a great variety of other colors and patterns. Thank you for visiting our website! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We look forward to becoming part of your happily furever after!
A designer cross between a border collie and a standard poodle. Border collies are well known for their intelligence, loyalty, train-ability, and desire to please! Turn on your tv for 5 minutes and you will see a border collie featured in many of the commercials that pop up. Why the standard poodle? The original notion for crossing poodles with other breeds in general is the benefits of their curly non shedding coats, and the cute scruffy or teddy bear-like appearance they produce. But what many people don't realize is that the standard poodle is not the frufru, yippy, entitled breed you have imagined. They are actually the number 2 breed for intelligence after the border collie, and you will not find a more versatile or affectionate, companion! Combining these two breeds is a no-brainer, I'm amazed it has taken this long for this cross to gain popularity. I currently work for Emily at her primary business as a pet stylist, and have for about 3 years now. I'm passionate about dogs and about this amazing cross. I have already produced 2 amazing litters with my Willow Hill Borderdoodle, Ula, and am so excited to introduce our new Willow Hill Border doodle and future mama, Fiona from Menace and Pippen. We are located near beautiful Madison County Virginia where my dogs and pups are a part of my family and are raised inside my home! Why Willow Hill Borderdoodles? These are not backyard science experiments or accidents. I have researched, planned and teamed up with other amazing owners and breeders both near and far, to be able to form the most ideal parent pairs, producing the most fabulous additions to your family! My focus is health and temperament! You will notice that all of our parent dogs are fully health tested for all hereditary illnesses associated with their breed you can view their individual profiles on our hunks and gals pages. Because of my background as a vet assistant, you can be sure these pups are raised correctly; pups leave for their new homes at 8 weeks of age having been de-wormed every 2 weeks, and having a full health check by a licensed Veterinarian and all age appropriate vaccinations. They will also be well socialized and started on potty training. Did I mention all of our pups come with a 2 year health guarantee! If a congenital or hereditary defect is discovered by your vet we will refund or replace your puppy! They love to play games, go on hikes, and be part of the family. Bordoodles love kids and get along well with other animals. They don't usually bark, except to warn of a stranger on your property. Bordoodles are usually hypoallergenic and are low to non-shedding. Bordoodles also excel in agility sports and are super desirable as service dogs due to their high I. We ask that you provide detailed answers whenever possible. Our Bordoodles are very smart, patient, intuitive, and level-headed. These are the ideal traits required in all service dogs regardless of the modality. In addition to our breeding program, Mountain Rose also owns the largest training operation in Utah. In our 8, sq ft facility, located in Morgan, Utah, we specialize in training Bordoodles as well as Sheepadoodles. If you are in need of a service dog, we can help you select a Bordoodle or Sheepadoodle puppy that displays the temperament traits consistent with those found in proven service dogs. You can obtain more information about Bordoodles and Bordoodles service dogs by browsing this site. If you would like to learn more about Sheepadoodle service dogs you can visit www. He can also be a bit stubborn but overall a complete joy. He rings his bell to go out to potty, at only 17 weeks can sit, stay, go down, roll over, leave it when treats are placed on his paws very impressive for a little guy , shake a paw or high 5 and has the best and most entertaining personality. He loves people and from what little interaction he has had with other dogs, seems to love them as well. We couldn't be happier with our newest family member. We really enjoyed meeting all the dogs, especially Flower and Finn. Of course, we also enjoyed the chance to speak with you and your trainers Colton and Daniel. Mountain Rose exceeded our expectations. After getting to play with the dogs in person, learning more about your program and seeing for ourselves how the puppies are being raised, we are even more excited about getting a puppy from Mountain Rose. Our fingers are crossed that Flower comes into heat soon! We also enjoyed seeing the Bordoodles at your daughter's house. Jonathan was very accommodating in showing us all five Bordoodles. They were very excited and fun to meet. Thanks again for your hospitality. She originally had reservations about us buying a Bordoodle. She said that she was unfamiliar with this breed and cautioned us and even advised that we may wish to look at a "purebred" dog. We just wanted to share that with you. He has really fit into our family and it's so fun watching him learn our routine. He's made friends with lots of the neighborhood kids and is super friendly with everyone. I take him to puppy school once a week with our son Carter he's 9 because Carter was having some trouble being the "pack leader" when we first got Gussie, but the puppy school has been great and Gus lights up the second Carter gets off the school bus each day. I attached a couple of pictures for you to see how much he's grown! She's so smart that at 4 months old she can play dead when she is shot with a "bang", she can heal like nobody's business, and she sits like a lady waiting for us to open the door before she goes out or comes in. She gets her treats in her bowl after dinner. All in all she's pretty terrific. He is definitely part of our family and we love him so much. He's such a smart dog! I remember when we first got him, his color was black. You said he would likely lighten up. Here's what he looks like now. They are a crossbreed between the Border Collie and the Poodle, combining the intelligence and herding abilities of the Border Collie with the hypoallergenic coat and charming personality of the Poodle. The exact origin of Bordoodles is still being determined, as with most designer dog breeds. They are believed to have been first intentionally bred in the late 20th century, primarily in Australia and the United States. Breeders aimed to create a dog with the desirable traits of both parent breeds, such as intelligence, trainability, athleticism, and a low-shedding coat. Bordoodle Generations Over time, different generations of Bordoodles have been developed, each with its own set of characteristics and traits. Since both parent breeds are distinctly different, the puppies from this cross exhibit a wide range of traits in appearance and temperament. They may inherit more characteristics from one parent breed over the other or display a balanced blend of features from both breeds. Breeders often backcross with a Poodle to increase hypoallergenic qualities and reinforce herding abilities. F1b Bordoodles tend to have higher predictability of traits compared to F1 Bordoodles. There is a greater chance for traits to stabilize and become more consistent. F2 Bordoodles can still display variations in appearance and temperament due to genetic recombination. Some dogs may resemble one parent more strongly, while others may show a balanced mix of traits. This generation is often sought after for its potential to produce puppies with a more predictable set of traits. By introducing another backcross, breeders aim to refine specific qualities in the offspring, such as coat texture, size, or temperament. Multigenerational Bordoodle A multigenerational Bordoodle refers to a dog that is the result of breeding two or more generations of Bordoodles. Breeding multigenerational Bordoodles aims to establish a more consistent breed standard while retaining the desired traits from the parent breeds. What Does a Bordoodle Look Like? They have a sturdy and athletic physique, combining the agility and grace of the Border Collie with the elegance of the Poodle. They have a moderate yet strong bone structure, giving them a sense of athleticism and agility. Their head is usually rounded with expressive eyes and floppy or semi-erect ears. One of the standout features of the Bordoodle is its coat, which can vary in texture and length depending on the genetic traits inherited from its parents. As for coat color, Bordoodles can have a wide array of variations, including black, white, cream, brown, merle, and combinations thereof. How big will a Border Collie Poodle mix get? Bordoodle typically falls into the medium-sized category. On average, they can reach a height ranging from 12 to 22 inches 31 to 56 cm at the shoulder. The weight of a Bordoodle usually falls between 30 and 60 pounds 14 to 27 kg , depending on various factors such as genetics, diet, and exercise. They inherit traits from both parent breeds, creating a unique blend of characteristics. The Border Collie is renowned for its intelligence, energy, and herding instincts. These dogs are highly trainable, diligent, and thrive when given tasks to perform. They are known for their loyalty and strong bonds with their families. Border Collies are generally alert, responsive, and highly active, requiring regular mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom and potential behavior issues. Border Collie Conversely, Poodles are highly intelligent, versatile, and often have a balanced temperament. They are known for their friendly nature, adaptability, and eagerness to please their owners. Poodles are usually quick learners and enjoy participating in various activities, such as obedience training, agility, and even water sports. Combining these two breeds in a Bordoodle can result in a dog with a wonderful temperament. Bordoodles are intelligent, eager to learn, and responsive to training. They excel in sports and activities due to their athleticism and agility. They thrive when given mental challenges and excercise. Training a Bordoodle should involve positive reinforcement techniques, such as rewards, praise, and treats. These dogs are highly motivated by positive feedback and will respond well to consistent and structured training methods. Early socialization is crucial for Bordoodles to ensure they develop good manners and become well-adjusted members of society. Are Bordoodles good family dogs? Yes, Bordoodles can be excellent companions for the right family. Their intelligence and trainability make them suitable for families willing to invest time and effort into their training and mental stimulation. However, their high energy levels may not be the best fit for families with a sedentary lifestyle or limited time to dedicate to their exercise needs. Generally, Bordoodles can get along well with children if properly socialized and introduced from an early age. They have a playful nature and can be patient and gentle with kids. However, supervision is always recommended to ensure both the dog and children interact positively and safely. Are they good with other pets? Bordoodles can generally be good with other pets, especially if they are socialized and introduced to them at an early age. Hip Dysplasia: This is a common health issue in many large and medium-sized breeds, including Border Collies and Poodles. It occurs when the hip joint does not develop properly, leading to discomfort and potentially causing arthritis. Regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and avoiding excessive jumping or strenuous activities can help prevent or minimize the impact of hip dysplasia. Consult your veterinarian for further advice; surgical intervention may be necessary in severe cases. Progressive Retinal Atrophy PRA : PRA is an inherited eye condition that leads to the gradual degeneration of the retina, ultimately resulting in blindness. Regular eye check-ups by a veterinarian can help detect early signs of PRA. Epilepsy: Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by recurring seizures. While the exact cause is often unknown, it can sometimes be inherited. If