Life Span Did You Know? The Boxer is one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. It has been recognized by the AKC since .Although the Boxer dog breed originated in Germany, their ancient ancestry can be traced back to the Assyrian empire war dogs of BC. The modern Boxer breed we know and love today was originally developed in Germany in the late s. English-bred Bulldogs and the Bullenbesiier were crossed to create an energetic and agile hunting dog to chase wild game. The Boxer is a popular family companion and a versatile working dog. As a member of the Working Group, Boxers can be found competing in dog sports like agility, obedience, and herding. They also make great service and assistance dogs, as well as therapy dogs, and can be found working as search and rescue dogs, drug detection dogs, police dogs, and military dogs. The Boxer is a muscular and energetic dog that tends to have a happy, friendly disposition. They bond closely with their families and tend to get along well with children and other dogs. They can even do well with other pets despite their high prey drive if they are socialized and trained with them. As long as they are well-socialized, Boxers are generally upbeat, playful, and friendly. Although they have a natural instinct to protect their family from unwanted visitors, they do tend to warm up once introduced and are happy to make a new friend. They can be prone to barking a lot if you do not work on socialization and training your dog to stop barking early on. Boxers can be highly adaptable dogs. Although they have a lot of energy and are better suited to homes with yards where they can run, they can adapt to apartment living as long as they get the daily exercise, attention, and mental stimulation they need. As with any non-arctic dog breed, they are sensitive to very cold temperatures. Boxers are also a brachycephalic breed, which means they are even more sensitive to heat than other dogs. A Boxer is also one of the most affectionate dog breeds. Because they bond so closely with their families and get bored easily, they should not be left alone for long periods of time. Potential health conditions to be aware of in a Boxer include hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, thyroid issues , and heart conditions like aortic stenosis and cardiomyopathy. Good breeding practices make a big difference and reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable issues to puppies. So, make sure you are asking the breeder about the health and genetic history of the parents and about any health tests that have been done. Boxers are intelligent dogs that are eager to please their owners. Despite their energetic personality, they are one of the best dog breeds for first-time owners and are highly trainable dogs. They tend to excel at almost any task put before them! Because of their open, friendly nature and high energy, they have a tendency to jump up at people in excitement and playfulness. Since they grow into powerful dogs, you will want to make sure you train your dog not to jump up. Boxers have smooth and short coats that will shed a little year-round and require minimal grooming. A brush-down once or twice a week and the occasional bath as needed will keep their short coat healthy and looking great. Nail trims once or twice a month are usually enough to keep nails from growing too long. Checking ears weekly and carefully cleaning as needed can help prevent ear infections. Checking and wiping their facial wrinkles weekly or a few times a week if your dog is prone to getting into things can help keep their wrinkles clean and free of irritation. Dental diseases, like gum disease, are the most common health issues in older dogs because dental care is often overlooked; and, it can lead to other serious health issues. Brushing daily, plus cleanings at the vet when needed, is ideal. The Boxer is a high-energy dog breed that needs plenty of daily exercise to stay happy and healthy. Due to their high prey drive and urge to chase, they should only be let off-leash in secure areas. Boxers tend to get bored with repetition, are excellent problem solvers, and are naturally exuberant. A fully-grown Boxer usually stands inches tall at the shoulder and weighs pounds. Boxers generally live years on average. In Germany, the Boxer was one of the first dog breeds chosen for police training. Featured Boxer Article. White Boxer Dogs Overview Regrettably, some people still believe that white Boxer dogs or puppies are the least favorable of the breed. Some will argue that those dogs born white are more prone to illness or more aggressive than the other more traditionally colored dogs of the breed. Some think that they have a different set of personality traits and will show different behavior than more traditionally colored dogs. For those of us who are lucky enough to love a white Boxer puppy. This simply could not be further from the truth. There is a lot of false information that can easily be found. So, let's clear this up by looking at the facts. While each dog is an individual and has his or her own personalty quirks, in general, white Boxer dogs will behave exactly like most other more traditionally colored pups and dogs. There is no set change in disposition, aggressiveness or any other trait. Most, if not all Boxers are comical, fun loving and expressive animals with a strong craving to please their owners. They are excellent companions, family pets and enjoy the company of their humans. A white Boxer dog is not automatically ill or blind or has eye issues. In some cases, color can go back as far as 5 generations. Both of the parents must carry the genetic code white. In every way the puppy is the same as all of its siblings…with all the liveliness, traits, and spirit that make them Boxers. A white Boxer is not an albino. Albinos entirely lack pigment. Any dog breed will infrequently have an albino…although it is very rare. When a dog is an albino there is no colored pigmentation anywhere on the dog…They have pink eyes, and a complete lack of color anywhere on the body. Most white Boxer dogs have some spots on their skin which can be seen due to their short coats and have some markings around their nose and mouth. Some have colored markings in their coat such as brown spots around an eye or on the back, etc. They will have pigment in their eyes, this alone rules out albinism as the cause of their whiteness. Approximately one in four puppies are white either all white or majorly white. Therefore, this is not a rare color. Because of this limitation, white Boxer dogs do not meet the breed standard for show conformation. Many breeders and handlers hope that this changes. White Boxers, as beautiful as they are, may someday be accepted for conformation in AKC show events. There are breeders and people in the general public who feel that white Boxer dogs are inferior to fawn or brindled colored Boxers and have more health problems. .Recently, there has been more studies to either substantiate or dissuade the claims that white Boxers are more prone to problems than standard colors. The only claims that seem to have merit are: They are more likely to sunburn And the white Boxer like many other breeds with similar loss of pigment are more prone to deafness in one or both ears. They are not rare -Approximately 25 percent of all boxers born are white. They are not albinos — They have colored eyes, colored touch, inside of the ears, belly and bottom of the paws. They can sunburn easy — an owner should use human sunscreen on their dog if they are to be outside for more than 30 minutes — And remember that the UV sun rays CAN penetrate through clouds, so it is better to be safe than sorry. They can be deaf and this is one of the biggest reasons why most breeders do not purposefully breed for the white color. Blindness is a bit more common with the white Boxer. Some people believe that white Boxers develop cancer more easily than the more standard colored dogs ; however this is still up for debate and has not been proven. The AKC will deny registration for any puppies born to a registered white Boxer. They have the same temperament and personality as other Boxers. .They are happy, loyal, social, friendly dogs when raised in a loving, appropriate home. The white Boxer may have pigmented patches around the eyes and ears and other limited points on the body, but the Check has much more pigment and could be called piebald .A flashy Boxer is one who carries one dose of the gene. An albino Boxer dog would have no color on the skin as well; the eye rims, nose, bottom of the paw pads , and lips would be pink. In addition, most albino dogs have very light eyes. White Boxers, on the other hand, will have some skin pigmentation. Typically, the nose is black, as are the lips. Eye rims and paw pads can be black. Please note that very young Boxer puppies often have pink noses. So, if you have an all white Boxer newborn puppy and the nose is pink, this is not an indication of abinism. Over the of the next few weeks, nose color should come in. Final nose coloring may be fully black or spotted. Many wonder if a Boxer puppy is born deaf or becomes deaf. With all puppies, the ear canal stays closed and will open between days 10 and .A white Boxer - if he is to be deaf - will progressively lose his hearing. The cause of the deafness connected with the white color is the absence of pigment cells in the inner ear resulting in a loss of sensory hair cells at about 6 - 8 weeks of age. For this reason, potential puppy buyers may want to wait until the 10 week old mark, at which time it should be clear as to whether or not the Boxer has his hearing. The shortage or absence of pigment cells is also the cause of the white coat and un-pigmented third eyelids called the haw. In general the more pigment in the coat the lower will be the risk of deafness, but all predominantly white dogs are at risk of being deaf, not just the Boxer breed. Please note however that not all white dogs are white because of a lack of pigment cells. Some breeds such as the West Highlands and Poodles just have extremely diluted pigmentation; they have a full complement of pigment cells, so are not at risk of being deaf. There are of course many other causes of deafness in dogs. Not all are attributable to the absence of pigment cells. And deafness can be caused by external factors too. Her coat may be short, but she sheds a fair amount, a trait inherited from both parents. Bathing can also help with excessive shedding. She may have little legs, but she sure knows how to use them! To keep her happy you should also plan activities that stimulate her agile brain while helping her to get lots of exercises; think outdoor ball games and squeaky toys are thrown around the living room. As already mentioned, she has two smart and quick-to-learn parents. Her natural herding nature means she will want to be the boss, though. You will need to be firm and fair, establishing yourself as the pack leader and Alpha from the start. She can be a great guard dog to watch over your home Her strong character and fearless streak are huge assets if you want your pet to also keep your home safe and sound. She can assess situations quickly and react appropriately. You will never have to question her loyalty. Her deep, gruff bark is another plus point when it comes to alerting you to danger and scaring off intruders. Introduce Corgi Shepherd puppies to children and they will grow up well socialized and happy to have little people to play with. You need to be careful with her portion control and feed her good quality food at set times throughout the day. Having a feeding schedule helps to manage her hunger and expectations. Your Shepherd Corgi cross puppy needs around one and a half cups of dry dog food each day. A fully-grown Corman Shepherd needs between two and three cups of dry food each day split between two servings. Limit the number of treats you feed your dog and choose healthy snacks and tidbits for those times when you really want to reward your doggie friend. She