When you want to begin training your dog, start by strengthening your bonds. Once you figure that out, you can quickly bring them back to you and make them focus on training. Reward their good behavior. Positive conditioning always helps a dog stay motivated. Once they learn to do a particular trick, give them rewards. You may use dog treats or give them more play time. The more they realize that their good behavior is met with rewards, the better they will perform during training and everyday life. Teach the dog to recognize you. Beagle Poodles need to be trained in obedience due to their highly distractable nature. Thus, you have to be able to establish that you are the alpha and they need to listen to you. Use dog clickers and whistles to grab their attention whenever they are straying so that you can focus more on honing their skills. Ensure regular exercise. An active dog is a more trainable dog. Allow your pet to roam around the place and make sure they get their daily dose of walks. They also love to socialize, so part of their exercise should be letting them play with other dogs and meet other people. Beagle Mixed With Poodle And Families Beagle Poodles are not only excellent pets for new owners, but they are also great companions for families. They exhibit the loyalty and serving attitudes of hunting breeds that your family will surely appreciate. They can watch over your household while you sleep and give your family love and affection during the daytime. After you and your wife get home from work, your dog will be there to relieve your stress. Their small size makes them good playmates for children as well. They love to run around and play, so if you have active kids, let them play with the dog. This allows you to give both your children and your dog their much-needed exercise. Once the dog is trained, kids can also give them commands, so that bonding times will be more fun between them and the dog. Taking care of your Beagle Poodle makes it happy, and a happy dog also means a happy household. Getting a pet that gives your family more joy is always a worthy investment. If all goes well, a Beagle Poodle will live out its lifespan not only as a loyal family dog but also as an everyday companion and best friend. Poogles are small to medium-sized dogs with the combined smarts and high trainability of the Beagle and the hypoallergenic Poodle. There is no doubt that the Poogle is going to be a very popular designer breed in the years to come. If you decide that a Poogle is a right choice for your home, then read on, we have all the information you need about this adorable breed! What is a Poogle? Also known as Beaglepoos, Beagledoodles, or Beapoos, Poogles are loving and loyal designer dogs that have a ton of confidence. To understand more about Poogles, let us take a brief look at their parent dog breeds. Beagles The Beagle dog breed needs no introduction. It is easily one of the most popular dog breeds in the world today. As hunting companions, their skills are par excellence. They are scent hounds gifted with an incredible sense of smell which helps them in tracking. As family dogs, Beagles are loyal, affectionate, and just the right size. Poodles The Poodle dog breed has consistently ranked No. Exceptionally smart and active, these dogs were bred to retrieve things from the water. The small-sized Poodles were used for truffle hunting. Origin of the Poogle Poodle mix breeds like Poogles are nothing new. From the dawn of canine history, intact males and females have met and created a new breed in the process. In the late s, a few dog breeders acted according to the needs of future dog owners. People wanted dogs but some had limitations due to pet allergies. The Poogle was one such creation. We cannot say for sure exactly when the first Poogle was created but assume it must have been around the s. Like all other designer dogs hybrid dogs , the Australian National Kennel Council does not recognize the Poogle breed. Exactly how big a Beagle-Doodle puppy will get depends on the size of the Poodle parent. Most dog breeders use standard or miniature-sized Poodles for mating with a Beagle. This is due to the comparable sizes of the two breeds. Most Beagle Doodles grow to a height of inches 28 to 38 cm and weigh between lb. Your Poogle puppy can be considered a fully-grown adult at 18 months. Since there is no standardisation for mixed breed dogs, you could have many variations in the appearance of the Poogle breed. For example, some Poogles inherit the curly low-shedding coat of the Poodle parent while others may have the short and thick coat of the Beagle parent. Are Poogles Hypoallergenic? This is one of the most frequently asked questions people have about Poogles. Unfortunately, there is no definite answer for it since it all depends on complex canine genetics. Therefore, your F1- Poogle could or could not be hypoallergenic. Most first-generation poodle mix breeds that have a short coated breed as one of their parents such as a Beagle, Dachshund, Labrador etc will