your Bordoodle exhibits seizures, consult with a veterinarian who can help diagnose and manage the condition. Allergies: Both Border Collies and Poodles are known to have allergies, and Bordoodles may inherit this predisposition. Allergies can manifest as skin irritations, itching, ear infections, and gastrointestinal issues. Identifying and avoiding allergens, such as certain foods or environmental triggers, can help manage allergies. Your veterinarian may recommend a special diet, medication, or other interventions to alleviate symptoms. On average, Bordoodles have a lifespan of 12 to 15 years. However, individual dogs may vary, and factors such as genetics, overall health, and lifestyle can influence their lifespan. Providing proper nutrition, regular exercise, routine veterinary care, and a loving environment can contribute to a longer and healthier life for your Bordoodle. How much exercise does a Bordoodle need? Bordoodles typically benefit from at least one hour of exercise per day. This can include activities such as brisk walks, jogging, playing fetch, and engaging in interactive games or training sessions. Fortunately, the Bordoodle is highly adaptable to apartment living, which means you need not worry even if you reside in an urban area with limited access to extensive outdoor spaces. Since Bordoodles have a herding background from the Border Collie parent, mental stimulation is also important for their overall well-being. Puzzle toys, obedience training, and agility exercises can help meet their intellectual needs. How often should you groom a Border Doodle? Bordoodle has a low-shedding coat that requires regular brushing to prevent matting and keep it looking its best. Aim to brush their coat at least two to three times a week, using a slicker brush or a comb to remove any tangles or loose hair. Additionally, regular bathing is recommended every six to eight weeks or as needed, using a mild dog shampoo to keep their coat clean and healthy. Pay attention to their ears, teeth, and nails as well, ensuring they are clean, free of wax buildup, and properly trimmed. What should I feed my Bordoodle? Bordoodle requires a high-quality, balanced diet specifically formulated for active and medium-sized breeds. Look for dog foods that list real meat or fish as the primary ingredient, without fillers or artificial additives. The portion size will depend on factors such as age, weight, and activity level. How Much Does a Bordoodle Cost? Remember that the initial cost of acquiring a puppy is just one aspect of pet ownership. There are additional expenses to consider, including veterinary care, vaccinations, grooming, food, training, and general supplies. These platforms allow you to search for Bordoodle puppies based on location and other preferences. Breed-specific Websites: Some breeders have their own websites dedicated to Bordoodles. These websites provide detailed information about their breeding practices, available puppies, and often include photos and testimonials from previous buyers. Local Dog Shows and Events: Attending dog shows, agility trials, or breed-specific events can be a great way to connect with reputable Bordoodle breeders. These events provide an opportunity to meet breeders in person, ask questions, and potentially see their dogs in action. Check local event listings or contact your nearest kennel club for information on upcoming events. Bordoodle Rescue Sites In addition to purchasing a Bordoodle from a breeder, you may also consider adopting a rescue Bordoodle. Here are a few rescue organizations that specialize in placing Bordoodles in loving homes: Doodle Rock Rescue Texas, USA : This is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Doodles, including Bordoodles. They have a thorough adoption process and ensure that all rescued dogs receive necessary medical care and behavioral assessment before being placed in suitable homes. They have a network of volunteers and foster homes across the United States, making it possible to adopt a Bordoodle regardless of your location. The Bordoodle breed, a cross between a Border Collie and a Poodle, offers a unique combination of intelligence, energy, and affection. They are highly trainable and excel in various activities, including agility and obedience. They have a low shedding coat, making them a good option for people with allergies. Their friendly and loyal nature also makes them wonderful family pets and therapy dogs. Their high energy levels and intelligence require regular mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom and destructive behavior. They thrive in an active household that can provide them with ample exercise and mental engagement. Furthermore, their grooming needs may require regular attention and maintenance to keep their coat healthy and mat-free. Testimonials Wilder, now 3 month old, is awesome. He loves all of us, loves to please, and loves to explore and learn. Several neighbors and friends are jealous, and others have asked to help them with theirs. However, we met one of your older dogs at a restaurant last year, asked the owner about him, and immediately began researching Oregon Bordoodles. She is the most personable, intelligent dog I have ever owned. When we started looking into getting a Bordoodle we were fortunate to find Danielle, who answered all our many questions and worked closely with us throughout the process of picking a puppy and finally bringing our baby home. He is a spunky, energetic, loving dog. He loves to play and he is very brilliant. He can learn tricks in 10 minutes and will remember them forever. All of our lives have changed with his presence, but we would not trade him for any dog! It has been pure ease and love on every step of our journey. Lassie Grace is a love, with over the top energy and enthusiasm for life, hikes miles easily, with daily mile walks. Strong, muscular, guardian of her domain, still very puppy with ongoing training as she matures, never met a stranger human or canine , shining star at the vet and groomer they all love her disposition and they send me compliment notes on the joy she brings into their work space. She is high test energy yet mellows and melts right into you for love, confidently submissive, a total kid dog. The puppies were happy and at play in their warm and loving farm environment. We picked our female, red merle pup and named her Daisy. Danielle has provided us with excellent technical and emotional support as Daisy has grown. We love our year and half year old Bordoodle. Daisy is extremely cheerful, freindly and smart. She enjoys all ages of people, especially children. She is low shedding and rarely barks. As a very active dog, she requires consistent and lively exercise and play. Daisy is a great addition to our family and we love her dearly! Are you wondering what a "Bordoodle" is? Bordoodles are extremely intelligent, friendly and eager to please. They get along well with other dogs and children and are very easy to train. Bordoodles are often referred to as a "designer breed" or "Poodle Hybrid" which is not, technically, true, as all dogs are the same species. Life Span Did You Know? The Bordoodle is a designer dog breed. They are a cross between a Border Collie and a Poodle. Although a hybrid breed can take on any combination of characteristics of one or both of the parent breeds, the Bordoodle tends to be a friendly, affectionate, and loyal family dog. The Bordoodle is a playful, loving, and affectionate family dog. They get along well with children, other pets, and other dogs. They can be protective and initially wary of strangers, but do not tend to be aggressive as long as they have been properly socialized. As with any dog breed, poor socialization or training can result in poor behavior including fear-based aggression. But, these dogs generally have a lively, social, and friendly disposition. Although the Bordoodle tends to have a lot of energy, they can adapt well to just about any living situation. They will do well in large homes with room to roam as well as apartments as long as they get enough exercise, mental stimulation, and attention. They also do well in most climates. As with any dog, they are sensitive to heat and extreme cold. Because Bordoodles bond closely with their families, they thrive on attention and affection. This, paired with the fact that they are easily bored, means they do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. A mixed breed can inherit the potential health concerns of one, both, or neither of the parent breeds. For the Bordoodle, potential health concerns to be aware of include allergies, epilepsy , hip dysplasia, and progressive retinal atrophy. Responsible breeders will screen their stock to ensure preventable issues are not being passed on to puppies. Bordoodles tend to be highly intelligent. Although they are eager to please and tend to pick up on things quickly, they are also easily bored. This can pose a challenge for some first-time dog owners. But, overall, the Bordoodle tends to be highly trainable and a good fit for dog owners of all experience levels. They are eager to learn and respond best to positive methods focused on praise and rewards. Puppy training classes are always an option and are a great way to socialize a puppy too. When it comes to coat care, the Border Collie is lower maintenance than the Poodle even though they shed more. You need to be prepared for either type of coat or anything in between with your Bordoodle. The Poodle coat may be low-shedding, but it requires daily brushing and almost monthly grooming in order to stay healthy. The Border Collie coat sheds moderately year-round with heavier shedding sessions twice a year as the seasons change. Brushing a Border Collie is on a weekly basis and bathing is as needed. Weekly ear checks with careful cleaning as needed can help prevent ear infections. The Bordoodle can range from moderate to high energy. Daily walks plus some playtime and time to run should be sufficient to keep this dog happy and healthy. Life Span Did You Know? The Boxer is one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. It has been recognized by the AKC since .Although the Boxer dog breed originated in Germany, their ancient ancestry can be traced back to the Assyrian empire war dogs of BC. The modern Boxer breed we know and love today was originally developed in Germany in the late s. English-bred Bulldogs and the Bullenbesiier were crossed to create an energetic and agile hunting dog to chase wild game. The Boxer is a popular family companion and a versatile working dog. As a member of the Working Group, Boxers can be found competing in dog sports like agility, obedience, and herding. They also make great service and assistance dogs, as well as therapy dogs, and can be found working as search and rescue dogs, drug detection dogs, police dogs, and military dogs. The Boxer is a muscular and energetic dog that tends to have a happy, friendly disposition. They bond closely with their families and tend to get along well with children and other dogs. They can even do well with other pets despite their high prey drive if they are socialized and trained with them. As long as they are well-socialized, Boxers are generally upbeat, playful, and friendly. Although they have a natural instinct to protect their family from unwanted visitors, they do tend to warm up once introduced and are happy to make a new friend. They can be prone to barking a lot if you do not work on socialization and training your dog to stop barking early on. Boxers can be highly adaptable dogs. Although they have a lot of energy and are better suited to homes with yards where they can run, they can adapt to apartment living as long as they get the daily exercise, attention, and mental stimulation they need. As with any non-arctic dog breed, they are sensitive to very cold temperatures. Boxers are also a brachycephalic breed, which means they are even more sensitive to heat than other dogs. A Boxer is also one of the most affectionate dog breeds. Because they bond so closely with their families and get bored easily, they should not be left alone for long periods of time. Potential health conditions to be aware of in a Boxer include hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, thyroid issues , and heart conditions like aortic stenosis and cardiomyopathy. Good breeding practices make a big difference and reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable issues to puppies. So, make sure you are asking the breeder about the health and genetic history of the parents and about any health tests that have been done. Boxers are intelligent dogs that are eager to please their owners. Despite their energetic personality, they are one of the best dog breeds for first-time owners and are highly trainable dogs. They tend to excel at almost any task put before them! Because of their open, friendly nature and high energy, they have a tendency to jump up at people in excitement and playfulness. Since they grow into powerful dogs, you will want to make sure you train your dog not to jump up. Boxers have smooth and short coats that will shed a little year-round and require minimal grooming. A brush-down once or twice a week and the occasional bath as needed will keep their short coat healthy and looking great. Nail trims once or twice a month are usually enough to keep nails from growing too long. Checking ears weekly and carefully cleaning as needed can help prevent ear infections. Checking and wiping their facial wrinkles weekly or a few times a week if your dog is prone to getting into things can help keep their wrinkles clean and free of irritation. Dental diseases, like gum disease, are the most common health issues in older dogs because dental care is often overlooked; and, it can lead to other serious health issues. Brushing daily, plus cleanings at the vet when needed, is ideal. The Boxer is a high-energy dog breed that needs plenty of daily exercise to stay happy and healthy. Due to their high prey drive and urge to chase, they should only be let off-leash in secure areas. Boxers tend to get bored with repetition, are excellent problem solvers, and are naturally exuberant. A fully-grown Boxer usually stands inches tall at the shoulder and weighs pounds. Boxers generally live years on average. In Germany, the Boxer was one of the first dog breeds chosen for police training. Featured Boxer Article. There is a lot of talk about black Boxers dogs; some potential puppy buyers will actively seek out this colored puppy, but their searching is in vain. It may be hard to believe it when you see photos, but black boxers do not exist — the color gene responsible for black coat color does not exist within the breed. Brindle is a pattern of color, it is a striping effect. With most brindle Boxers, the dark stripes are clearly over a fawn background. However, with Boxer dogs that appear to have a black coat, this is due to super heavy reserve brindling. In fact, it can be so dark and so thick, that you cannot see any fawn beneath it. This gives the dog a very dark coat that does indeed appear to be black. Here, we'll go into the facts a bit more to talk about why black cannot exist with the breed and some myths are swirl about regarding this perceived coat color. Why Colors are Misinterpreted It is very easy to see a dog and immediately assume that he is a certain color, based on what your eyes are telling you. However, with some breeds, the Boxer included, you must take a second look. It is sometimes only when you realize how brindle can cause an effect of sorts, that makes a first impression of black, that it starts to make sense. In addition, some Boxers are given the term of black; however, in many cases, this is a shortened term that comes from longer 'black brindle'. The base color of all purebred Boxers is fawn. Brindles are actually fawn with a brindle marking. Those markings are made of a pattern for fur consisting of black striping which covers the fawn… Sometimes just a bit lightly brindled and sometimes a lot a heavily brindled dog. A black Boxer with white flash? Your eyes are playing tricks on you. This pup is super dark reverse brindle with white markings. Cassandra, 5 months old Photo couresty of Christopher Many wonder if perhaps there were black Boxers that were mostly bred out of the lines and that perhaps now and again a dog with a black coat shows up somewhere. However, if we look to the record keeping of the past century, we can see that this is not the case. In this year time period, a black Boxer appeared once, however there is a catch to this. In the Germany, in the late 's a Boxer was paired with a mixed dog that was part Bulldog and part Schnauzer. The resulting litter had puppies that had black coats. Since another breed was introduced into the bloodline, they were not purebreds. These dogs were not used for any further breeding and therefore did not have any influence on genetics going forward. Once in a while there will be a breeder that claims to have black Boxers and will point to this one incident long ago as evidence that black does indeed run in the bloodline. However, since those mixed dogs with black coats were never used for any sort of develop program this simply does not hold true. Another element that shows that this coloring does not exist in the Boxer line is the rule that the Munich Boxer Club created in .This group had stringent control over breeding and development of Boxers in Germany and set the guidelines for the standard, conformation and all elements regarding appearance including coloring. This group did not wish for any experimenting to be done that would introduce the color black and for this reason they made a clear rule that black Boxers would not be accepted. Some make the argument that programs may have ignored this ruling and still attempted to breed black Boxers. However it would have not been in their best interest to do so and additionally, any resulting dogs would have not been part of the Munich Boxer Club since they couldn't have been registered there. This means that any such hypothetical dogs could not have genetically been included in the Boxer's bloodline since they would have been barred from any programs that were developing and perfecting the breed. So, now that we know: This color does not exist in the line The only record of any black Boxer in the last century was a mixed dog and not a purebred Guidelines and strict rules of of the club in Munich that was the foundation of today's Boxers clearly excluded black Boxers. And it is also fair to say: The chance of there being some odd, rare gene mutation that brings black into the coat is extraordinarily rare; mathematically the odds are so low that this can be ruled out Black Boxer puppies cannot be born due to a hidden gene; this is because black is dominant over all other colors. It cannot be recessive, it always comes out over others Why are some people still adamant that this coloring exists? Diesel, at 2 years old Photo courtesy of Brittany Calvert This leads us to the conclusion of only two possibilities in this regard: A 'true' black Boxer simply cannot be a purebred. It is assumed that in this case, it would be done to sell the pups at a higher cost. Some elements to ponder.Their registration papers do not have that color code as an option. Therefore, even if someone verbally dubs a Boxer to have a black coat, the dog - if registered with a recognized club - would officially be another color; and that would most likely be brindle. Since the pup would be handed over to new owners with papers stating he was not black, how can they simultaneously claim to have black Boxer dogs? And this of course, is very unethical. In Summary Every being whether it is a mammal, like a dog, human, etc. These genes determine everything about the being, from skin color to the number legs to where the eyes are.Genes control coat color in dogs, too. In order for a dog to be black, that breed of dog must contain the gene for having a black coat. Boxer dogs do not have that gene. So, there cannot be any black Boxer dogs. It is genetically impossible. A Boxer that is black, or true black with brown points, for example, MUST be a mixed breed or a heavily brindled dog. The contractual agreement between you and the breeder Agreement made to not breed the dog in the future Agreement made to not enter it into competitions No restrictions on the Boxer puppy Read on to see why these factors affect the price of Boxer puppies. Reputation Of The Breeder Breeders spend a lot of time and money to build up their reputation as trustworthy Boxer breeders. The more renowned a breeder is, the more they are able to charge for their dogs. However, some puppy mills and backyard breeders will shoot up their prices to appear to be reputable breeders. Therefore, you should go through a trusted association to find a reputable breeder. Do not be fooled by good advertising. The individual Boxer puppy you want to purchase must have its own papers that document its registration with the American Kennel Club. These papers cost money and will increase the price of your Boxer puppy slightly. This is important because pedigree changes the price of the Boxer puppy; I will discuss this next! Pedigree is important when it comes to determining what your Boxer puppy will look like, its temperament, and the chance of it developing genetic issues in the future as it grows up. Determining who the dam and sire of your Boxer puppy are is important in determining price. If your Boxer puppy has a champion sire or dam, then the price of the puppy will increase significantly. Champion heritage drives the price of the Boxer puppy up because the buyer is almost guaranteed to get a perfect specimen of what a Boxer should be and has a better chance at winning competitions with their Boxer puppy when it grows up. The breed, unfortunately, suffers from hip dysplasia, cardiovascular myopathy, severe arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, several cancers, and aortic valve disease. The American Kennel Club recommends that all of these tests, including thyroid screening, elbow evaluations, and certain DNA tests are all done to produce a long-term prognosis so effective preventative care can be carried out from day one. If a Boxer puppy has any health concerns, then their price will decrease, and they will often be sold for a couple of hundred dollars or so depending on the specific health issues they have. As medium-sized dogs, Boxers can leave their mothers safely at eight weeks. Many people who want to compete with their boxers will wait until the Boxer puppy is six to eight months old before purchasing them. During this time, the breeder will invest in behavioral training. When the Boxer puppy is six to eight months old, the breeder will also be able to give you a better idea of their temperament and their adult markings and ultimate size. As a result, these puppies will be much more expensive than the younger ones. Boxers will stand at 23 to 25 inches tall if they are male and .They have tall, regal-looking shoulders that slope down gently to a smaller set of hips. Their heads are quite square and are characterized by their wrinkles that make them appear confused but curious! Boxers that meet the breed standard are a fawn or brindle color with white markings on their chests, bellies, inner legs, and faces. However, the white markings may not be more than a third of their entire body. If your Boxer puppy meets the breed standard, then their price will increase because they can be used for competitions. However, if they do not meet the breed standard, then their price will be decreased, as this is seen as undesirable from a competition standpoint. The first agreement will prevent you from further breeding your Boxer puppy. The second agreement will prevent you from entering your Boxer puppy into any competitions. Both contacts will decrease the price of your Boxer puppy, as they place restrictions on what you can and cannot do with your puppy as it grows up. There are many other costs associated with owning a Boxer! One-Time Bring Home Costs There are a number of things you will need to purchase before you even pick up your Boxer puppy to make them feel more comfortable and happy in their new home! Fortunately, a lot of these items only need to be purchased once or twice, like food bowls and crates, for example. Here is a list of some of the vital things you need:.