will definitely let you know when she wants anything, treats and food included! Joint dysplasia Joint dysplasia is painful, and it makes walking difficult. Such back problems are painful and usually significantly affect mobility. If left untreated, the condition will worsen. Cataracts and other eye problems If your dog starts bumping into things regularly or showing other signs of vision problems, take her to the vet. While there are some sight problems that will sadly stay with your dog, it is possible to correct others if caught early. Make sure you buy your puppy from a reputable breeder. Alternatively, look at local dog shelters and give a home to a dog in need. You should plan to spend around 1, USD on your dog each year. She has many doggie cousins, big and small Both the Corgi and the German Shepherd are popular dogs to crossbreed with other dog types. The Corman Shepherd has many relatives of all sizes, most of which look and act nothing like her. I would strongly recommend doing your homework before buying any dog and comparing the different breeds and crossbreeds to make sure that you fit the perfect dog for you. For example, the German Shepherd Pomeranian Mix is much fluffier and rarer than the Corman Shepherd and the also rare German Shepherd Dachshund Mix has a similar stubborn character but can be much more into hunting than herding. Intelligent, curious, and friendly, the Australian Shepherd Corgi Mix sometimes incorrectly spelled as a Shephard Mix is a bit better if you have other animals in the house. With brains as well as energy, you need the time to exercise and play, as well as the time to groom her and vacuum. About Alexandra Animalso I was raised to be a dog person. My first Shepherd grew up as I did and wanted to be where I was at all times. I got my second dog as a 16th birthday present, and her loyalty for me was just as strong as my first. I hope that my contribution to Animalso will help others find dogs who give them that same unconditional love. What do you call a German Shepherd Corgi mix? A German Shepherd Corgi Mix can be called a variety of different names. This cross breed is commonly called a Corman Shepherd. They were established by a former German captain called Max von Stephanitz in the s. Thanks to his careful selection and breeding, the German Shepherd has become renowned as a working dog. Von Stephanitz designed the German Shepherd to be an athletic and powerful dog with a noble and loyal character. German Shepherds are often used by the police and the military, while they were the first blind eye dogs in the USA. There are couple of ways to identify the different Corgi types: Pembrokes tend to have docked tails but Cardigans will have bushy, fox-like tails. Pembrokes have pointed ears but Cardigans have round ears. Corgis were used to herd animals on farms. Some members of the breed have retained the herding tendency, which is something that dog owners will need to keep an eye out for. A pup could inherit the traits of either parent. Therefore, to get an understanding of the potential size range of a German Shepherd Corgi Mix, we need to look at the size of each parent. Both Corgi varieties can grow to a height between 10 and 12 inches and weigh around 25 and 38 pounds. While they might look small, Corgi and German Shepherd Corgi Mixes are still considered medium-sized dogs. A German Shepherd Corgi tend to have almond shaped eyes that are brown in color. However, other eye colors are a possibility. According to The Happy Puppy Site , a Corman Shepherd can inherit the facial features of either parent but the offspring should have an alert and intelligent expression. German Shepherd Corgi personality The German Shepherd are often used as guard dogs due to their alert, loyal and watchful nature. Corgis have playful personalities with a strong work ethic, resulting from their days as herders on farms. You can expect a German Shepherd Corgi mix to be an energetic dog that will thrive as a companion within a family setting. A Corman Shepherd should be relatively easy to train given the intelligence levels of both parents. However, we recommend puppy training and socialisation classes from a young age to have a solid platform to build upon. German Shepherd Corgi exercise requirements German Shepherd Corgi dogs will need quite a bit of exercise. The AKC describe German Shepherds as an active and athletic breed that requires a lot of exercise for their mental and physical health. They go on to state that Corgi are also in need of regular exercise to deplete their energy levels. Are Corgi Shepherd Mixes hypoallergenic? German Shepherd Corgi shedding If you decide a German Shepherd Corgi Mix is the right dog for you, be prepared for a moderate to high amount of shedding. The German Shepherd has a double coat — the inner coat will blow out twice a year at the changing of the seasons. German Shepherd Corgi lifespan To get an idea of the average lifespan of a Corgi Shepherd Mix, we need to look at the life expectancy of each parent. German Shepherds live to around the age between 9 and 13, while Corgis can reach the ripe age of .So we can deduce a German Shepherd Corgi Mix could live to between 10 and 14 years. How much is Corgi Shepherd Mix? However, we urge our readers to buy directly from an established and reputable breeder rather than online or through third parties. Corgi Shepherd Mix breeders and puppies We were unable to find any dedicated Corgi Shepherd Mix breeders in our research for this article. Alternatively, there are a number of German Shepherd and Corgi rescue organisations that might be able to point you in the right direction. In our experience, dog owners on the photo-sharing platform are usually receptive and helpful when asked about their pups. Although a playful pup sounds endearing, consider how many games of fetch or tag you want to play each day, and whether you have kids or other dogs who can stand in as playmates for the dog. Click here for more information on this characteristic Corman Shepherd Highlights Corman Shepherds are mixed breed dogs. They are not purebreds like their Corgi and German Shepherd Dog parents. The main colors of Corman Shepherds are gold, white, brown and black. Rarely will you find a solid-colored Corman Shepherd; their coats are often a blend of two or more colors. Your Corman Shepherd will likely have blowing seasons to shed their seasonal coats. Brush your Corman Shepherd on a daily basis to keep fur tumbleweeds from taking over your home. The Corman Shepherd is a very friendly dog, and many enthusiasts love how well they interact with the children in their families. They can, however, be very protective and aloof around strangers or new pets. You may find that your Corman Shepherd tries to herd you or other humans. They can be somewhat stubborn, so it is good to curb this type of behavior early on with the proper training. Corman Shepherds have high energy levels. Make sure your dog gets at least one good half-hour- to hour-long walk per day with a few good, active play sessions and shorter walks mixed in. Corman Shepherds are also highly intelligent, which means they can get bored easily. Be sure to provide your Corman Shepherd mixed breed dog plenty of mental stimulation, or they may engage in destructive or unwanted behaviors. Corman Shepherd History The Corman Shepherd dog breed may have existed naturally over the years, but designer breeders started intentionally mixing Corgis and German Shepherd Dogs in the early s, likely in North America. Breeders may have wanted to combine the charm of the Corgi with the protectiveness of a German Shepherd Dog. They continued to create Corman Shepherds as demand for the mixed breed pups climbed. Even though the Corman Shepherd breed got its start as a designer breed, some have ended up in shelters or in the care of rescue groups. Consider adoption if you decide this is the breed for you. Check your local shelters, look up Corman Shepherd rescues, or check with breed-specific German Shepherd or Corgi rescues, as they sometimes take in mixed breed dogs and find homes for them. Corman Shepherd Size Since the Corman Shepherd is a relatively new mixed breed, there are few standards when it comes to size. That said, as a mix between German Shepherd and Corgi parents, you can expect Corman Shepherds to be on the medium to large side. Most weigh in anywhere between 20 to 70 pounds and range in height from twelve to 15 inches at the shoulder. However, many can be smaller or larger. Corman Shepherd Personality Many Corman Shepherd enthusiasts describe their mixed breed dog as a spunky, loving pup who has a lot of energy to burn. Corgis are a herding breed, so you may find that your Corman Shepherd tries to herd you or other humans wherever they go! Thanks to the German Shepherd in them, Corman Shepherds can also be a very protective breed. This makes the Corman Shepherd an ideal companion for someone living alone who wants their own personal alert system, or with a family who is looking for a little added protection. This guarding instinct could turn possessive if not checked, so be sure to set boundaries with your Corman Shepherd as soon as possible. Be sure to provide your Corman Shepherd mixed breed dog plenty of mental stimulation, be in the form of some active time with kids in the backyard or fun puzzle toys. While Corman Shepherds can get attached to one particular person, they also make incredible family pets. As long as they are properly socialized, the Corman Shepherd is friendly enough to get along with just about anyone. While most are generally healthy, some may be prone to a few health issues, which is why it is important to maintain good care and regular veterinary checkups. Some of the more common health problems Corman Shepherds suffer from include:. Video: German Shepherd Corgi Mix in Playing Mood Temperament and Personality These dogs are way too smart and intelligent and would go to any extent to please their owners. In fact, very much like their German shepherd parents, they are loyal, dedicated and protective of their family members. This trait, of course, makes them a commendable watch and guard dog as well. Corman Shepherds are active and energetic with an overall sweet temperament, which also makes them good with kids, other pets, and humans. They are obedient, though but need your care and attention. If you leave it alone regularly for extended periods of time, the result might not be too satisfying, as the dog grows up. Less care might make the dog aggressive. Care Exercise As an active breed, they need regular exercise schedules. Take it out at least once a day for a half-an-hour walk or a jog. It is fond of you. So your active participation with it in an evening game will also keep it satisfied and prevent any psychological issues in future. Grooming The Corman Shepherds have a dense coat, and they shed. So, a regular brushing, at least five days a week, is required to discard dead hair, as well as for keeping the coat in good shape and maintaining its majestic look. Bathe them if needed. They also grow nails quite quickly and develop pain while walking when they grow long. Make sure you clip them whenever necessary. Health Problems These are normally healthy, robust animals, carrying no breed specific concerns. But remember, their parents do suffer from certain issues like obesity, bloating, back and joint pains, eye problems, allergies, and even cancer. So, to ward off possibilities of genetically transmitted diseases, you might want to make an appointment with a good vet at least once a year. Teach your dog to stay alone from time to time. Begin with 10 minutes. Leave your house to go to the nearest shop to buy something. Increase the time gradually to 20 and then 40 and then an hour. To prevent your dog from becoming too possessive about you, give it treats and attention when a new person or a fellow pet, or even your child is around. Give it a treat or two or ask the person for the same , give it a couple of pats, or let it sit close to you. Such actions