inherit a wire texture coat, that is low shedding. In case you or a family member is allergic to dogs, you might want to ensure that your breeder gives you an F1-B Poogle puppy. Do Poogle Dogs Shed? All dogs shed — some more than others. However, Beagles shed a lot all year round and a Poogle that inherits the Beagle-like thick and short coat might shed as well. In any case, you can expect your Beagle-Poodle mix to be extremely smart and highly trainable. Before bringing home your Poogle, you need to be aware that these dogs tend to be highly excitable. You will need to train your puppy to enjoy spending periods of time in calmness by teaching it some obedience commands and providing passive calming activities like stuffed Kongs. While this nature may be great to have around children, it is very important to teach both — the kids and your Poogle — about the proper way to behave around each other. As such, very young babies or toddlers should not be allowed to interact with a fully-grown Poogle without supervision. In general, though, the Poogle makes an excellent family companion pet. With proper training, your Poogle will bring a lot of fun, laughter, and love into your household. Poogles are also ideal companions for active individuals, couples, and even elderly people. However, they do need plenty of daily activity and mental stimulation to prevent them from getting bored and destructive. Stuffed Kongs, licky mats, snuffle mats, food puzzles, long-lasting chews and raw meaty bones should all be on your puppy shopping list. Are Poogles Smart? Poogles are incredibly smart like their parent dog breeds. This makes them easy to train and also a good choice for first-time dog owners. These highly intelligent designer dogs use their sense of scent and can be great as hunting companions. They are also known for superior adaptive intelligence like both the parent dog breeds. How Do You Train a Poogle? The best way to train a Poogle is with consistency, patience, and love. Set aside minutes daily for the training. Begin and end every session with some playtime, praise, and cuddles. Keep the sessions short 5 minutes per session and use high-value treats to get your Poogle to do what you want it to do. Crate training is recommended for Poogle puppies and adults to prevent them from developing separation anxiety. Separation anxiety is a common behaviour problem among poodle mix designer dog breeds. Crate training is not cruel, in fact, getting your poodle mix breed comfortable with spending time alone in a crate is vital for their wellbeing. There will be times when your dog might need to be caged for brief periods of time such as for vet visits, interstate or overseas flights, boarding, to prevent jumping on guests etc. Furthermore, growing your beagle mixes skills of independence, confidence and optimism are important and necessary life skills. If needed, enrol your dog in puppy preschool, hire a private dog trainer, or send your puppy to a board-and-train facility. Do Beagle-Poodles Bark a Lot? Like their Beagle parent, Poogles do tend to bark. Not all kinds of barking are bad your Poogle might bark to warn you about danger! This is important if you live in an apartment or have neighbours close by. Poogles are relatively rare in the United States and Australia. Therefore, you might not find too many breeders having Poodle Beagle mix puppies on sale. Breeders will charge according to the effort they have put into their breeding program. For example, the best breeders conduct health checks and genetic tests on their breeding dogs. This costs money but ensures healthier puppies. What to Feed a Poogle? Later, your vet nutritionist can recommend the best food for your dog. Make any dietary changes very slowly to prevent gastric issues in your young dog. A diet that includes raw meaty bones is generally better for Poogles as it could help prevent tooth decay to some extent. As dogs grow older, they might prefer soft or wet food over kibble. Wet food is easier on their teeth and also can be more satisfying due to its higher moisture content. Always look for food having the first ingredient as meat. Some dog foods are packed with cereals or grains and vegetables instead of meat. It is best to avoid such foods since dogs, although omnivores, still need meat for protein. Poogles are usually healthy eaters. Sometimes, they might act as if every food is their favourite. Also, Poogles are prone to obesity, so you might want to avoid free-feeding. What are the Common Health Issues in Them? Some Poogles are known to inherit the health issues seen in the parent dog breeds: hip and elbow dysplasia, PRA or progressive retinal atrophy and other eye problems, epilepsy, dental disease, obesity, and back problems. Beagle-Poodle mixes purchased from reputable breeders are generally hardy dogs and, with proper care, could live for nearly years. The Poogle is a cross between a Beagle and a Miniature Poodle. These little dogs are affectionate and loyal with a friendly, playful, and energetic personality. They