Degenerative Myelopathy Von Willebrand Disease Perhaps the most well-known is hip dysplasia, a condition that causes the hip joint to develop abnormally. This can lead to pain and lameness, and eventually requiring surgery. German Shepherds are also at risk for elbow dysplasia, a similar condition that affects the elbow joint. Other common health problems include allergies, intestinal issues, and eye problems. With proper care and diet, however, German Shepherds can live long and healthy lives. Finding a German Shepherd puppy for sale from a reputable breeder can dramatically — although, not eliminate — the risk of your dog developing some of these conditions. While German Shepherds are often considered to be low-maintenance when it comes to grooming, their coats do require some care and attention. The most important thing to know about German Shepherd coat care is that the breed does not shed uniformly throughout the year. After the shedding period has ended, you can reduce the frequency of brushing to once or twice a week. In addition to regular brushing, German Shepherds also need to be bathed on occasion. How often you need to bathe your German Shepherd will depend on factors such as how often they play outside and whether they have any allergies or skin sensitivities. Generally speaking, however, a once-monthly bath is sufficient for most dogs. German Shepherd Puppies For Sale. After you have been shown pictures of the German shepherd puppies for sale that the breeder has available, you should ask the breeder any questions that you may have. So, what you need to know is how to find German Shepherd puppies for sale that are cheap. Another way to find cheap German Shepherd puppies for sale is to buy them from breeders in your area. You can find breeders in almost every city, so this is an option you should consider before looking for German Shepherd puppies for sale online. One advantage to getting one from a breeder is that they will be able to provide you with a pedigree and will often be able to get you a puppy that is not only purebred but a purebred that will also perform well in the show ring. One thing to remember when buying one of these dogs is that you will be buying a dog that was bred for show. This is why you need to make sure that you get a dog that has had the best possible health care as it can be costly. So, if you have a good vet you can be sure you are getting a healthy dog. When choosing the dog you want then you need to be sure you do not get a dog that is too small or too big. If you have too many breeds in the mix, it is more expensive to breed them all together so try to get a mix of different German Shepherd puppies for sale to get the cheapest prices. Another tip to help you find the best German Shepherd puppies for sale is to watch the breeds that you are interested in. Usually, these dogs are larger and have larger bones so you will be able to see if this breed is right for you before making a purchase. As a final tip to help you get the best dog for the best price it is always best to ask a friend or family member to help you with some research. The Internet is an invaluable tool that allows you to find German Shepherd puppies for sale all over the world, even from people who are not German Shepherd breeders. When you go online, you will find many classifieds that advertise German Shepherd puppies for sale. Some sites allow you to buy directly from a breeder, while others require you to fill out an application. Most of these online sites will allow you to search for puppies that meet your criteria, whether you are looking for AKC registered German Shepherd puppies or simply those that have had some training. It is really up to you which method you choose, depending on how much time and effort you want to put into finding the right dog for your family. Both methods will result in dogs that are high quality. German Shepherd puppies are also easily found through local breeders and animal shelters. Sometimes you may be able to find a good bargain at a local shelter, especially if you are looking for AKC registered German Shepherd puppies. Sometimes you may have to make an appointment and visit the shelter to pick up your new puppy. However, there are other places that you can look to find German Shepherd puppies at a low cost. If you want to purchase German Shepherd puppies that are purebred, you can go online and do some research to find out which dogs are of the highest quality. You can find out what their history is, where they were born, and who their parents are. Once you have this information, you can compare it with the German Shepherd puppies for sale for under dollars. Of course, if you are not going to pay top dollar, you should find a place that is willing to take less. Just because a breeder is willing to take less does not mean the dog is substandard, just that the dog has been taken care of in a loving manner. There are some things that you should know about German Shepherd breeders before purchasing your puppy from them. First of all, the best German Shepherd breeders are willing to spend as much money as you are willing to spend for a purebred German Shepherd puppy. You will also want to find out how much they are charging per week if you are going to be bringing the dog to use at home. The more costly it is for the breeder, the more likely it is that they are charging their customers a low cost. Another great resource for locating German Shepherd puppies for sale is in your local pet store. Oftentimes these stores have a wide variety of German Shepherd, as well as other dogs, for sale. Of course, you need to keep in mind that breeding issues may lead to low production numbers for some of these dogs. This is another reason why you need to check carefully before purchasing any German Shepherd puppy from any store around your area. If you are still interested after checking out the local pet stores, you may want to try a German Shepherd rescue group. Many times these groups will have German Shepherd puppies for sale, or they will know where someone is selling them. Typically, you will find these groups by putting in searches for German Shepherd rescues on the Internet. As long as you are keeping your eyes open and searching for German Shepherd puppies for sale, you should be able to find someone within your vicinity that is selling a dog that needs a good home. You must keep your eyes open when looking at German Shepherd puppies for sale. Just because you saw one that was priced low, does not mean that it is going to be that way when you bring the dog home. You also want to keep in mind that breeders will often sell dogs for prices that are lower than what you would pay at a pet store. If you find the right breeder, however, you should be able to get an excellent puppy for an excellent price. Once you find a good breeder, you can always keep him on your list of breeders to buy from, and then you will never have to worry about where to purchase your German Shepherd puppy from again. German Shepherds are considered the most intelligent dogs on earth with an innate sense of smell. This makes them excellent companions and excellent watchdogs. As long as they are well-taken care of, they are a pleasure to have around the house. Of course, as long as you get proper training from puppyhood, any dog can be trained to do anything within reason. German Shepherds are very protective dogs. This is one of the traits they were specifically bred for. They bark at intruders and they want to guard the family. They can become very jealous when other dogs are introduced into the family. If you have not yet been bitten by a German Shepherd, then you should consider getting bitten by one before getting a puppy. However, most breeders do not allow new dogs into the house until they are fully immunized. Puppies can cost anywhere from two hundred dollars to three thousand dollars for a purebred. You can get German Shepherd puppies for sale for anywhere between two hundred and five hundred dollars. German Shepherd puppies that cost over seven hundred dollars are usually purebred. These puppies will have many health problems and may not be very friendly. German Shepherd puppies for sale should be taken care of properly during the time you get them. If you have the money to spend, there are dog breeders that will ship puppies to your home. Some of these breeders will ship their dogs in crates. If this is not possible for you to do, try to find someone willing to take the dog to your home in a carrier. This is one way to ensure that your puppy does not get hurt while it is being shipped. The best place to find German shepherd puppies for sale is online. You can usually find dog breeders who are selling puppies for prices around fifty dollars to one hundred dollars. You can even find dog breeders who will sell their dogs for prices as low as fifty dollars! To find German shepherd puppies for sale online, you should first search on the Internet for German Shepherd breeders. When you find a breeder that has a list of dogs, you should look at the pictures of the dogs. If you like what you see, you should contact the dog breeder and ask questions about the dogs. You should also ask questions about the breeding program that the breeder has in place for his or her dogs. When you find breeders breed their German shepherd puppies for sale for under a hundred dollars, you may want to ask about the breeding program that these breeders have in place. Breeders who do not offer much in terms of a breeding plan may not be the best people to purchase from. It is best if the breeders you are considering are the only breed for profit, but if they do not, they may be good breeders nonetheless. You should ask the breeder how many dogs he has bred in his lifetime. You should also ask about the mother of the German shepherd puppies for sale. It is always best to choose a breeder that has been in the business for some time. German shepherd puppies for sale under dollars are easy to come by. However, you should not settle for just any dog breeder. You should look for a reputable and established breeder to help you find the right puppy. These are dogs that can be placed with loving families and that can provide you with years of companionship and enjoyment. They are great dogs for any family and with the proper care can become a part of your family for many years to come. Share this:. Life Span Did You Know? The German Shepherd is one of the most versatile, well-recognized, and popular dog breeds in the world. The modern German Shepherd is descended from a family of various German herding dogs. Breed standards were not developed until the late 19th century when Captain Max von Stephanitz, a German cavalry officer, worked with Arthur Meyer and other breeders to develop the ideal German herding dog. Stephanitz and Meyer wrote the breed standard in and the American Kennel Club recognized the German Shepherd as a member of the Herding Group in .Although they were originally bred as herding dogs, they were also bred for versatility, which made the German Shepherd an all-around working dog that could excel in a variety of applications. German Shepherds are one of the common dog breeds employed in K-9 units in both police and military applications. They also make great service dogs and, of course, are still awesome herding dogs and farm dogs! The German Shepherd is a strong-willed and highly intelligent dog. They have a playful, energetic spirit and tend to get along with children, other dogs, and other pets, which makes them a great family companion. A born protector, the German Shepherd will provide a great sense of security for their family while their loving and lively personality will make them fit right in as a companion. German Shepherds are naturally protective and can be wary of strangers at first. A well-socialized German Shepherd will bark to alert you and tends to warm up to strangers once introduced. German Shepherds are dogs that were bred to herd and work. This, plus their high energy, makes them a better fit for homes with fenced yards where they can run. They can adapt well to larger apartments as long as plenty of time is dedicated to ensuring they get enough exercise, mental stimulation, and attention every day. A bored, ignored, or under-exercised German Shepherd can often become a destructive one. They also can be sensitive to their surroundings and large gatherings can be off-putting. With a longer coat, they tend to prefer cooler climates and are sensitive to heat. The German Shepherd is a generally healthy breed, but there are some potential health concerns and good breeding practices make a big difference. Potential health concerns to be aware of in a German Shepherd include hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia , and degenerative myelopathy. Reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable issues to puppies. So, make sure you are asking about the health and genetic history of both parents. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done. As a barrel-chested breed, the German Shepherd is also at risk for bloat. While the German Shepherd is highly intelligent and highly trainable, they are generally not recommended for novice owners. If you are a novice dog owner, enroll in puppy training classes or enlist the help of a professional dog trainer; not just for your dog, but for yourself as well. Training assistance will help you grow in experience and build a strong bond between you and your German Shepherd puppy, which is essential. Also, the GSD has a thirst for training and fulfillment. They get bored easily and especially with repetition, so continued training with your German Shepherd throughout their life will be necessary. German Shepherds have a medium-to-long double coat. They will shed year-round and heavier as seasons change. Brushing a few times a week is usually sufficient; brushing daily is even better and your GSD will likely love you for it. Bathing is occasional on an as-needed basis. Ear checks weekly with careful cleanings as needed can help prevent ear infections. German Shepherds are high-energy working dogs. Not only do they require a lot of daily activity, but they also are a herding breed that was made to run, guard, and observe, so they need a job to do to be happy and healthy. Daily walks plus playtime, time to run, and other activities are usually enough for a GSD, but they will likely be up for more activity if you are. With their versatility and athleticism, you can try a lot of different activities when puppies finish growing and they are cleared for higher-impact things. A fully-grown German Shepherd usually stands inches tall and weighs pounds. German Shepherds generally live for years on average. Corporal Duncan brought him back to the United States and Rin-Tin-Tin became one of the most famous dog actors in history. Featured German Shepherd Article.

