I also like to try and outsmart my foster parents when they hide my treats or sticks, I bring inside. I am very curious and love to explore, play, eat, and cuddle. Now that I am older, I can make it through the night without any potty accidents but I need to go outside as soon as I am up, usually around 7am. I eat breakfast then it's right back outside for my next potty break! I like to have a chew bone and play for a while, then naps. I like to sit on the couch next to my foster mom, or lay on my back sprawled out on the floor. I love going for walks and am learning to not pull. I bark a little at other dogs but I am very dog and people friendly. Nights are pretty low key, I may play a little before bed time, where I prefer to sleep next to my foster parent's bed. I love to cuddle if you'll allow me up too! Since I am still a puppy, I need reinforcements with potty training, proper leash walking, and learning what and what not to chew on. I am just a super sweet girl and can't wait to share my love with you!

German Shepherds often referred to as GSDs, which stands for German Shepherd Dog are such cute puppies and grow into loyal, graceful, and strong dogs of noble character with high intelligence. Because of their popularity and all the things that make the German Shepherd unique, this breed is a true marvel. There are many reasons, and we will try and highlight some here. GSDs are highly intelligent. They can do almost anything you train them to do. If you have a GSD, you know this. Because of this intelligence, GSDs are more flexible than other dogs with their lifestyle. While living in a house with a large backyard is ideal for a German Shepherd, the reality is they can be quite happy in an apartment if they are getting enough exercise throughout the day. Great Health. German Shepherds can live a long time because of their good health. The main health risks for GSDs are related to their size: they can get hip and elbow dysplasia easily, which often leads to arthritis. Minimize the risk of suffering by adding mobility supplements to a healthy diet early in their life. Good Looks. German Shepherds are some of the most splendid dogs out there. There will most likely be a nose print there because your GSD was investigating it. Speaking of noses, you most likely have been nudged many times when you have a GSD. This is because they are part of the are herding group of working dogs. All herding breeds share an instinctual ability to control the movement of other animals including you. The evidence is on you right now. GSDs shed a lot, and you most likely have a lint brush in your car to dust off that dog hair before you go somewhere. You aren't a couch potato. How could you be? You have a GSD, one of the most active dog breeds out there. As a member of the working dog breeds, these dogs are active in service fields, protecting land and sky and your homes. For as large as they are, they have relatively long lives. Most GSDs will live to the age of 13, which is considered old age for a dog their size. The main health threat for GSDs is the risk of arthritis. German Shepherd arthritis happens because they are large breed dogs, very active and as they age, their joints need extra protection. Because of their large build and athleticism, many German Shepherds suffer from joint problems. This especially affects the hip and elbow joints, which is called hip or elbow dysplasia. Because of these joint problems, GSDs are at high-risk for osteoarthritis or arthritis in dogs. GSDs can start to slow down sooner than expected due to joint pain or arthritis. These beds would not be a bad choice for a puppy either. Most dogs love the plush sides to rest their head. This bed is waterproof, which is great for those puppies learning to potty train. This bed is very comfy and is made of memory foam, which is a plus for older Goldendoodles. Check Price Food and Water Bowls As soon as you get your Goldendoodle home, they will need to have food and water available. There are many different size and shape food bowls that you can get for your Goldendoodle puppy. There are even pet water fountains to keep your Goldendoodle entertained while drinking water. Shopping for toys was one of my favorite parts when I first started shopping for Clifton. My advice is not to buy too many toys at first like I did. Your puppy is going to destroy those cute, stuffed animals quickly. Grab a few because they make for some cute photos and toys around the house, but also stock up on things that will help when they need to chew. One thing to keep in mind when getting toys is to avoid any rope toys. Pups can eat the strings and have them wrap around their intestines — which is NOT good. So just skip them altogether. But when deprived of these early lessons, the puppy will bite more and harder, and teaching him that biting is not allowed is more difficult. House training problems are also more common with puppies taken away from mom and litter mates before 8 weeks. However, a three-, four-, or even six-week-old puppy is not yet ready for these lessons. The reason we like to keep our Mini Bernedoodles longer than our standard Bernedoodles is because our Mini Bernedoodles are smaller than our standards. We do not let puppies go home until they are over 5 pounds. During the extra week they are with us, we continue to socialize the puppies. This extra week gives us time to put extra fat on your puppy so when your puppy goes home they have enough fat reserve to handle the stress of moving without skipping a beat. Why should Bernedoodle puppies stay with mom and litter mates until 8 weeks? The short answer for a Mini Bernedoodle is 9 weeks.