love nothing more than being with their families. Although they are not recognized by the American Kennel Club, the Poogle is recognized by other notable dog organizations. The Poogle is an affectionate companion dog that loves to be with their families and thrives on attention from them. They are smart dogs with a playful personality and a loving temperament. They tend to get along well with children and other dogs. A Poogle can have a high prey drive, so they may need some extra socialization with any smaller pets in the household. They do tend to bark to alert you of strangers and can be protective, especially of children. Although they can be protective of their family, they are generally open and friendly to meeting strangers as long as they have been properly socialized. Poogles are highly adaptable dogs. They do well in larger homes as well as apartments as long as they get enough exercise. They also adapt well to most climates. As with any dog breed, they are sensitive to heat and may need to bundle up with some winter dog products when temperatures start dropping. Because they bond so closely with their families and thrive being around them, they do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. If they do not get enough exercise, attention, or mental stimulation, they can become destructive. Also, since they have a high prey drive and an urge to chase, they should only be let off-leash in securely fenced areas. Although they can master basic commands , including recall, they will sometimes ignore it in favor of chasing something or following an interesting scent. Although the Poogle is a relatively healthy breed, there are still some potential health conditions that they could inherit from their parent breeds. Reputable breeding helps prevent a lot of these issues because reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable health issues on to puppies. So, make sure you ask them about the health and genetic history of both of the parents. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done. This makes the Poogle a highly trainable dog that is a good fit for owners of all experience levels. They respond best to consistent training focused on positive reward and praise. Not only do they reinforce training and strengthen the bond you have with your puppy, but they also often offer great opportunities to socialize a puppy. A Poogle tends to have a short to medium-length wavy coat that can be a variety of colors. If they have a shorter coat, they will just need a weekly brushing and the occasional bath. If they have a longer coat, they will need to be brushed a few times a week at least, if not daily, to make sure tangles are removed. Cutting nails once or twice monthly is usually enough to keep them from growing too long. They should be clean, dry, and free of debris, pests, or irritation. And, if you see anything concerning, you can get to the vet early. Gum disease is one of the most common health issues in dogs. As a small dog breed, your Poogle is even more prone to developing it later in life. Brushing or using an enzyme toothpaste daily in addition to cleanings at the vet as needed are ideal. A Poogle tends to sit in a high-energy range. They need a lot of daily activity to be happy and healthy. Daily walks plus some playtime and some time to run are a good start. And, they will likely be up for more activity if you are. These dogs tend to be athletic and hardy. So, once puppies finishing growing and developing, you can try a bunch of different activities to see what they like to do. Most of the time, they will just be happy to be doing something with you. A fully-grown Poogle usually stands inches tall and weighs pounds. Their size can range larger if they have a Standard Poodle parent instead of a Mini Poodle parent. Poogles generally live for years. Although this mixed breed is often called a Poogle, they are also sometimes called a Poogle Hound, Beaglepoo, Beagledoodle, Beagapoo, and Beapoo. Featured Poogle Article.

She is around .She loves touch, so is prone to getting snuggles wherever possible. Sash gets on well with other dogs and enjoys a playmate to have some fun with. She loves to run. A medium energy level, she is intelligent, loves to be involved, she is a loving girl, quirky and people focused. Sash has not been around young children so she may not suit a young family. Sash was to be part of our Guardian breeding programme however her hips are not at the standard we need for breeding. The vets comment on this is there is no expectation of her having any issues with her hips. Sash is desexed. Coco and Walters litter Born 24th August, leave us at 8 weeks of age, 19th October. A good balance of playfulness and energy, happy to chill when everyone else is, or be the fluffy bundle on your lap, he is a lapdog with attitude. We expect the puppies will be clever, cuddly and people focused with a medium energy level. Absolutely thriving on their mums milk they are now quite chunky, in a week or so their eyes and ears will slowly open