I began by taking little Raffles to our local dog-friendly coffee shop, where he could sit on my lap on his blanket with one of his toys while I had a coffee. Of course, the cute puppy attracted plenty of attention, and lots of people stopped to pet him. The next stop was our local squash club bar. There was plenty going on there, with a pool competition in full swing, several vaccinated dogs, and some little kids, too. At first, my puppy was quite shy, hiding his head in my arms and sleeping through most of the excitement. But by his second week with me, Raffles was loving the attention. By the time the little guy could go down on the ground and meet other dogs, he was a confident, friendly puppy who loved to meet and greet people, including children. At first, when we met another dog at the park, my puppy hid behind me or tried to climb up my legs, crying so that I would pick him up. But once a few pups had been encountered, the crying stopped, and all Raffles wanted to do was play with every dog he met! So, Mr. Confident started barking back! I firmly believe that most dogs are made the way they are through the experiences they have had in their formative years. Vandenbark Doodles Finding a Responsible Goldendoodle Breeder With the Doodle star on the rise, these pups often sell for quite a bit of money. You need to keep an eye out for fake advertisements. These people will direct you to send them a hefty deposit for a pup and then quickly disappear. Fraudsters, on the other hand, breed poor-quality dogs in puppy mills. GANA offers breeder accreditation at different levels dependent on the facility in question, demonstrating specific breeding criteria, including reliability in coat, type, health, and temperament. A GANA membership demonstrates quality in a breeding facility but do make sure you double-check that they really are registered before purchasing a pup from them. Ensure Appropriate Health Checks Genetic testing and wellness check-ups are a crucial part of breeding. Then they need to make sure that any puppies born are in the best possible health. It can be pretty tricky for a novice owner to know exactly what to be on the lookout for when determining whether Goldendoodle puppies are healthy or not. However, the breeder should be very open with this information, happy to discuss their dogs with you and provide evidence of their suitability for breeding. For a quick overview of conditions common to Doodles, check out our dedicated article Doodle Health Issues and Diseases. Look For a Health Guarantee One of the best indicators that a breeder has true faith in the quality and health of their puppies is if they provide a health guarantee. This generally says something along the lines that they will issue a full refund if certain genetic health conditions become apparent in one of their puppies within a specific amount of time usually 24 months. The breeder will usually ask you to take your pup for an initial health check with your vet as soon as you bring them home on top of the check they do before the puppy leaves their facility to make sure everything is okay from the get-go. Seek Recommendations from A Trusted Source These days there are plenty of expert sites such as this one offering advice and recommendations based on research and user reviews. This is a good place to start your search for a breeder, but make sure to do some research on top of this, too. Breeder status can change quickly — especially when under new management. Read Online Reviews Online reviews are probably the best place to get up-to-date info on breeders in your local area. Social media is an excellent place for this. Generally, the more reviews a breeder has, the more confident you can be that the reviews are genuine. For more top tips on picking the perfect pup from the very best facility, check out How To Choose A Responsible Breeder. Goldendoodle via imgoldenyoona How To Find A Reputable Goldendoodle Breeder Selecting a breeder is a major decision that everyone who wants to bring a Goldendoodle into their home has to face. You want to choose one carefully as their breeding practices will have an impact on the temperament and health of your Goldendoodle puppy. Start by looking at online sources such as Google reviews, online forums, discussion groups and social media platforms to see what other people are saying about the breeder. Did they have a good experience buying from them? To take your research a bit further, you can ask Goldendoodle organizations and clubs based in your area about their opinion of the breeder you are considering to purchase from. Many Goldendoodle clubs also have their own lists of responsible breeders so they can give you additional recommendations for good Goldendoodle breeders. You may also consider visiting some dog shows and events as they are a good opportunity to meet breeders in person and see their Goldendoodles. You can also ask other dog owners that are showing their Goldendoodles for breeder recommendations. Finally, ask potential breeders for references and consider contacting these people to ask about their experience with the breeder. Reputable breeders always prioritize the well-being of their dogs and strive for positive reviews. You should inquire about temperament and health of the Goldendoodle these people purchased. Use this information to make an informed decision. All reputable Goldendoodle breeders conduct them on their breeding dogs — whether they are breeding from purebred Golden Retrievers for F1 Goldendoodles and Poodles or from Goldendoodles for later generations like F2 Goldendoodles. A stipulates the health testing requirements for Goldendoodles and if the breeder is registered with G. A, you know that the breeding dogs have undergone full health testing. A heart clearance O. Ask to see documentation of these clearances before purchasing from a Goldendoodle breeder. All responsible breeders should be willing to provide any health documentation. They should also be happy to answer any questions you have about their breeding program. However, if you have the opportunity to check out the facilities you should do it. Check that the kennels are clean, that they dogs and puppies have access to fresh water and also that there is not a build up of feces or urine. Comfortable living conditions: The breeder should keep their Goldendoodles, Golden Retrievers and Poodles in comfortable living conditions. They should have large, comfortable kennels or dog beds and also have a decent amount of space to exercise and socialize with other dogs. Healthy breeding dogs and puppies: If you get the opportunity to meet the parents of the Goldendoodle litter you are interested in, make sure they are well-tempered and also healthy. Sometimes the mother will be quite protective of her puppies so she may show signs of aggression. If you are purchasing a puppy online and getting it delivered, ask if the breeder would be happy to video call you or send videos of their Goldendoodle puppies and breeding dogs to you. Ask About Socialization Goldendoodle breeders should begin the socialization process before their puppies are sold. The puppies should be exposed to a wide variety of sounds, experiences, people and places so they can adjust to their new homes and adult life. Nevertheless, they should start exposing them to sounds like household appliances, provide mental stimulation with toys and games and also encourage playtime and interactions with their littermates and family. The most common ones are: Lack of registration: If a Goldendoodle breeder cannot provide registration papers or other relevant documentation, it may be a sign that they are not operating a reputable breeding program. Overbreeding: Think twice about purchasing from a Goldendoodle breeder who always has puppies available or offers an excessive amount of dog breeds. This may suggest that the breeder is overly focused on profit instead of the health and wellbeing of their puppies. Lack of health checks: A reputable Goldendoodle breeder will conduct health clearances on their breeding dogs to ensure they are free of genetic health issues that could be passed on. If a breeder cannot provide documentation of these health checks, it may be a sign that they are not prioritizing health. Further Reading.