would help your dog associate the presence of another individual with pleasant things. Kindergarten puppy classes might also help. Never compromise with the food quality. You can expect openness to new people like no other from them, and they will play with just about anyone. Luckily, they are also quite eager to please their owners and will have a lot of fun learning to follow commands. This also opens up a new bond between you and your doggo. And this kind of relationship will grow and adapt when you include many games and mentally stimulating toys as well. Since this is a herding breed, they enjoy finding a purpose in the things they do. So, try to get them bones with something delicious inside instead of just giving them plain treats. Pembroke Welsh Corgi While they are a whole bundle of fun, they are also quite protective. You will have to work toward introducing new people to them in a way that puts them at ease and calms them down. They are best known for their easy-to-train nature and protective instincts. A typical German Shepherd has a thick, short coat that keeps them snug during colder seasons. The temperament of a German Shepherd is a mixed bundle of, well, everything. They will be cruel to those who harm you and kind to those they love. They are pretty kind to those they trust, and bonding is essential to them. This playful breed is intelligent, too, so they will need lots of mental stimulation. They are quick on the mark and will need extra help to enhance their problem-solving capabilities. Many facets of their appearance and personality are copied and pasted from the parent breeds. This breed is specifically great for experienced owners, as first-timers may find them to be a bit harder to care for. This is because they require so much attention, thanks to their playful nature and stubborn streak. If you are an inexperienced owner, you might need help to train these dogs appropriately. However, we can assume that the Cormon Shepherd was most likely bred out of curiosity. And now, we know. As with most crossbreeds, there is no particular conclusion as to how your Corgi and German Shepherd mix pup will develop. Your pet will become more of the traits that you feed. You want to encourage movement and lots of fun exercises to keep them from becoming too chubby. This will also help them relieve any excess energy they may have. Beware because this breed can develop a mean streak — whether this is nature vs. So, be sure to remain consistent with your pup and offer them everything they may need to become the best version of their adorable little selves. Socialization Socialization is quite an essential aspect of any dog breed. Introducing them into your home, family, or new pets is one of the first things to tick off your socialization checklist. This is where the fun commands like catch, rollover, and play dead come into play. Be sure to couple all of this with positive rewards like yummy treats. Yes, these affectionate furry love balls make for a wonderful addition to any family. Since the German Shepherd Corgi Mix is so playful, they will do well as a companion to your younger kids. However, they do need to be trained and introduced to babies and toddlers in a controlled environment beforehand. The same goes for meeting other animals as well. Your Corgi German Shepherd Mix will want to smell just about everything and everywhere before nudging their new acquaintance to play with them. You can expect a pupper with short limbs, a stocky build, and an absolutely adorable butt. Their tail is usually that of a Corgi and will stand upright most times, unlike a German Shepherd. Their faces are flat, and their ears are pointy. While most of the face is built like a German Shepherd, they do not have the muzzle of one. Instead, they have a shorter snout like a Corgi has. This is because their short hairs need to keep all their warmth while shedding it off for the summertime. So, you will also want to wash them as often as possible — at least once a week or twice a month. The complicated seasons are usually during the shoulder seasons when the weather changes. Around that time, your pup will shed off any old layers to insulate for the winter or summertime. The Cormon Shepherd is relatively chilled compared to a German Shepherd that needs tons of space to run around. They will need to be in an area where they can do their business at will without interfering with the act of living. Being alone in a confined space for too long can cause your German Shepherd Corgi to act out destructively. They will need some kind of treat or toy to keep them busy during the day. Knowledge, in this case, allows you to care for your dog and adequately prevent any severe conditions. While each breed is fully equipped with its bag of worms, often with mixed breeds, there is no way of knowing what your dog will have to succumb to. Corgi Health Issues This small breed tends to live for around 12 to 13 years. Their stocky figures can hold around 30 pounds, making them exceptionally adorable, especially with their short legs. Unfortunately, they are also prone to some health issues. You can expect Von Willebrand diseases , degenerative myelopathy, and other problems like eye disorders, cardiac issues, and hip or elbow dysplasia. Pembroke Welsh Corgi Ideally, your breeder will have already screened the puppy before selling them to you. So, you should know beforehand how it will play out. The best thing to do with these disorders is to watch out for signs and symptoms. You can expect a good doggo to follow you around for around seven to ten years. You can also prepare for ailments like bloating , cataracts, and even cancer. Luckily with a healthy diet and proper care, these can be avoided, and other conditions can be treated. Luckily, with supplements like fish oils for dogs and a balanced, specified diet, you can manage some of the symptoms your dog may experience. Your corgi is prone to diseases like Obesity. Another option is to check rescue groups or your local shelter for any Corgi German Shepherd mix that might need a new family and home. Brushing its short coat for 10 minutes twice a week is enough to keep the hair sleek and mat-free. Frequent bathing is actually harmful to them as it strips essential oils from its skin. The ears of the Corman Shepherd should be cleaned every two weeks. Its nails should be clipped once a month. If your dog inherits it, it could cause spinal problems or a slipped disc. The latter is a condition wherein the disks in the spine pop out, resulting in excruciating pain in the back and legs. Bloat: This breed is quite notorious for it. This is something owners should watch out for as it can easily progress to gastric dilatation-volvulus, a life-threatening condition. Joint Dysplasia: A lot of Corman Shepherd puppies have this condition. Obesity is another problem that owners should watch out for, especially since it increases the risk of cancer, back pains, and joint problems. French Bulldogs are less costly than other dog breeds in Mississippi MS. Moreover, Bullies may be expensive if acquired from a reputable breeder, since they will come with additional benefits. As a consequence, I recommend buying a French Bulldog mutt since they are adorable, inexpensive, and easy to care for. Frenchie doggies are an excellent choice for first-time dog owners. They are bright, lively, and feisty dogs who get along well with other people and are excellent companions for their owners. Bulldog pups also provide a wonderful outlet for their energy, making the surroundings more pleasant. They are, on the other hand, charming and wonderful, and may help you relax and de-stress. If you have a lot of time and space, French Bulldog mutts are one of the finest first-time dog owners. These dogs are great for first-time dog owners, in my view, because they are beautiful, active, and fantastic companions, making them ideal family pets. What do you need to know about French Bulldogs? If you wish to buy a Frenchie puppy, you need first to learn a little about the breed. The following are some essential aspects to be aware of: They do not require a lot of exercises, but they do require a regular stroll. Bullies are simple to teach, but they are extremely obstinate. French bulldogs are not known for barking excessively. Frenchie mutts are excellent watchdogs, but they may also become territorial. It is critical to constantly watch your children and dogs while they are together, although Bulldogs are excellent with youngsters. Are Frenchies good with kids? The French Bulldog is a wonderful family dog. Because of their caring disposition and protective tendencies, they are one of the best breeds to raise with children or other pets. If you have a child and want to adopt a puppy, Bullie pups are the best option. It will occasionally protect and play with your youngster. This type of dog will never assault your children. As a result, if you want a fantastic buddy for your children or even yourself, a Bulldog is an excellent choice. They are the safest dogs you can have, in my opinion. Why Are They Rare in Mississippi? In the Frenchie breed, the blue merle is the most desired color. They are so different from the average French Bulldog that being so unusual may not be a good thing, especially when considering the health concerns that blue and merle Frenchies can have. However, it is worth mentioning that some merle French Bulldogs may live to be very old. A hefty price tag should accompany a blue merle. If you really want a blue merle-colored pup then you can ask your breeder to find one for you. Numerous individuals want a dog that is unregistered and unidentified. Purchasing a pet without first getting proper documentation is never a good idea. Moreover, buying Frenchie puppies without papers from puppy mills or backyard breeders, on the other hand, will be less expensive. Without documentation, there is no health insurance, licensing, or insurance for a dog. I never advise buying a dog without first getting all the necessary legal paperwork. How long are French Bulldogs in the pooch stage? A Bullie puppy takes a long time to mature. The puppy stage lasts a long period in this dog breed. They grow consistently in height and length for the first 3 to 4 months, then their development rate decreases. It can only stay in the mutt stage for four months at the most. The canines had achieved full adult size at 7 to 8 months of age. Additionally, the doggies develop in height, length, and weight throughout this time. At the age of 10 or 12 months, they are considered completely grown. The brindle coat is the first color that comes to mind when thinking of a colored French Bulldog. The main black hue of Brindle French Bulldogs is contrasted with lighter strands. It is the oldest, most common, and most well-known Frenchie coloration. Also, there are also a lot of fawn Frenchies around. The coat color of these canines varies from pale tan to dark reddish-brown. These dogs generally have a dark-colored mask, ears, and a coat with brindle streaks. In addition, pied Frenchies have a beautiful appearance. They are mostly white with distinct black spots all over their bodies. Bridle and fawn are generally the darkest colors. Even though Frenchie dogs are not very expensive, they do need a lot of upkeep. On the other side, the expense of raising a Bulldog puppy is extremely expensive. A wide range of accessories is included with the dog. Spaying, medical exams, vaccines, licensing, insurance, pet food, bedding, and other expenses must be paid for. If you are financially secure, I recommend acquiring one, and it is also a good idea to inquire about the cost of maintenance from the breeder ahead of time. If you want a Bullies dog, I feel it is best to stay away from puppy mills and backyard breeders. They should be avoided for a number of reasons. The following are some of the reasons: Puppy mills routinely breed dogs with health issues, inbreeding issues, and even injuries in order to sell puppies for less money. Backyard breeders are unskilled in the