and then life changes. All very exciting! She loves her walks and off-leash runs in the paddock and zoomies round the garden. Frida is doing really well and knows many commands. Frida is clever and strong however she is jumping up and can pull on her lead, she needs someone who has experience training dogs. Being a larger girl, and strong, Frida could potentially pull her owner off their feet, so her excitement for life needs to be carefully worked with. We are looking for someone to adore this girl, who can put the time and the energy in so she can blossom. Due to her jumping we will not place her where there are children, even though she would love them. Please get in touch if you are interested. Great for people with allergies. Oh, to be loved by a Frenchie! We searched for a very long for a home that we could grow and build our family. When we finally discovered our new home it was in the middle of nowhere-literally, and on a dirt road too! The ironic part was that the road we live on is named Traffic Street. Go figure. Some one was being funny the day they decided to name our road. So that being said, we moved from the city, it became a joke in our house to call ourselves City Farm. We needed an official name to be considered a farm for New York State so here we are. Now on to what you came to this site for--the Frenchies of course!! We love Frenchies but then again who doesn't? We did not start out as a Frenchie family though. We actually began with Pugs. We began our breeding program with our beloved Pug over 19 years ago. We couldn't imagine a life without her. We knew her life could never be as long as we wanted it to be so we decided we wanted her to live on with her offspring. This is how we became what we are today. We do not breed for a living. We breed our dogs simply to bring quality French Bulldogs into the world so that other families can have the same happiness and joy that we have with our dogs. Living out here allows our family of 8 and all our Frenchies room to roam. Our dogs have acres of trails and woods to explore with us. They love to wade into the ponds some swim and to chase the chickens and bark at the cows. Our dogs and puppies are involved in nearly every aspect of our daily lives. All our puppies are conceived through insemination and when the special day arrives, the puppies are delivered via c-section to assure the safety of both mom and puppies. The pups are handled beginning day 1. Every member of our family is responsible for the puppies. Our puppies are socialized with babies, toddlers, young children and teenagers as well as other dogs and animals. We socialize them with children and other animals to insure that new families are bringing home and healthy and happy puppy. They are very much loved, adored and spoiled. Many of our families come back to adopt more.Phone Contact Pupppy Information: Deposits are accepted to hold puppies born as well anticipated litters in the future. .Call or text for pictures and pricing. We should have nicknamed him Teddy for Teddy Bear as he is cuddly as one. He is a bundle of cuteness with an abundance of puppy kisses. His ears not going up yet are the only stubborn thing about him. He is sweet and playful. She likes to find pinecones and sticks when she is outside playing. She will always find a spot in the sunshine for her naps. She likes to play and then curl up with her siblings for a well deserved snooze. She is happy to snooze in the shade and watch the birds or cuddle up with kiddos to watch a movie. With their signature bat ears and expressive eyes, French Bulldogs, or "Frenchies" as they are lovingly known, have captured the hearts of many dog lovers around the globe, consistently ranking among the most popular breeds. Renowned for their easy maintenance and the ability to thrive in apartment living, French Bulldogs are a city dweller's delight. Their small size, typically weighing under 28 pounds, makes them perfectly suited to compact urban spaces. However, their charming personalities and heartwarming companionship are universally loved, irrespective of city or countryside living. This breed's laid-back nature does not mean they're devoid of fun and play. On the contrary, French Bulldogs can be quite playful and are known for their often comical and entertaining antics, which only further endears them to their owners. Their affectionate demeanor, combined with a remarkably low barking tendency, makes them a joy to have around the house. French Bulldogs are sturdy, compact, and stocky, with a powerful muscular build that contradicts their small size. They have a smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors, from fawn and brindle to white and grey. Their facial expressions are human-like, and they're known to "talk" using a complex system of yawns, yips, and gargles. However, owning a French Bulldog does come with responsibilities. Their brachycephalic short-nosed nature makes them prone to certain health issues and less tolerant of extreme temperatures. Despite their muscular