The price range for an ideal Bernedoodle is between 1, and 3, Euros. A few breeders began actively crossing Bernese mountain dogs with poodles; however, it is conceivable that the first Bernedoodles were the product of accidental breeding. Purebred dogs are highly standardized in height, weight, color, coat type, temperament, and body structure. Because the Bernedoodle is a hybrid and not a purebred dog, none of the relevant purebred dog registries, like the American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club, accept it. The Bernedoodle also lacks an established breed standard; therefore, there is considerable variety in the appearance and behavior of individual Bernedoodles. Varied breeders may have different conceptions of what constitutes a Bernedoodle, making it difficult to predict what you may receive if you purchase a Bernedoodle puppy. Bernedoodles can be F1 first generation , F2 second generation , F3 third generation , and so on. The puppies produced by an F1 litter are pretty varied. Some may resemble Bernese Mountain Dogs, while others may resemble poodles. Some puppies may resemble a hybrid of the two parent breeds, while others may not resemble either parent breed. In a litter of F1 Bernedoodle puppies, the coat type and amount of shedding can vary significantly. Two F1 Bernedoodles are crossed to produce F2 Bernedoodles. Additionally, F2 Bernedoodles have varied coat types. Some breeders add more poodles to the bloodlines to increase the stability of the coat type. This is known as backcrossing and is represented by a B. Tips When Choosing a Bernedoodle Breeder When choosing a Bernedoodle breeder, it is essential to ask questions and be sure you know what to expect. Here are some tips: Ask if they have the parents and puppies available. If not, ask when they will be available. Ask how much litter they have produced in the past year or a few years. Ask about the kennels where your new addition will live- is it clean? Are there plenty of toys for them to play with? If yes, this should help ensure they have lots of fun while being socialized correctly! The price of a Bernedoodle puppy depends on the breeder, the age of the puppy, and its breed. Conclusion Bernedoodles typically get along great with children and other dogs. They are usually a very affectionate breed and will love to cuddle all day long. Image Credits:. For Stud Introduction The Bernedoodle is a hybrid breed that is full of vigour. He is a lively dog with a sweet disposition. His goofiness and great love for his human companions garnered him countless fans. Since it is relatively a new breed, he is not yet recognised by the Kennel Club. It is a designer breed, a mix of the poodle and the Bernese mountain dog. He was solely created to be a wonderful family companion. Origins of the Bernedoodle The Bernedoodle dog breed is thought to have existed for a long time. However, it was Sherry Rupke of Swissridge Kennels that was recognised as the first breeder to create this mixed breed. Back then, Sherry was separately breeding the golden Labradoodle and the Bernese mountain dog. It saddened her that the Bernese breed has such a short lifespan. So, she thought of making a new breed similar to the golden Labradoodle by using the Bernese. Thus, she cross-bred a poodle with a Bernese mountain dog. Her efforts proved to be fruitful as the first Bernedoodle pups were born in in Canada. Appearance and Grooming How big does a standard size Bernedoodle get? A fully mature standard Bernedoodle may grow approximately 23—29 inches tall. The smaller variation of the breed such as the mini Bernedoodle will have a height of 18—22 inches once he matures. Meanwhile, an adult tiny Bernedoodle will stand about 12—17 inches tall. How much does a Bernedoodle weigh? The weight of an adult standard Bernedoodle is approximately 50—90 lbs. What does a Bernedoodle look like? He has a triangular muzzle. His ears hang down along his head. He has black, oval eyes that are set far apart. His tail is bushy and carried high. He possesses thick, cushioned pads. A Bernedoodle that has a predominant Bernese gene is more likely to be taller and have a more defined, strong, equilateral physique. His coat often varies depending on which parent breed's gene prevails. One that has more Bernese blood will have a straighter coat. The one that acquired more of the poodle genes has more chances of inheriting the curly and wavy coat. His coat is dense, which gives him protection from the heat and insulation during the cold season. Is Bernedoodles hypoallergenic? The Bernedoodle's hypoallergenic coat is one of the things that are sought after by many dog owners. It is worth noting that a Bernedoodle with a curly coat sheds less, thus producing minimal dander. This dog is more fitting for allergic people. The one that possesses a straighter coat moults often, which makes him less hypoallergenic. The one with a straight coat requires at least once a week of brushing. However, since he sheds more, be prepared to brush him frequently during his moulting season. The Bernedoodle dog with curly hair needs more brushing. Brushing must be done at least three to four times a week to prevent mats and remove debris. Be sure to take him to the groomer if his coat grows too long. When it comes to bathing, only do it once he becomes too dirty or smelly. Frequent washing will dry his skin and hair and will cause skin problems. Clip his nails every three to four weeks to prevent splitting or cracking of nails. This poodle mix has droopy ears, so cleaning them often is a must to prevent ear infections. Gum diseases are common in dogs, so incorporate a daily dental routine in his daily grooming. Temperament and Intelligence The Bernedoodle is primarily bred to be a great family dog. He is expected to be extremely friendly and fond of his human companions. He is a Velcro dog that wants to stick close to his loved ones. He makes a good companion dog. Because of his loyalty to his owners, he can be protective of them and be indifferent around strangers. His love for his family has a downside. If left alone for too long, the Bernedoodle may have separation anxiety. It can cause him to develop unwanted behaviours such as incessant barking, digging, and ruining furniture. Therefore, make sure that he has a companion with him throughout the day when the rest of the family is out. The Bernedoodle is great for families with children and other pets. He is a lively dog that thoroughly enjoys fun and games. However, supervision is still recommended as he could be aloof at times and might cause an accident. Adults need to teach younger children how to gently handle dogs, too, to prevent them from hurting the dogs. Early socialisation paired with proper training is crucial. This will greatly help the Bernedoodle to mature into an amiable and sociable dog. Lack of socialisation may lead him to become vicious or timid around people and other animals. When it comes to training, the Bernedoodle is quick-witted and very eager to please his owner. However, he has a slight stubbornness in him, so be patient. Training should be firm and consistent, but also gentle. Rough training will only lead him to defy you. Instead, use positive reinforcement training, such as praising and giving him treats to encourage him even more. Fun Facts The Bernedoodle commonly has an affinity for snow and water. He inherited this trait from his parent breeds. The Bernese mountain dog enjoys the snow, although he may tend to dislike water. Meanwhile, the poodle is known to love swimming. There are various types of Bernedoodle generations. F1 is a first-generation Bernedoodle that is 50 per cent poodle and 50 per cent Bernese mountain dog. An F1b Bernedoodle is 75 per cent poodle and 25 per cent Bernese. An F2 Bernedoodle is a cross-breed between two different F1 Bernedoodles. Breeders do not recommend this as the offspring is likely to have genetic health problems. An F2 Bernedoodle is .The breed is often picked to become a therapy dog because of his friendly nature. He loves to interact with people and be with them. Nutrition and Feeding Protect your Bernedoodle pup from malnutrition and serious health issues by supplying him with a high-quality diet that is rich in protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Since the Bernedoodle is an active and high-energy breed, he will benefit more from protein-rich food. The best dog food will have meat as the primary ingredient. Some protein sources may include fish, chicken, or beef. Make it a habit to divide his meals into two servings. This is to prevent him from gorging on his food. Quickly devouring food can lead to a bloated stomach and weight gain. Health and Exercise An energetic dog that likes to have fun, the Bernedoodle needs at least thirty minutes to an hour of workout. Walking around the neighbourhood, playing fetch, or learning new tricks are fun ways to expend his energy. Since the breed is known to love water, consider taking him to the beach or the lake for a swim. The Bernedoodle is a healthier breed compared to the poodle and the Bernese mountain dog. In fact, he has a lifespan of twelve to eighteen years. Smaller variations of the breed tend to live longer than their larger counterparts. However, there are still a few health issues that you need to look out for, such as: Eye problems such as canine cataracts Hyperadrenocorticism Cost of Ownership What impacts the cost of Bernedoodles? Many factors can affect the price tag. These include: Number of Quality Breeders The breed is fairly new, so there are only a few reputable Bernedoodle breeders. This can hike up the cost of the puppy. New Breed The Bernedoodle breed is in demand, but because the breed is new, puppies come in low quantities. The low supply and high demand can make the puppy costly. Tricoloured ones are found to be the most expensive. Health Tests Responsible breeders always make sure to produce a healthy litter. There may pay expensive fees for health screenings. How much does it cost to raise a Bernedoodle? Bernedoodle Breed Highlights The Bernedoodle enjoys being close to his family and engages in goofy antics that will bring out smiles and laughter. He is good around children and other pets with the help of early socialisation. He responds well to firm and consistent training and positive reinforcement. He needs a minimal amount of exercise throughout the day. Are you sure the Bernedoodle is the best breed for you? Take the Pet Breed Selector Quiz to find your perfect breed match. royal canin german shepherd puppy dry dog food - With a lifespan of around 11 years, dog owners should know about the possible Boxers allergies and skin allergies that this breed faces. Knowing how to address each one will give your dog the best, happiest life. Skin allergies can cause irritation and itchiness, but also possible skin rash and infection. Check their skin for allergic reactions when you notice that your Boxer is scratching, chewing, or licking at their skin or a particular spot. These could come in several forms, such as bumps, rashes, dull skin or fur, and possible wounds from scratching or chewing too much. Other signs of allergens could come in the form of sneezing, watery eyes, rubbing their paws on their face, and unpleasant odors from the skin or fur. When in doubt if your dog is suffering from an allergic reaction, make sure to check their skin and face for irritation. Out of these sources, the most common are: Pollens Molds External parasites, such as ticks, mites, and fleas When these types of allergens are around your dog, they will only affect the skin. If an upset stomach and