business of dog breeding, and they routinely breed dogs for profit in unethical methods. In my opinion, you should always get a puppy from a reputable breeder. People may find it tough to choose the right Bullie puppy for them at times. Choosing a canine may be a difficult task. The simplest way to find the perfect mutt is to do the following: You will need to gather all of the necessary information on the breed you want to buy, as well as locate a reputable breeder. You must visually inspect the pup on your initial visit. The temperament of each puppy will be assessed using a variety of tests. Furthermore, I feel you should take your time while choosing a French Bulldog companion. Why Not? Acquiring a Bullies puppy from a rescue center, in my opinion, is not a good decision since there is no assurance that the puppy will be healthy or have great genetics. Puppies at rescue facilities are typically homeless or sick. They bring in dogs and sell them for a low price, but the dogs are often ill or suffer from other issues. So, you can only get a puppy from a rescue shelter if you want to help a mutt or a dog. As a consequence, the decision is totally yours. If you want a cheaper mutt, you can always get one from a rescue facility. Adopting a puppy from a rescue shelter, in my opinion, is extremely dangerous. I like this dog breed in any color and size. But, in your opinion, what are the finest qualities of this dog breed? Also, please let me know if you know of any other Bullie breeders in Mississippi. Many can appear almost entirely black with hints of cappuccino shade closer to the mid-limb region. Black and tan colors are common. Aside from stimulating physical activities, West German Working Line German Shepherds also crave attention and appreciation, much like what an owner would expect to give his faithful companion. So before welcoming a German Shepherd, including the West or East varieties, to your home, ensure it aligns with your lifestyle and standards. These dogs are purpose-bred; they need an owner equally committed to their emotional needs as they are to their physical ones. Finally, West German Working Line dogs have an intimidating presence — an excellent deterrence for intruders and even pests. At least height-wise, the bigger DDR Shepherds match smaller show-line shepherds. Their purpose-focused breeding is evident in their physical structure. Their backs, alongside their fur color, give away the difference. Interestingly, though working-line German Shepherds are generally cheaper than show-line shepherds, East German GSDs might be an exception. The high standards adhered to in their breeding and their purpose of protection have resulted in their prices coming pretty close to the top-tier show variety. The rarity and robust health of these German Shepherd dogs is another contributing factor to their high prices. Pure DDRs are not only hard to find but also live healthier due to genetic predisposition to the illness being ruthlessly bred out at the stud-selection stage back in the days of Deutsche Demokratische Republik. Consequently, the dog is fit for physically fit single owners and families wanting a guard dog. Their intimidating presence, alongside their devotion to not just you but your entire family, makes them the perfect, practical companion. Their purpose as a protector is undeniably evident. Despite being almost immune to most disorders and diseases that most GSDs are prone to, East German Shepherds cannot defy physics and come with the same drawbacks as any big dog: the wrong crate, crate pad, or bed can seriously affect their joints. Czech German Shepherd Czech German Shepherd Czech German Shepherds , another meticulously bred variant adhering to specific standards, originate from the Czech Republic, or they would have a different name. They are also a working variety and come relatively cheaper than show-line shepherds. They are almost entirely black, sable, or a mix of the two and resemble DDR Shepherds in many visual traits. Their sizes are pretty similar, but it is best to get confirmation from the breeder. Aside from being similar in looks, these dogs are also pretty close to DDR Shepherds in personality and maintenance demands. However, the visual appeal aspect can be subjective, and looking at the stud can help you assess whether the puppy will grow into the kind of pet you have in mind. More than the looks need to be factored in when selecting a dog. Czech Shepherds have incredible stamina and an intense need to be liked. This makes them the perfect cross between guard dogs and family pets. Like most working lines, they will love you and your family and jump to protect what they love. While this is the most common, they can also be black and tan or a mixture of sable and black. These dogs are much higher energy than show lines, which also means their prey drive is much higher. Having these working lines as pets is absolutely doable. However, it may require a bit more commitment on your part. Because of their prey drive instinct, monitoring them around other animals and small children can help to avoid primal triggers. Some are incredibly docile and sweet, never hurting a fly. However, because of their working roots, it is something to watch for as a responsible owner. They have incredible focus and endurance, suiting them perfectly for physically and mentally stimulating roles. Like their West brothers and sisters, East German DDRs have sable coloring, though most are darker and sometimes even black. German Shepherd puppies have a different diet — get them what they need! These lines are the most different of all the Shepherd variations. Since they are a combination of many bloodlines, you may notice that an American Shepherd is more substantial in build and their heads and muzzles are shorter. American show line German Shepherds are most generally black and tan, though with specific breeding, they can be a variety of colors. They are generally lighter and have more of a sloping gait and longer hocks than their European relatives. Their underbellies are thicker, as are their chest portions. Because of the backyard breeding problem among Shepherds in America, many of these dogs are passed off as champions but are muddied down. So, if you want a show-quality Shepherd, be sure to do your homework. Proven bloodlines are a must to ensure good temperament and quality. However, rather than being such prey-driven workaholics, these tend to be slow-paced dogs who do better within family structures. Because of selective breeding, European, and mostly German show line German Shepherds, have a less chance of developing issues relating to ill temperaments. Tests will reveal any traits considered unwanted to prevent further breeding from the specimen. Therefore, the most significant difference between show lines of America and Europe is a focus on the overall greatness of the breed. European lines uphold the authenticity of the original breed standards. These strict regulations help produce reliable, well-rounded dogs. This is what initially led to the German Shepherd taking on different breeding structures between the two sides. The separation lasted until .The introduction of the German Shepherd to the United States dates back to .Because of unregulated breeding, the U. Many original bloodlines are now broken, causing undesirable traits in the breed. Czechoslovakia had their hand in things as well, developing their unique spin on the breed. These may include annual check-ups at the veterinarian's office including vaccinations , monthly heartworm prevention medication, grooming sessions every weeks, and high-quality pet food that meets their nutritional needs. How Much Is a Goldendoodle Puppy? The price of a Goldendoodle puppy can range widely depending on the breeder, its location, and any special features it may have. However, some breeders may charge even higher prices if their puppies come from an exceptional bloodline or have unique traits. Purchasing From Breeders Breeder reputation: Look for reviews online and ask around within local communities or social media groups dedicated to Goldendoodles. Health testing: Reputable breeders will conduct health tests on both parent dogs before breeding them together. Puppy contract: A responsible breeder should provide a written agreement outlining what they guarantee regarding your new pet's health status and other terms related to care after purchase. Finding Adoptable Dogs Through Rescues and Shelters Adopting a Goldendoodle from an animal rescue or refuge can be a great way to give a home to an abandoned pup while saving money. Many organizations specialize in rescuing specific breeds, like the IDOG Rescue , which focuses on finding homes for doodle dogs such as Goldendoodles. Keep in mind that adopting through shelters may require additional time and patience compared to purchasing from breeders since you might have to wait until your desired breed becomes available. However, this option is often more affordable than buying directly from breeders and helps support animal welfare efforts. Factors That Impact the Cost of a Goldendoodle When considering the purchase of a Goldendoodle, it's essential to understand that various factors can impact their cost. Colors The color of a Goldendoodle's coat can significantly influence its price. Rarer coat colors, such as reds and merle goldendoodles , are more expensive than common shades like cream or apricot. While this may not affect the dog's personality or health, many potential owners are willing to pay extra for unique appearances. Dogs with proven lineage from reputable breeders often come at higher prices due to their genetic quality assurance than those without documented ancestry. Breeder Reputation Reputable Breeders: Purchasing your puppy from reputable Goldendoodle breeders ensures you get a healthy dog raised in good conditions. Reputable breeders follow ethical breeding practices by testing parent dogs for genetic disorders and providing proper care during pregnancy and after birth. This level of care comes at a higher cost but provides peace of mind knowing your pup is coming from responsible hands. Puppy Mills and Pet Stores: It's crucial to avoid buying from puppy mills or pet stores, as these establishments prioritize profit over the welfare of their animals. Dogs bred in such conditions often suffer from health issues due to poor breeding practices and inadequate care. While puppies from these sources may have a lower initial cost, they can lead to higher expenses in vet bills later on. We do not recommend buying from a pet store or a puppy mill. Estimated Size The size of your Goldendoodle will also impact its price. Smaller Goldendoodles, like Mini Goldendoodle or Teacup varieties, typically cost more than Standard-sized dogs because they are in higher demand due to their convenient size for apartment living and easier handling by owners with limited space. On the other hand, larger adult Goldendoodles might be less expensive but could require more resources for grooming costs, food consumption, and exercise needs. The Prices of Different Size Goldendoodles Goldendoodles come in various sizes, which can significantly impact their cost. In this section, we will explore the prices of Mini, Teacup, and Standard Goldendoodles to help you understand how size affects the overall price. Mini Goldendoodle Price The Mini Goldendoodle is a popular choice for those who want a smaller dog with all the wonderful qualities of a standard-sized one. These dogs typically weigh between pounds and stand around inches tall at shoulder height. You may also find that some breeders charge more for rarer coat colors or patterns. Teacup Goldendoodle Price If you're looking for an even smaller version of the beloved doodle breed, then consider getting a Teacup Goldendoodle. Weighing only pounds and standing just under 12 inches tall at shoulder height when fully grown makes them perfect pets for people living in apartments or small homes. Keep in mind that caring for teacups might require extra attention