appearance, they are not the best swimmers, and care should be taken around bodies of water. From the moment we saw her we knew that she was going home with us. From there we never looked back. The French Bulldog is one of the greatest dogs that you can own. So we usually have a good selection of very high quality puppies. View Our Available Puppies! Not all mini Goldendoodles are equal, there are a few different versions to choose from each having a little different genetic background based on the pups parents. We will explain all the differences in Mini Goldendoodle puppies and how they are bred below. We raise all versions of the mini goldendoodle breed. F1 Mini Goldendoodle Pups. A F1 puppy is also known as a First Generation puppy. The puppies mother is a Golden Retriever and the pups dad is a Mini Poodle. This version of mini goldendoodle usually has soft wavy or curly puppy fur. They will shed until they lose their puppy fur, after shedding they will shed a lot less, but will shed. This version is partially hypoallergenic and usually requires low maintenance. F1 mini goldendoodles usually need to be groomed every 6 months along with daily brushing to keep their curly hair from matting and getting tangled. The dogs usually grow up having great temperaments similar to golden retrievers. They usually get about inches high at the shoulder and range in weight from pounds. F1b Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1b is known as a second-generation mini goldendoodle with the pups mother being already an F1 Goldendoodle and the pups dad being a mini poodle also. So the difference between F1 and F1b is that the mom is not a golden retriever but an actual F1 Goldendoodle. They also have very soft curly hair but with almost no shedding. This F1b version is semi-hypoallergenic and a better choice for anyone who has pet allergies. The F1b also should be brushed on a daily basis but will need to be groomed more frequently then a F1. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is recommended to keep their coat in perfect condition. F1b Mini goldendoodles get around 18 to 20 inches tall at the shoulders and range between pounds in weight. F1bb Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1bb goldendoodle is also known as a third-generation mini goldendoodle. This mini goldendoodle version has a coat more similar to a poodle than of a golden retriever. This is because the pup is more of a poodle than a retriever. Making it the very best version for anyone with pet allergies. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is required to help prevent knots or matting. This version is super intelligent and loving, and usually seems to have more energy than the other versions of Mini goldendoodles. This version is usually smaller in size, weighing around pounds and only getting inches tall at the shoulders. The smaller size makes them a great size for smaller homes and apartments. What is a mini golden retriever? On average, they weigh pounds. Our Mini Goldens are crossed with specific Poodle lineage to avoid health and temperament issues the other breeds can cause, and are hypoallergenic, shed less and live longer than Golden Retrievers. Occasionally, we have some that weigh more than 45 pounds, or even less than 30 pounds. They generally have more Golden Retriever in them, so they are a closer carbon copy than the smaller Comforts. They generally have a little more poodle, so they may have more hypoallergenic and reduced shedding traits. Occasionally, we get white spots abstract or parti-colors from the Poodle side. Sometimes, we produce curly coated Comforts. We classify our coat types based on DNA results, not on visual appearance. Shed levels are individual to the dog, so while we hope that the majority of our dogs are low shedding, there are those who are moderate to heavy shedders. There are many factors that influence shedding as well. Some of these include season changes, weather, stress, illness, and a puppy transitioning to its adult coat. She is already so comfortable here and so attached. She gets so excited every time she sees us. And she has such a sweet disposition Everything goes for her. She just rolls with it. She loves to play and has lots of playful energy when she chases behind a toy or plays tug of war. But she loves to cuddle too, and she can busy herself well too without complaint. Yesterday we left her home when we went on a walk and she never barked or whined and was fast asleep when we returned. She accepted her crate as if she had never known any other place to rest. She just crawls in there and rests when she is tired. And when she wakes up, she quietly plays until we take her out of the playpen. Her potty training is going well. A couple of accidents here and there, but most of the time we catch her before anything happens, and she always does her business right away when we put her on the grass patch we have on the patio. She is getting a treat when she does her business. So, she actually figured out that if she spares