other internal symptoms occur for external allergens, the situation is in a critical condition. As soon as you find a skin-related reaction, help your pup through their symptoms until the reaction has healed and is over. Buy hypoallergenic dog shampoo and bathe your Boxer. If this helps your Boxer, try bathing once or twice a day to reduce symptoms. If you are unsure what is best for your Boxer, check with your vet. If fleas and ticks are the problems, buy and use treatments for the parasite. You can find these are most stores that have dog sections or check out a pet store. Once the infestation has cleared, bathe your dog using hypoallergenic shampoo. If prescribed by your veterinarian, steroids may also help your Boxer. Only use the prescription for the exact infection and allergic reaction that is for the current issue, and use it to its complete entirety. When possible, adapt your walking routine to avoid areas that could potentially have allergens. This could include exchanging parks for sidewalks and hikes in forest areas for walks around streets. Food Allergies Internal symptoms of allergies are often caused by the diet of your Boxer. It may be hard to pinpoint the exact problem. Here are some tips to help narrow down the possible cause of a food-related allergen: Keep track of changes in diet, such as treats and kibble. When feeding non-dog food such as peanut butter or meat , try small trial samples for any reaction before giving large quantities. Try to keep diet changes to a minimum. If you have to change brands or types of kibble, check with your vet or move to a similar option. Make small food changes for a few weeks and watch for allergic reactions. Give your Boxer their normal dog food with a bit of the new brand, then increase to the new brand once you know the dog food is safe for your pup. Occasionally, your Boxer may also eat something without you knowing. When this happens and an allergic reaction occurs, it may be difficult to find the source. Watch your dog after this happens and see if they eat anything outside or out of their usual range. Food allergies for dogs are incredibly common and is commonly caused because of low-quality filler used in commercial dog food. Food Allergy Treatments For Boxers When addressing food allergens, there are steps to take to help both reduce symptoms and find the possible cause of the reaction. To help your Boxer with or find out if they have any food allergens, follow these steps: Stop all treats, current kibble, non-dog foods, and fresh foods. Begin a food trial. Food trials should last for a minimum of eight weeks of a pure and new diet. This new diet should consist of protein and carbs that are without any additional foods. Some examples are fish and potato, rabbit and peas, venison and potato. You can always check with a veterinarian for the best practices when doing a food trial for your specific Boxer. After eight weeks, some dog parents may not move back to their original food. Find other kibble or dog food that excludes any food item that causes irritation and discomfort. When to Contact the Veterinarian If the problem persists after all options and treatments fail, contact your vet for an appointment. More on Dog Knowledge:. Overview Allergies seen with canines is a rather common yet troubling issue. Some Boxers can have minimal symptoms, but others really suffer from all sorts of issues, with skin and coat problems at the top of that list, followed by gastrointestinal distress. While solving allergies can be a bit tricky and does take some time and effort, you may be able to see drastic improvement if all applicable guidelines are followed. In some cases, this can be done from home; but, there are instances when your Boxer will need professional veterinary care for both narrowing down the triggers and for proper treatment. Types of Allergies - Signs and Treatment Your Boxer, if suffering from allergies, may show extreme signs of despair. These can be broken down into 3 categories and they each have their own most common triggers: 1. External: Your Boxer's skin may show a reaction. This can range from slight itching to very bothersome symptoms such as relentless itching that will cause your dog to scratch until he loses fur. Sores can develop; these can quickly become infected. Fur loss may also occur directly from the allergen itself. Fleas on a dog who is allergic to the saliva of a flea will cause terrible itching and lead to serious symptoms Treatment - Fleas are not very hard to get rid of if you use a 3 punch plan. Treat you dog with flea medication to get rid of fleas, both adult and larvae Treat your entire home with flea bombs Use a soothing medication on your dog to begin the healing process of sores and lesions. Deep sores or lesions may need the help of an antibiotic medication, which can be given to you by your dog's veterinarian. Chemicals - A Boxer may have a reaction to the cleaning solution on your carpeting, the detergent used to clean your bed sheets or their dog bed, the shampoo that is used to groom them.Treatment - A dog owner must experiment to determine the cause. Take away 1 element at a time. Since the symptoms can linger for a week or more, allow at least 7 days to see if the element taken out of the picture reduces symptoms. If so, find a permanent alternative. Any deep sores may need an antibiotic treatment, prescribed by your dog's veterinarian. It is not normal for a dog to have either of these symptoms, at any time. If your dog is getting sick in this way, it is best to have them checked out by their veterinarian. Most likely, the cause will be something that was ingested. This is a serious condition that can quickly cause weight loss, malnutrition and dehydration to your Boxer dog. Secondary symptoms such as itching and respiratory issues can develop as well. The Boxer breed is especially sensitive to dog food with a high grain content, particularly those including corn or wheat. Treatment - The process of determining the cause of your dog's allergy may take months. Currently, clinical testing is very unreliable for canines. Elimination testing, done at home, is the common way to help your dog. Each day is a step toward recovery. If the dog is given even a small amount of food that was previously in his or her meals, the test will be corrupted and an owner must begin again from the beginning. Your veterinarian may prescribe a hypo-allergenic dog food or you may offer a simple homemade diet of plain, well cooked white chicken breast and plain, white rice. Note: There is no need to change the daily vitamin and supplemen t; though changing heart worm medication may be needed as some dogs are allergic to chewables. Starting off with simple home cooking will help you determine the trigger. And in some cases, you will find that your dog is fine with all foods because it was the artificial coloring, chemical preservatives or artificial flavorings in commercial food that was causing the reaction. After your Boxer is fed this basic meal of chicken and rice for 2 weeks, every week or 2 a food element is added, one customarily found in normal food or treats. For example, you may want to begin with sweet potatoes mixed in. If your Boxer seems fine, add green beans the following week and so on. Keeping this strict diet for your Boxer and keeping a close eye on his reaction will show you what specific food ingredient your dog is allergic to. Inhaled: There will be respiratory symptoms that include coughing, sneezing, wheezing and sometimes choking sounds. This can range from mild to quite severe. Dogs with this type of allergic response can sometimes literally be struggling to be able to breathe. In many cases, this will be alongside quite severe itching. This may lead to hot spots areas of bright red skin with intense itching. A Boxer may have such an uncontrollable urge to ease the itch that he or she licks, bite or scratches excessively and to the point of ripping out fur. These types of reactions more often strike female Boxers and begin to occur between the ages of years old. However, a Boxer of either gender may have this at any age. Not only can this cause an allergic reaction in dogs, it is proven to cause cancer. Treatment - For the sake of your Boxer's health, all smoking should be done outside. Limiting smoking to 1 room is not very helpful, as natural air currents in your home will quickly spread the smoke to the rest of the home. Trees, Weeds, Pollen and Other - Just as a human may be have seasonal allergies, so may a dog. A Boxer can be allergic to outside elements each spring and fall or all year long. Indoor triggers such as dust mites tiny microscopic bugs , can be present indefinitely if they are not purposefully eliminated. The entire home must be dusted with a product that actually lifts the dust away and does not simply send it scattering into the air. Carpeting must have a deep steam cleaning, usually done best by a professional. This type of over haul cleaning should be done every months. Often, once the allergy is under control, doses can be lowered in maintenance mode. Additional Treatment For any of the allergies discussed above, while you are working to eliminate the cause or limit exposure, there are supplements and medications for Boxer dog allergies that can start to relieve symptoms. Fatty acids. Omega fatty acids, given as a supplement will get your dog on the road to recovery. This treatment must be consistent and can take months to show full affect Daily baths. These should be given with a very gentle hypo-allergenic dog shampoo. This will help get rid of the elements from the fur and skin and continuing baths will help keep them away. Prescribed medication. Your dog's veterinarian will decide which medication is best for your Boxer. These may include: - Anti-Inflammatory medication - To help with itching and swelling - Antihistamines - A quick way to help your dog, but may cause your Boxer to be quite drowsy - Steroids - A last attempt if other medications do not work well - Antibiotics - To help heal infected sores and lesions caused by non-stop scratching, gnawing and biting - Allergy shots for your Boxer - To slowly try and make the immune system non-sensitive to the allergen. Owner Surrender Feeding Feeding your dog a high quality diet is one of the most important things you can do to ensure that they live a long and healthy life. There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to dog food and it is important to do your research, because not all dog food is equal. There are a lot of bad foods out there. You have two main choices when it comes to feeding your boxer. You can homecook for your boxer or feed a commercial diet dry kibble or canned food. If you decide to homecook for your dog, please do research on the meals that you prepare to ensure that your boxer is receiving everything that they need for a complete and balanced diet. Try to avoid exotic ingredients. Feeding a commercial diet is the most common choice. Unfortunately, there is no good answer. Every dog is different, and there is no perfect food that works for all dogs. You will have to do some research, and try some different brands before you find the food that is right for your dog. Most quality dog foods are not sold in supermarkets, or even in large chain pet stores although they do usually carry at least one or two premium brands. The best place to shop for dog food is at your local feed store, or pet supply shop. And don't worry. The premium brands usually work out to be the same price, or even cheaper than the big name brands! If you decide to feed your boxer a commercial kibble, it is important that