compared to larger breeds, so be prepared for additional expenses in the long run. Standard Goldendoodle Price The Standard Goldendoodle is the largest of the three sizes, weighing between pounds and standing around inches tall at shoulder height. These dogs are known for their friendly personalities and low-shedding coats, making them great family pets. It's essential to choose a responsible breeder who prioritizes health testing and ethical breeding practices when purchasing your new furry friend. This innovative device allows you to keep tabs on your dog's location at all times, giving you peace of mind knowing that they are safe. Goldendoodle Breed Guide The Goldendoodle is a popular and versatile breed, known for its friendly personality, intelligence, and low-shedding coat. A blend of the Golden Retriever and Poodle breeds, this hybrid pooch presents a great mix of attributes that make it appropriate for various ways of life. Personality Goldendoodles are typically affectionate, social dogs with a gentle temperament. They get along well with children and other pets in the household. Their high level of intelligence makes them easy to train as they quickly pick up on commands and cues from their owners. Moreover, these dogs have an innate desire to please their humans, which further contributes to their trainability. Generally speaking: Miniature Goldendoodles: weigh between pounds kg and stand at about inches cm tall at shoulder height. Standard Goldendoodles: Standard Goldendoodles are larger, weighing between pounds kg and standing at inches cm. Average Lifespan The average lifespan of a healthy Goldendoodle ranges from around 10 to 15 years when provided proper care, including regular vet check-ups , vaccinations, exercise routines, grooming sessions, and a balanced diet. They enjoy activities such as walking, running, swimming, or playing fetch. Providing them with at least 30 minutes of daily exercise is essential for keeping your Goldendoodle happy and healthy. Additionally, engaging in mental stimulation exercises, like puzzle toys or obedience training sessions, can help keep their minds sharp. Approximate Lifetime Care Costs The lifetime care costs of owning a Goldendoodle include expenses related to food, grooming, veterinary care including vaccinations , pet insurance if opted for , and accessories like collars and leashes Fi GPS Tracking Dog Collar recommended , among others. How Can I Lower the Cost of a Goldendoodle Goldendoodles can be quite expensive, but there are ways to reduce the cost while still enjoying the companionship of this lovable breed. Adopting vs. Buying From a Breeder Pet adoption websites and local animal shelters often have Goldendoodles available for adoption at significantly lower costs compared to buying from breeders. By adopting, not only do you save money, but you also provide a loving home to an animal in need. Purchasing or Adopting an Older Dog Instead of a Puppy If your heart is set on owning a Goldendoodle, but the price tag seems too steep, consider adopting or purchasing an older dog instead of opting for puppies. Older dogs usually come with lower prices as they might not possess certain desirable traits like specific coat colors or pedigree lineage. Additionally, senior dogs tend to be calmer and require less training than their younger counterparts. Conclusion After considering all the factors that impact the cost of a Goldendoodle, it is safe to say that they can be quite expensive. The price of a Goldendoodle can vary significantly, depending on factors such as size, age, and the breeder's reputation. Additionally, grooming costs and potential health issues should also be taken into account when calculating the actual cost of owning a Goldendoodle. If you're interested in getting a Goldendoodle but want to lower the cost, consider adopting an adult dog or purchasing from reputable breeders with reasonable prices. These designer dogs are a mix between the Golden Retriever and the Miniature Poodle and are a popular choice for many dog owners. However, there is quite a bit of expense associated with these dogs. This will help you decide whether you have the budget to make one of these adorable dogs a member of your family. As designer dogs, Mini Goldendoodles can be quite expensive. If you have a family member or close friend whose dog has had puppies, they could be willing to gift you a new best friend. In many situations, dogs given for free could have illnesses or behavioral problems you will need to deal with as your dog ages. It can happen though. The pet may have their deworming, first vaccines, and spaying or neutering done already. When going this route, you must ensure the breeder is reputable. These breeders care about the dog breed and do their best to maintain integrity. They will be knowledgeable of the breed and are open to giving you medical, parentage, and care information for the dog you are bringing home. Due to the care and time given to a specific dog breed at a breeder, the costs are quite a bit more. Of course, there are breeders out there who will increase prices. However, if you truly want to give your dog the best start to a happy and healthy life. Your pet will need a comfortable bed, food and water bowls, and a collar and leash. By Beth Satterfield Mini Goldendoodles are all the rage these days, sweeping the country with their cuteness. But how much do they cost? If money is an issue for you, you may want to hold off on getting one of these puppies. Attributes that will raise the price higher include size, color, breeder information, and genetics. Why are these darling dogs so expensive? Other factors that can contribute to the price of Goldendoodles are their size, gender, coat color, coat type, breeder reputation, and location. Size and Gender There are lots of sizes of Goldendoodles , but they can be divided easily into two categories: standard and mini. Mini Goldendoodles , however, are a whole other ball game. As these dogs get smaller, their price gets higher. Know that the smaller the dog, the more likely you are to run into health problems and have to pay even more. Gender is another contributing factor to the price of your Goldendoodle. As with all dog breeds, female dogs will cost more than males because they have the potential to have puppies. Goldendoodles can also be found in apricot, black, grey, cream, and red. Additionally, they can be found in multiple colors, although this is extremely rare. Keep in mind that the rarer the color or combination of colors , the higher the price will be. Goldendoodles also have the potential to have straight, wavy, or curly coats. Generally, Goldendoodles with curly coats will be the most expensive, because they are the least likely to shed, and therefore are the most hypoallergenic. Breed and Location The genetics of a mini Goldendoodle will also play a part in its cost. If a mini Goldendoodle has good parentage or a good pedigree, expect the price to rise significantly. The generation of a mini Goldendoodle will also be important in determining the price. This leads to a greater tendency to have curly coats, which affect how much the dog sheds, and how hypoallergenic it is. Additionally, there are three types of Goldendoodle: American, English, and Canadian. American Goldendoodles tend to be lankier, less muscular, and come in a larger variety of colors. English Goldendoodles tend to be stockier, with a more square-shaped head, and are most commonly found in gold, cream, or white. Canadian Goldendoodles are thinner, taller, and are usually characterized by darker coats than the other types. The location that you find your mini Goldendoodle in is also very important. The same goes for breeders with champion dogs: their puppies will be very expensive. Speaking of gigantic medical bills, you may be meeting those if you purchase a puppy from a puppy mill. These do not take very good care of their puppies, and a puppy purchased from one will most likely not be as healthy as it should be. Occasionally, though, you may find one that you can save and give a forever home to. This blog explores why these Goldendoodle puppies fetch such a premium and the aspects contributing to their pricing. Goldendoodle Puppies and Their Worth Goldendoodle puppies are the delightful offspring of two popular breeds: the ever famous Golden Retriever and the Poodle. The combination of the attractive and hypoallergenic characteristics emblematic of Poodles with the loyal and loving temperament peculiar to Golden Retrievers mixes wonderfully in a hybrid that combines all the best parts of their ancestors into a strong Goldendoodle. The price of a Goldendoodle can vary based on several factors. Firstly, the amount of health testing completed on the parent dogs can significantly affect the cost. Breeders who do physical health testing will have passing certifications to share with customers. They should include results for hips, elbows, patellas, heart, and eyes. Breeders should only utilize dogs in their breeding program that pass all these physical tests. Removing a dog from the breeding pool who fails a test results in loss of the investment in that dog as a breeding prospect. DNA panels screening for diseases is also critical so that pairing of breeding dogs can avoid crossing two who carry the same disease mutations. When both parents carry the same disease genes, the puppies can inherit a gene from each parent resulting in the puppies being affected by that disease. Reputable breeders ensure proper DNA and health testing to rule out genetic disorders, ensuring the puppies have the best chance of a long, healthy life. As a result, costs could rise. Goldendoodles with rare colors may command a higher price than their counterparts. However, choosing a puppy solely based on its color is never a good practice, as temperament and appropriate size for your home is always the top priority. While it might seem initially high, the price of a Goldendoodle reflects the care, effort, and responsible breeding practices invested in raising a healthy and well-adjusted puppy. The Role of High Demand in Goldendoodle Costs Goldendoodles have gained significant popularity over the years, and the demand for these adorable puppies is sky-high. However, responsible and reputable breeders prioritize the health and welfare of their dogs over the volume of puppies they produce, ensuring each puppy receives the right amount of care and socialization. The high demand and the limited supply from reputable breeders naturally drive the price upwards. However, these breeders might not adhere to proper breeding practices, often skimping on health checks, failing to properly socialize puppies, and ignoring the genetic diversity necessary for a healthy pup. Quality breeders invest time, energy, and resources to ensure their puppies are healthy, well-socialized, and ready for their new homes. Avoiding puppy mills , which often prioritize quantity over quality, is paramount. Such places tend to breed more puppies without sufficient regard for their health and well-being. This can lead to puppies with health problems, poor socialization skills, and even behavioral issues. This ensures that the puppies they sell are genetically sound and free from preventable health problems. Breeders with a good reputation ensure good care for the mature dogs under their charge, furnishing them with a good life, regular examinations by a veterinarian, and plenty of affection and personal notice. How to Find a Reputable Goldendoodle Breeder Knowing how vital it is to select an ethical breeder, comprehending the hallmarks that distinguish reputable breeders is crucial when embarking on your quest to welcome your first furry companion into your family fold. So, how do you find a reputable breeder amidst the sea of Goldendoodle puppies for sale and mini Goldendoodles for sale ads? Next, note how the breeder talks about their adult dogs and puppies. A reputable breeder will be more than happy to answer any queries you have about the breed, health issues, or their breeding