The Havanese breed originated in Cuba, it was brought over by Spanish colonists and bred as lapdogs for nobles. Over years of refining the breed have resulted in what we know today as the Havanese. This new mix dog is not recognized by the American Kennel Club, but the Poodle is part of the non-sporting group and the Havanese is part of the toy group. The cost of a Havapoo pup will vary depending on the breeder and the parents. You can expect a healthy Havanese Poodle to live between years. But looking at each parent breed will help give us an idea about what your pup can look like. They Are Curious As we mentioned above, German Shepherd puppies use their mouth to explore the world around them. Biting can help them examine and understand an object, and our hands and feet can fall into that category as well! If you catch your puppy gnawing on everything around your home, it may be their curiosity getting the best of them! A dog quickly learns what behavior gets a reaction, causing them to do it over and over again. Even if their bites result in a negative reaction from you, it still counts as attention. They Are Teething Similar to teething babies, a German Shepherd puppy experiences teething pain as well. If your Shepherd pup seems to find relief when chewing on objects, they may be biting you due to teething discomfort. They Are Herding You If your German Shepherd puppy is constantly biting at your ankles, they may be displaying some herding behaviors.