you understand how to read and interpret ingredient labels so that you know how to choose a quality food. Ingredients are listed by weight, similar to the ingredients on human food. Therefore the first ingredients are what make up the majority of the food. Dogs are omnivores and need vegetables in their diets, but you want the first ingredients to be some form of meat. Beware the common practice of "Ingredient Splitting" This is where one ingredient is broken up and listed separately in the list, so that it appears like there is less of it in the food. For example, if the ingredients list reads "Chicken meal, Rice, Rice Bran" then there is a good chance that there is actually more rice in the food than chicken, because rice and rice bran are both rice. These ingredients can be fillers that provide little nutritional value for your dog and are sometimes used because they are cheap and easy for a dog food company to obtain. Wheat and corn are two of the biggest causes of food allergies and because boxers as a breed are prone to food allergies, it is especially important for you to be vigilant about what feed your boxer. If your dog doesn't like the food, try a different protein source. Common proteins are beef, chicken, lamb, and salmon. Your dog might like one flavor better than another or have an easier time digesting certain foods. As you start reading dog food labels, you will see meat ingredients listed in three different ways. Meat, Meat by-products and Meat meal. By-products are generally a very low quality ingredient. They are all of the bits of the animal that are leftover after processing for human consumption. Avoid foods that contain by-products. Meat Meal is actually the best term to see. It is the same as Meat, but with the water removed. Because the water must be removed in order to make kibble, if you see an ingredient listed as just meat, it should actually be further down in the ingredient list than it is. Another important thing to look for is that all meat ingredients should be identified as coming from a specific animal. For example, you want to see chicken meal, not poultry meal, or meat meal. If the specific animal is not identified it is because the ingredient is of such low quality that the producer either could not, or did not want to identify what animal the ingredient came from. Certain known carcinogens are allowed to be used in dog food. Puppy Food Many of the puppy foods available today are largely marketing gimmicks. Your puppy has the same basic nutritional needs as that of a grown dog, so as long as you're feeding a high quality dog food, and feeding the right amount according to the puppy guidelines printed on the bag, then your puppy should be getting everything that he or she needs. One important thing to look at is the amount of protein in the food. Higher protein levels can cause your boxers musculoskeletal system to develop too quickly, which can cause bone and joint problems later in life. Treats Remember that treats are just as much a part of your dogs diet as the food they eat every day. If you are purchasing dog biscuits, make sure to review the ingredient list using the same guidelines explained above. There are actually a lot of human foods you can use as treats that are very healthy for dogs. Raw fruits and veggies, cheese, boiled chicken and natural peanut butter are all good. A great treat to keep your dog occupied for a while is a Kong toy it is a red rubber cone shaped toy that is hollow and can be stuffed with treats filled with any combination of peanut butter, dog food, plain yogurt and banana. Freeze it, and give it to your boxer whenever you want an hour of peace. They will sit quietly with it till they have licked it clean. Digestion Tips If your boxer has gas and he will! It will help. If your boxer has loose stools, add a spoonful of plain canned pumpkin not pumpkin pie filling! Between January 1st and April 30th canine reports affected were received by the FDA with being reported between December 1st and April 30th .An echocardiogram ultrasound of the heart is required to definitively diagnose DCM. The reports include a thorough medical history including echocardiogram results and a detailed history of the diet being fed. DCM is a disease of the heart which results in the decreased ability to pump blood throughout the body due to weakened contractions. As the disease progresses the heart becomes enlarged and it can lead to congestive heart failure CHF. This is a silent disease where there may be no symptoms early on. There are certain breeds that are genetically predisposed which include Boxers, Dobermans, Great Danes, and Cocker Spaniels. Genetic DCM is typically progressive with no cure and has a poor prognosis. Nutritional DCM, depending on when it is diagnosed, may be curative with medications, supplementation, and a diet change. In the early stages there may not be any symptoms but it typically starts with a noticeable exercise intolerance. Boxers are already a high-risk breed for developing heart disease. In the FDA report boxers rank 10 out of 19 breeds listed. At this time there is still a lot of unknown, however DCM is a serious disease that can be fatal and everyone needs to be aware of it. The FDA as well as other institutes are continuing to research and investigate into the correlation between diets and ingredients. If you are currently feeding one of the brands listed in the report the best thing to do is to contact your veterinarian to discuss their recommendations regarding a diet change. You can also seek a referral to a veterinary cardiologist or nutritionist from your veterinarian. Members include veterinarians, board-certified veterinary nutritionists and cardiologists as well as members who have experienced nutritional DCM firsthand with their own pets. We recommend you start by consulting your veterinarian. Secondly, look for a manufacturer which employs a full-time board certified ACVN veterinary diplomate. The Pet Nutrition Alliance PNA is a group of board certified veterinary nutritionists, veterinarians, veterinary technician specialists and registered veterinary technicians who promote the importance of nutrition in pets worldwide. The PNA recently conducted a survey asking manufacturers the following questions: Are they a contract manufacturer who outsources production of their food to other manufacturers or plants. Do they have nutritional experts on staff, and if so, what are their titles? ACVN diplomates, veterinary nutritionists, etc. Do they own their own manufacturing plants? Do they provide nutritional information? Do they do a minimum of six months of trials on all foods? See where your brand ranks in the survey by visiting: www. December 18, Fact Checked People with pet allergies are not allergic to the animals themselves, but rather the dander that they shed. Although their coat requires minimal canine grooming , Boxers are not considered a hypoallergenic dog breed. They are clean dogs that will typically groom themselves, but can still shed a significant amount and require some regular brushing. Unfortunately, this breed is not recommended for those who suffer from animal allergies. Boxers also have drooping jowls and produce a lot of saliva, which is a major cause of pet allergies. Since Boxers are known to be self-groomers, their saliva gets onto their fur in large quantities. The amount of shedding depends on the time of year and where they live but is usually a moderate amount. Boxers typically shed twice per year, in the spring and in the fall, but will also shed lightly throughout all seasons. Some bull breeds, including Bull Terriers , have a very short coat and dry mouth, which makes them a better choice than Boxers for those with asthma or animal allergies. Since dry skin is more prone to flaking, a gel dog shampoo with Vitamin E and aloe is recommended to prevent excess dander. There are several dog breeds that are considered hypoallergenic or low-allergen dogs as they have drier mouths and produce less irritating dander. These breeds usually have very curly hair or less fur than other breeds and generally shed less dander. As far as dogs go, there is not much that can compare with the incredible combination that a Boxer provides. Boxers have a very specific temperament, and as a result, it is hard to say that there is another dog similar enough to a boxer that is also hypoallergenic. The good news about Boxers is this: while they are not hypoallergenic, they are allergy retardant. In other words, because a Boxer is of the short hair variety, even someone who is allergic to dogs could potentially be fine living with a boxer. Dogs, just like humans, have a very specific genetic makeup and even dogs from the same litter, vary drastically with how much they shed. While Boxers as a breed tend to shed far less than other dogs, owning a Boxer as someone with a dog allergy would still be a roll of the dice. Are there any crossbreeds that are hypoallergenic? As of , the most popular hypoallergenic crossbreeds were the Golden Doodle and the Labradoodle, both a mixture of a Standard Poodle. The amazing part about these designer dogs is that the hypoallergenic genes are dominant, meaning that the crossbreed by default is hypoallergenic as well! By crossbreeding the hypoallergenic nature of a Poodle with other dog breeds, there are new ways for dog lovers to have the dog of their dreams! So Is there a Boxerdoodle!? This amazing Boxer mix is the most allergy-friendly version of a boxer you will find. Be aware though, each litter varies in size, color, and physical appearance, and you are definitely not getting a full-fledged Boxer. What you potentially lose in classic Boxer looks, you will more than makeup for in the sweet Boxer temperament that remains as part of these wonderful hypoallergenic pets. The Boxerdoodle still looks very similar to the purebred Boxer, with some key differences. First, the Boxerdoodle is often much smaller in size than a normal Boxer. When dealing with designer dogs, the parents have a lot to do with how the pups will turn out, and even then there are no guarantees. The important thing is to rejoice at the fact that even Boxer lovers who suffer from severe dog allergies now have hope to find a Boxerdoodle to love. When looking for a Boxerdoodle, always make sure to check your local animal shelters first. Even if there are no Boxerdoodles available in your area, there may be another hypoallergenic dog who you could give a home to. Additionally, the magic of the internet makes it easy to adopt dogs from all over the country. This means that even if you are dead set on a Boxerdoodle and no other dog breeds, you could find a rescue in the next state over! While Boxers themselves may not be fully hypoallergenic, it is nice to know that there are options available for Boxer lovers who suffer from dog allergies. As far as being an irritant to allergies, Boxers do fall closer to the hypoallergenic side of things, but their dander can still produce a doozy of an allergic reaction. Boxers are a wonderful breed with so much to offer, unfortunately being allergy-friendly is not one of those attributes. Luckily the Boxerdoodle is a real thing and offers a whole new world of possibilities for those with dog allergies to get their Boxer fix! Whether your next dog is a Boxer, a Boxerdoodle, or something completely different, it is important to ensure that they have a healthy and happy lifestyle. Boxers and Boxerdoodles, for that matter, need a healthy diet that is rich in the right fats, proteins, and the correct carbohydrates. Give your Boxer the best and ensure they are living their best life!