practices. Remember, a good breeder will never have an abundance of Goldendoodle puppies for sale. They focus on the quality of the litter, not the quantity. Owning a pet is a long-term commitment, and it goes beyond the initial purchase cost. The ongoing cost of feeding your pet a high-quality diet is critical for their overall health and well-being. Spay or neuter costs are other factors to consider. Although not immediately necessary for puppies, this procedure is required by contract by all responsible breeders once the puppy is old enough so as to prevent unwanted litters and specific health issues. Finally, investing in pet insurance can be a wise decision. While it adds to your monthly expenses, it can save you significantly in case of accidents or illnesses. The love, companionship, and joy that these furry friends bring into our lives make every penny spent worth it. Bringing a Goldendoodle puppy into your life is a decision that comes with both financial and emotional considerations. However, when you investigate those intelligent , adoring eyes and experience the unconditional love they offer, every dollar spent feels worthwhile. Reputable breeders, like those affiliated with the GANA, go to great lengths to ensure their Goldendoodle puppies are healthy, well-adjusted, and ready to bring joy to their new homes. They invest in health tests, provide high-quality care for their adult dogs, and take the time to socialize their puppies properly, all of which contribute to the cost of a Goldendoodle puppy. This could be in the quality of care, health testing, or breeding practices. Opting for a cheaper puppy could mean facing higher vet bills and potential heartache. By doing your homework prior to bringing home your new puppy, you will be assured you have a quality bred, healthy, well-socialized puppy. Your journey awaits. The Mini Goldendoodle is a fantastic option! This designer dog is in great demand due to its exceptional features. Find out what to anticipate from these puppies in terms of training, diet, and more! Despite his amusing moniker, the Mini Goldendoodle is a serious candidate for the title of the best family dog. According to Dog Academy , this designer dog is one of the more recent additions to the scene, but he is showing dog lovers all around the world that he is a fantastic animal that makes a wonderful canine friend. A Small Goldendoodle is a Golden Retriever crossed with a miniature poodle. This is how they may go from a regular-sized doodle mix to a smaller one since the Toy Poodle is substantially smaller than the average doodle mix. What Is the Price of a Goldendoodle? Although being a crossbreed between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, due to strong demand, the price of these pups remains high. Teacup, toy, and mini Goldendoodles weighing less than 15 pounds will often cost substantially more since they are considered more difficult to produce. Teacup and toy-sized Goldendoodles, on the other hand, have been known to have serious health problems due to their small size. Mini Goldendoodles are toy, micro, and teacup Goldendoodles, however, they will cost a lot more. There is other more factors to take into account, such as desire and the quality of the breeder. Depending on its generation, this mixed-breed might have a straight, wavy, or curly coat. The first-generation Goldendoodles are frequently wavy and curly. Because they are non-shedding and hypoallergenic, they are more costly than those with straight coats. Coat Color: Because Goldendoodles are a cross between two purebreds with a broad range of colors, this hybrid has a wide range of coat coloring, which affects its pricing. Brown and apricot Goldendoodles , for example, are less costly than the Phantom and Tuxedo varieties, which are significantly rarer. Furthermore, you should expect to spend extra if you ask your breeder for a specific multi-colored puppy. This is because they can promote to a larger number of people who have a greater income. Due to decreased demand, rural breeders may be able to provide more affordable puppies. Health Assurances: Legitimate Goldendoodle breeders frequently provide health guarantees. If the pet owner notices a health concern with the dog, they will replace it or provide a refund. Of course, this is contingent on the terms of the assurance that both parties agreed to. Breeders go to great lengths to ensure that their animals are in good health by giving food, immunizations, deworming treatments, and other essentials. All of this is costly, and the breeder would have to put a large amount of money into the litter to guarantee that it is well cared for. As a result, a costly hybrid is produced. Size: The price of the puppy you want will be determined by its size. Goldendoodles come in three different sizes: regular, medium, and mini. The costliest of them is the mini-size, which is also available in the toy, micro, and teacup sizes. Breeders devote a lot more time and effort to developing these little ones since they might develop health problems if not correctly produced. The price of a Goldendoodle varies based on what it comes with. Furthermore, when you buy from a respected breeder, you will almost always obtain a health guarantee. Breeders will ask you to register the dog, microchip it, and spay or neuter it within a certain time frame, which will add to the cost. These cute and devoted dogs are sure to tug at your emotions! What do Goldendoodles cost? Consider the number and generation of the group to help you set a budget. Keep an eye on the breeders you purchase from and do your research! Look for prior customers and their testimonials to get a sense of where your Goldendoodle is coming from.

A maximum of 2 hours of exercise is required every day for these animals. Possible Health Issues Labradoodles are usually less prone to catching diseases, unlike the parent breeds. However, there are a few diseases they can catch despite their immunity. Hip Dysplasia This is a genetic condition that can be acquired from one of the parent breeds of the pup. The ball and the socket of the hip do not join properly. This can cause them a lot of discomfort, especially when walking as the ball and the socket constantly rub and grind against each other. They can treat it with surgery, hydrotherapy, or pain medications. Infections Of The Ear Labradoodles usually have very droopy ears, making it very easy for them to get ear infections. The moisture in the ears can often get trapped easily because of the droopy ears, which attract many bacteria. You can easily identify that your pup has an ear infection just by the way they contact, shake and itch their ear. It is best recommended to take your doctor to a vet at this point and get it treated as soon as possible. Allergies Of The skin Labradoodle puppies in San Diego are pups extremely prone to allergies, especially those of the skin. A skin allergy to your Labradoodle can be triggered by fleas, dust, pollen, plastic, and so on. There is no specific cure for an allergy. But your vet will definitely prescribe your dog medication that can help ease the symptoms of an allergy. Retinal Atrophy Retinal Atrophy is a condition where the retina of the puppy starts to slowly deteriorate, which further leads to blindness. Initially, your Labradoodle might have only night blindness, but if this is left untreated, it can further into blindness during the daytime as well. Although there is no cure for Retinal Atrophy, Labradoodle puppies in San Diego can easily adjust to their surroundings. They will learn how to navigate around the room as long as the furniture remains unchanged. You need to find a puppy that is friendly with your children, animals, and other unfamiliar faces. Inhumane breeders operating puppy mills prioritize selling their litters for profit without focusing on producing healthy pups or improving the breed. If your Labradoodle is prone to food allergies, consider reaching out to your vet about potential ingredients your pup might react to before switching to an alternative kibble formula. Create a chart for whenever you feed your Labradoodle or let them use the toilet to keep track of their daily routines. The number of times they eat and go throughout the day changes as your pup ages, so keep that in mind if you need to update their charts. Be sure to take your Labradoodle to the vet within the first few days of taking them home. Although your pup goes home with up-to-date deworming and vaccinations, additional blood and fecal testing can identify hidden issues early. Consider compiling a shopping list of supplies to pick up before taking your dog home, including puppy food, toys, a size and age-appropriate crate, and brushes for maintaining a non-shedding coat. rhodesian ridgeback german shepherd mix puppies for sale - Diet Breeders Preference Many people are surprised to learn that there are NOT three types of Golden Retrievers, as you often will read on the internet. Instead, there is only one Golden Retriever breed possessing different colorings and structures. In truth, those colorings and differences are due to the preferences of breeders for specific physical structures, including coat length and thickness and color preferences. Of, if your buying your Golden Retriever from a non-registered breeder, it again depends on the lineage of its parents and grandparents. In other words, if you want to know approximately how fluffy your Golden Retriever will be, then looks at its parents. His mother was taller and lankier, with a short wavy coat. The result? Bailey is a mix. He has the size of his mother and the thickness of his father, and his coat is gold with white markings, mid-length and wavy. However, beware that even seeing the parents is no guarantee of a fluffy Golden Retriever. And that is because Golden Retrievers can have individual differences within a family litter. Just like human families can have wide variations among siblings in their eyes, hair, and physical attributes. The reason? Genetics You can take heart that almost all Golden Retriever puppies will have some degree of fluff factor. However, suppose you find your Golden Retriever puppy is not as fluffy as another. In that case, unfortunately, you have little control over that. How much or little fluff your Golden Retriever has largely depends on genetics. In other words, that is how your puppy was born. Golden Retriever puppies are individuals, and the interplay of genetics in each of those puppies can be very complex. This means there can be a wide variety of trait variations between individuals. Consider human beings, for example. You may have a child that is taller or shorter, has brown or blue eyes, and goes bald later in life. So, similarly, you may have a Golden Retriever puppy that is not as fluffy as your neighbors solely because of genetics. As well, even within a litter, you can have variations. So, while your Golden Retriever puppy might be highly fluffy, someone else selects one that is far less so. Regardless if your Golden Retriever puppy is high or low on the fluff scale, I can guarantee it will be cute and adorable they all are. And fluffiness is fleeting. It decreases as the puppy ages in adolescence and adulthood discussed next. Your puppy is special and unique in its own right. I have yet to meet a Golden Retriever that is not. Moreover, the degree of fluffiness does not necessarily guarantee that your adult Golden Retriever will be long-haired. Again, genetics does. Be mindful that the coat you see on your puppy will not be the same as the one it has as an adult, and that includes color, length, and fluffiness. Age The next factor that affects fluffiness is age. Puppies that are less than 12 weeks old are all fluffy. However, as noted in the previous section, fluffiness is fleeting. Within the first three months of age, the Golden Retriever puppy has very thin, soft goose-like fur. Golden Retrievers puppies are similar in that their coats are thinner and more fuzz-like. The fuzz-like fur, due to it being lighter, tends to stand up more and is more frizzy. So it puffs up the puppy making it look fluffy. The puppies get protection and warmth from their mother and littermates early on. However, as the Golden Retriever puppy ages and becomes more independent, its fuzzy fur thickens and lengthens. Then, it is slowly replaced by a longer coat. Bailey was a fluffy puppy. That thinner, fuzz-like coat that is consistent with a fluffy furball is most prominent within the first 12 weeks, after which it begins to lessen as the coat grows in. The coat will rapidly thicken beyond three months of age, and the fluffiness associated with a young puppy decreases. Typically, there is nothing to worry about in the first eight weeks as the mother keeps the puppies clean by licking them. A Golden Retriever puppy should not be bathed before eight weeks of age. Your puppy will should still be with the breeder within the first eight weeks of its life, and typically, there will be no baths. However, many breeders ours included will give your Golden Retriever its first bath at about eight weeks old, usually before you bring it home. Bathing removes any dirt or oils from the fur and removes any matting. The coat has more volume and lift, making the puppy look more fluffy. No different than if you have hair that is dirty, greasy, and matted down, and then wash it. Immediately after it dries, it has more volume and lifts, and it looks fluffier. One word of caution. Overbathing can remove essential oils and cause skin issues. There is no need to bathe a Golden Retriever more than every six to eight weeks. Health and Medical Issues Health or medical issues or medications can impact a Golden Retriever, including the fur. Often the coat will be thin and lack shine, and there could be excessive shedding, dandruff, or dry fur and skin. Some medical issues that can impact a Golden Retrievers coat are hormones, parasites, cancer, and problems with digestion and metabolism. Arthritis, obesity, or malnutrition can also cause issues with the fur. Skin issues such as allergies or hot spots may also impact the coat, and excessive scratching can exasperate the problem. Fur and skin issues are often a sign of an underlying health issue. If your Golden Retriever is showing signs of skin and fur issues such as excess itching, shedding, and a thin, lackluster coat, consider booking an appointment with your vet for an examination. Another cause of potential fur issues is stress and anxiety. If your Golden Retriever appears sad or depressed, it is often due to stressors. Sadness and depression can also affect appetite and desire to exercise, which in turn, can impact the fur. Diet Like a poor diet can impact our hair; the same is true for our Golden Retriever. A diet deficient in nutrients or calories can cause a malnourished dog or a dog that is too skinny , which impacts health and fur. Likewise, lacking adequate macro and micronutrients can cause the fur to be thin, look dull, be matted, and fall out. In contrast, overfeeding a Golden Retriever can cause obesity which can prevent a Golden Retriever from grooming itself properly. Furthermore, a dog that is too fat is not only more prone to health issues but has a shorter lifespan too. Watch for allergens. Often if your Golden Retriever is allergic to a specific ingredient, it will manifest in the skin and coat. Itchiness, hotspots, excess shedding, and a thin, lackluster coat could be signs of an allergen or skin issue resulting from the diet. Also, watch table feeding. Premium dog foods are designed to provide the optimum amount and balance of nutrients for your dog, something which table scraps may not provide adequately. Plus, table feeding can cause a dog to become a picky eater. A common allergen for Golden Retrievers is dairy products, including milk. How fluffy your Golden Retriever becomes is mainly dependent on those issues discussed earlier: breeder preference, genetics, and age. However, you may be wondering if there is anything you can do to make your Golden Retriever more fluffy. Keeping your dog at a healthy weight with adequate exercise along with feeding it premium dog food is important for optimum coat health, as is keeping the dog clean and brushing it regularly. As discussed earlier, a Golden Retriever puppy should be bathed no earlier than eight weeks of age. If your breeder does not give your Golden Retriever puppy a bath before taking it home, then you can proceed to provide the puppy with its first bath. In addition to making your puppy more fluffy, introducing it to regular baths early on ensures that it becomes used to being bathed. Doing so makes it much easier as the dog gets bigger. Keep it as short as possible and as positive as possible. Your puppy is in a strange house with strange people and is now separated from its mother, littermate, and home. Add in a scary bath now, and you have a stressed puppy. In fact, I might suggest waiting until week nine or ten, so your puppy can acclimate to you and your home first. While blow dryers are great for puffing up fur and accentuating the fluff factor, be mindful of the heat. If you decide to use a blow dryer, then be mindful of the temperature and the length of time you are using it. This is especially true of puppies. Puppies have smaller surface areas and do not yet possess their full coats, which offers some protection against heat. Moreover, dogs do not sweat but instead regulate heat by panting. As a result, a small puppy is less equipped to keep up with cooling if overheated. The next thing you can do to make your Golden Retriever more fluffy is to brush it regularly. Brushing will help remove loose hairs and dirt while redistributing body oil. Regular grooming practices are vital for maintaining your Golden Retriever in optimum health. Doing so will ensure a healthy dog that has an attractive coat. In addition, premium dog food coupled with proper portions and adequate exercise will ensure your dog has all the nutrients it needs while maintaining a healthy weight and good digestion. Adding supplements such as salmon oil can help produce a shiny, soft, and healthy coat and aid in healthier joints, brain, and heart. To help ensure a healthy, well-balanced Golden Retriever that is at an ideal weight, make sure your dog gets regular daily walks or runs. Finally, regular vet check-ups will ensure there are no medical issues that need addressing. Regular vet check-ups are also the perfect time to discuss any coat issues. Are Golden Retriever Puppies Fluffy? There are few cuter things than a Golden Retriever puppy. As puppies, one of the most adorable things is their fluffy, goose-like fur. So, is this trait specific to a few lucky puppies, or are all Golden Retrievers puppies fluffy? Most Golden Retriever puppies will be fluffy up until three months of age. Within the first three months, the puppy possesses fluffy, soft fur that helps regulate body temperature. After three months, the coat begins to thicken and lengthen, gradually becoming less fluffy as the dog ages. Yes, the Golden Retriever puppy is adorable with their juvenile coat being so high on the fluff factor. You wish you could keep them small and fluffy forever. But can you? As your Golden Retriever ages, it will become less and less fluffy. Before 3 months of age, the fur of a Golden Retriever puppy is similar to fuzzy goose down. However, as the Golden Retriever ages, its coat begins to grow. The coat thickens and increases in length, and the dog develops its double coat. Golden Retrievers possess a double coat consisting of a thinner and lighter inner coat that helps regulate body temperature and a lustrous golden outer coat, which is thicker and water-resistant. While the coat still might have a fluffy-ish appearance, it typically will not be the same as before month three. And it will continue to become less so over time. As an adult Golden Retriever, the dog may have more dense hair, and that fur might be longer. As a result, the dog may appear a bit more fluffy than an adult Golden Retriever with less length and thickness. Again, this is determined by genetics and breeding. For example, some Golden Retrievers have shorter, less dense coats, while others have longer coats. Bailey is only 1. Still, as an adult, a Golden Retriever with a longer, thicker coat, while looking a bit more fluffy, will not look like it did as a puppy. The hair is longer and thicker, which is heavier and lays on the body more, versus the lighter fuzzy fur that a puppy has, which has more volume and lift. So, the short answer is no; Golden Retrievers do not stay fluffy, at least not to the same degree as they are when puppies. Final Thoughts Golden Retriever puppies are pretty much all fluffy. However, there is a timer on that fluffiness, and after about the 3rd month of age, that soft, thick fuzzy fur will start to thicken and grow. So by adulthood, while most Golden Retrievers have a long, dense coat, they lose the fluffiness they had as puppies. While you can control what breeder you buy a dog from and from that, get a good idea of what it will look like , you cannot control its genetics. Need more convincing? Fluffy vs. Learn more. This breed is so famous for being a charming member of the family. His piercing brown eyes, friendly face, and striking rich coat make him insanely beautiful. When you are around him, you cannot resist the temptation of running your fingers over his fluffy coat. He will fill your life with so much joy that you never imagined possible. When choosing a puppy, you might encounter both the fluffy and non-fluffy types. Granted, the first type is the most abundant but it is not uncommon to have a non-fluffy pooch as well. Which one should you go for and why? To keep you informed, we will highlight what you should expect from both fluffy and non-fluffy Golden retriever puppies. Their coats feature soft, fluffy hair. However, as they reach three months of age, you will notice the coat taking on the appearance of long hair. This begins at the tail where a few strands of long hair will grow over the soft fluffy hair of the puppyhood stage. The feathers start at the tail then grow on the legs and stomach area. Gradually, the rest of the areas will grow flat, long locks with the new hair being longer and darker than light puppy fur. Instead of the puppy shedding his fur, the adult hair often grows on top of the fluff. Even as the adulthood hair catches on, some Goldens will still have fur variations on their skin. If you have visited a rescue or a breeding center, you have probably noticed this. Ending up with a non-fluffy goldie can be really frustrating, especially if you know that Golden retriever puppies should have fluffy coats when they are young. So what can cause a Golden retriever puppy to lack the fluff? Here are a few suggestions. Genetics Genetics plays out a lot in the making of the puppy. Coat length is a hereditary issue. To know if the appearance of the coat is a result of genetics, talk to the breeder and find out if the parents had the same coat. If one of the parents had the same coat or something close when they were little, you definitely have nothing to worry about. Some are long-haired while others are short-haired. The common short-haired variety includes field-bred golden retrievers. Bred to work in the field and hunt, this type has relatively short hair than his counterparts. By now, the hairs are preparing to shoot and so you cannot judge the future based on what you see now. Wait until he turns months of age to observe what is going on before making a conclusive judgment. Typically, a growing puppy needs a perfect balance of fats, proteins, vegetables, and fatty oils to be in top shape. The only way to rule this one out is to visit the vet. Health Issues Last but not least, a non-fluffy Golden retriever puppy may be suffering from health issues that directly impact his coat health. If your pup shows any signs of sickness including decreased appetite, restlessness, stress, anxiety, diarrhea, vomiting, or just being in bad mood for long periods of time, let him be checked. But before you do, you have to know what to expect when it comes to caring for the coat lest you get confused and overwhelmed. Ideally, you want to start grooming your ball of fluff as a puppy. The earlier you start teaching him about grooming, the easier things will be for you because the dog will get used to it early. First things first, a golden retriever should not be shaved. If you shave him, he runs a chance of freezing in winter and suffering a heat stroke during summer. To be safe, simply trim the hairs if they grow too long but really, you may not even need to trim anything. Just locate any long hairs and clip them a bit for a good look. Perhaps the only advisable thing would be to brush the coat once or twice a week to keep it neat and keep any loose hairs away from your surfaces. Brushing allows the body to release its natural oils and makes the coat shiny and cute. A slicker brush will get the job done to perfection. It has a wide surface filled with pins and will help your work through loose hair and mats. What about a Non-Fluffy Coat? Some people consider non-fluffy golden retriever puppies to be less attractive compared to their fluffy counterparts. While that may be true to a certain extent, having a non-fluffy type may be a blessing in disguise. This is because you have less hair to worry about. This means fewer grooming sessions for you as well. The best grooming tool for a non-fluffy golden retriever is the bristle brush. It is less intense and is ideal for your pup. A weekly brushing schedule should do the job. At this stage, expect the puppy to play with the bristle brush and chew it up. That is the whole process of getting him used to it. After a few sessions, he will be comfortable with grooming and will give you an easy time. Final Thoughts Wondering whether to buy a fluffy or non-fluffy golden retriever? Both options are good-looking dogs with the same incredible temperament of the breed. Caring for the coats is slightly different as well as looks but either way, you will have a great canine friend in your golden retriever. Related Posts:. However, like most breeds, they can come with some health concerns and grooming needs you must keep in mind. While many coat issues are a simple fix, this can be a sign of deeper issues that need addressed such as poor nutrition. Your Golden Is Not the Right Age One thing many forget when adding a golden retriever to their family is that their coat will go through several phases. The coat that your puppy arrives to you with will not be the exact same texture as what they grow older with. If your dog is not yet reaching that fluffy golden retriever coat you were hoping for, it may not be time for them to yet. However, this is very normal, and a puppy coat will be much different than the coat later in life. You should focus more on training your pup and teaching good grooming habits at this stage. This feathering begins at the tail and moves upward to the head, while hair begins to darken in color. This is a good idea of what your adult dog will look like. It is important to note that some golden retrievers will take longer to reach their adult coat. After the three year mark, if your dog still does not have a fluffy coat or you notice any coat changes, this is when you should become concerned. If your dog has not yet reached adulthood, their coat is not a major concern and patience is key! As a pet owner, it can be challenging to know exactly what your pet needs and golden retrievers have a fairly high maintenance coat. You will want to offer your pet regular coat care as part of your daily routine. This should start as soon as you bring your puppy home, even before they truly need it. This will establish good grooming techniques and ensure that your dog is used to regular brushing. Removes dead skin cells which will cut down on the levels of dander your pet has. Removing excess dead hairs will avoid matting and keep hair detangled. Start with a softer brush for puppies and get a sturdier brush as your dog ages to remove unwanted dead hairs. Routine Bathing Will Keep Your Golden Fluffy Another important part of raising any dog but especially golden retriever is to routinely bathe your pet. This will help ensure that the coat remains supple and free of any debris. Dogs that have longer coats can easily become entangled with small twigs, burrs, and dirt which are hard to remove without regular bathing. Before bathing your golden retriever, remove any notable sticks or debris. You will want to find a shampoo that works well for the breed, which you can often ask a vet for assistance with. You should only bathe your dog as needed, and never more than a couple of times per week. If your dog is particularly hard to bathe or brush, you may want to take it to a professional groomer. This can also help if your dog has gotten matted or knots that you cannot deal with on your own. Overall, proper coat care is the first step in creating a fluffy coat. Some golden retrievers will simply not have as fluffy coats as others, which is something you cannot necessarily change. If your notice that your puppy grows a less fluffy coat and wavier coat, this may just be their genetics. The first step to determining if your dog simply does not have a fluffy coat is to consult your breeder. Often puppies of two golden retrievers that have wavy hair will also have wavier hair. If your puppy has a coat that resembles the parents, that probably means they too will have a wavy coat. If you have rescued or adopted the dog, this can clearly be a bigger challenge. However, it is simply put that not all golden retrievers will be fluffy, and this should not be a concern unless a major coat change is noticed. There is truly no way that you can alter a genetically based hair texture. Poor Diet and Nutrition One of the biggest reasons for a change in coat in an adult golden retriever is a lack of nutrition. This is also one reason why some goldens do not grow silky, shiny coats as they are not getting the nutrients needed. To ensure that your dog has a fluffy coat, you will want to guarantee they get the nutrients they need. Some signs of poor nutrition that can be noted from the coat alone are excessive shedding, bald patches or extreme loss of hair, dry hair, dandruff, and more. If you notice any of these signs, you will want to seek better quality nutrition for your pet. This can often be done on your own, but a vet can always point you in a proper direction. This will change as your dog grows older and you will want to update foods accordingly. Choose a higher quality food that has better ingredients. Unfortunately, better foods often come with a higher price tag but can be very beneficial to your dog. Try adding supplements to promote hair growth and quality. Omega-3 can be added and will help with coat quality immensely. This should be brought up at your next vet visit for more exact dosages. Environmental Changes Impact Coat Health If you have recently made a major move and brought your pet along or have had a recent change in seasons, this can have an effect. Dryer weather can often lead to a less supple coat. If you have noticed an increase in dry weather in your area, this could be the culprit. Offering more frequent bathing with a higher quality, moisturizing shampoo can also help immensely. If you live in an area that is dry often, you may want to combine these suggestions and speak to a vet for more options on what you can do for your pup. Unknown Health Concerns If you ever notice a change in coat in addition to a change in behavior or overall health, this can be a concern. While this could be a simple issue, it could also be something that needs immediate care. Beyond ensuring that your dog has a healthy coat, a vet can do screenings to find deeper issues. This will help guarantee your dog has a long, healthy life. Proper nutrition and quality routine care will almost guarantee your dog has a fluffy, soft, and silky coat. Share this:.

Leah H. We were lucky to have come across Bruiser Bulldogs and even more so the fact that they were near our family and hometown made it even better. We have had Clementine Callie for four months now, and she is a wonderful dog. Her personality is amazing, and I think part of it is breeding and the other part is Erika and her family lovingly raising the puppies in their home with plenty of attention and snuggles. I also was impressed that, rather than send the puppies out right at 8 weeks, Erika kept ours for a few extra weeks because she was tiny and not read to leave her mom yet. It's that care that differentiates Bruisers from other breeders. Emily R. Erica was easy to work with thru the entire process from application to adopting and now beyond as we host our new family member, Chief. Her on-call support and willingness to provide open, honest advice to all of our questions and concerns continues to be appreciated. We would highly recommend Bruiser Bulldogs to anyone looking for an English Bulldog to join their family. Elizabeth W. Lady L. We were at the top of the waiting list for months and Erica reached out every litter to see if we were finally ready for a bulldog. When we were, she was very easy to work with. Her knowledge on bulldogs is outstanding. We had many questions on the process and she always knew what was best for the puppy. We've had Penny formerly Blair for two months and she is very healthy, energetic, playful, and sweet. She is great with other people and dogs. We are so happy with our pup. When we are ready for bulldog 2, we will only consider Bruiser Bulldogs. Mitch C. Bowser was born April and is an integral part of our family. When we were first exploring English Bulldog breeders our biggest concern was the overall health of the dogs. We decided to work with Erica at Bruiser Bulldogs because we liked their focus on improving the breeds breathing abilities and the fact that the puppies are raised within her family environment before coming home with their new owners. Bowser also breaths clearly and our vet was impressed with his overall health from the moment we brought him home. All that said we know English Bulldogs have a predisposition to many health issues and that his current health can not predict the future. With that In mind its important to start with a breeder that open to answer any of your questions as Erica has ours, and that strongly believes in improving the breeds overall health profile. Adam B. My sister ended up finding Bruiser Bulldogs and we knew right away that they were the breeder for us. In September we ended up driving 9 hours to pick up two Bruiser bulldog puppies- one for my husband and I and one for my mom. Jackson and Penelope have been nothing but a joy. They are both very athletic and healthy. They are also HUGE snugglers and always want to be with you. It is an absolute pleasure having these two bullies in our lives! Erica is very knowledgeable about the breed. She is very hands on throughout the process and is just overall a kind and honest person to work with. With all that being said I cannot recommend Bruiser Bulldogs enough! Collyn C. One of the reasons we chose Bruiser Bulldogs was due to the claims about breeding for health. During our first visit at our vet's office, he told us that our pup was one of the healthiest English bulldogs he had ever seen. He is healthy, happy and social. Would recommend to anyone. Christina S. We seen our dog on their website and sent them an Email. Mitch called us and personally walked us through the process and made sure we had the right dog for our family. They require artificial insemination,a c-section at birth and supervised hands on feeding of the puppies otherwise the mother will squash or smother them accidentally. Feeding is done around the clock night hours included every hours for weeks. Scammers will steal pictures from breeders and can also hack into websites and act like they represent someone's breeding program!!! Please heed this warning!! Get references, ask questions,do your homework. If it sounds too good to be true it is!!!