some pee and squats several times, she will get several treats. Only One treat for the first time, everything after does not get rewarded any more. Wow, I have never seen a puppy learning that fast. And loving to learn. Being really food driven helps. I could not think of a better quarantine buddy to brighten up our day. I think she will be an amazing therapy dog who brightens up the day if many more people. Oh, and did I mention she is absolutely beautiful? Thank you again for that gift, Michele. I hope you are all doing well and are coping with the many new puppies. Some stressful days ahead of you, I am sure. And you are the best puppy mom I have ever encountered. Lots of love to your whole beautiful family! Life Span Did You Know? This cross is meant to produce a smaller version of a Golden Retriever that retains the classic Golden look and their characteristic friendly and sweet temperament. Mini Golden Retrievers tend to maintain a temperament very similar to Golden Retrievers. They tend to have a sweet, open, and friendly nature. Mini Goldens get along well with children, other dogs, and other pets. These dogs tend to make great family pets and can also be found working as service dogs or therapy dogs. Due to their smaller size, the Miniature Golden Retriever is a highly adaptable dog breed. As long as they get enough exercise, they are happy in apartments as well as larger homes with yards. They also do well in just about any climate. As with most dog breeds, they are sensitive to extreme heat or cold. Because these dogs are so people-oriented, they do not like to be left alone for long periods of time as they would much rather be an active member of the family. For Mini Golden Retrievers, these could include elbow dysplasia, heart issues, eye disease, and hip dysplasia. Asking the breeder about the genetic history of the parents and checking out available health clearances or tests can help allay potential health concerns. All of the dog breeds in the cross for a Mini Golden Retriever are highly trainable. So, these dogs tend to be highly trainable, intelligent, and eager to please their owners. They tend to be a good fit for dog owners of all experience levels, including first-time dog owners. They respond best to positive training methods focused on praise, play, and reward. Although the aim is to have the Miniature Golden Retriever look just like a smaller version of a Golden Retriever, there will be variance in the coats because it is a mixed dog breed. You may have puppies that look identical to a Golden Retriever or you may have puppies with tightly curled or wavy coats from their Poodle or Spaniel parents. With the Poodle in the cross, there may be a chance of a low-shedding coat, but you will want to be prepared for a dog that will shed moderately year-round and that requires regular brushing and bathing with the occasional professional grooming session. Floppy ears tend to be more prone to ear infections, but regular checks and careful cleaning can help prevent them. Dental care for dogs is so important. But, it is often overlooked, which is why dental disease is one of the most common health issues in dogs. The Miniature Golden Retriever is likely to be a high energy dog that requires plenty of exercise to be happy and healthy. Daily walks, plus playtime and some extra activity should be sufficient for this dog. They will likely enjoy any activity that means they get to do things with you, which means they may enjoy hiking with you, taking trips to the dog park , swimming, or even training to compete in dog sports. A fully-grown Miniature Golden Retriever usually stands inches tall at the shoulder and weighs between pounds. A Mini Golden Retriever generally lives years. Dwarfism does occur in Golden Retrievers, which results in a smaller Golden Retriever and can also cause additional health concerns. Meeting the parent breeds in person and asking to see health tests can help you verify that you have a Mini Golden Retriever. Miniature Golden Retriever Puppies for Sale. Email: massespudgypugs gmail. Their pups are bred to carefully chosen AKC champion-line stud dogs. These breeders work hard to better the breed standard by working closely with other reputable breeders. They strive to raise Pugs with great temperament, confirmation, and health. Pups are sold to approved homes only and come with a two-year guarantee on any hereditary conditions. Once pups are eight weeks old they can be sent home to their new families. They will have all current vaccinations and deworming, and will have been socialized and litter box trained as well. They love their dogs and show commitment to the betterment of the breed in everything they do. But how can you spot reputable breeders when you start searching for a Pug puppy? Here are some tips to help you out. A good breeder will… 1. Issue a health guarantee Make sure that your breeder of choice offers a health guarantee. A reputable Pug breeder will write up a binding health guarantee for all of their puppies. The guarantee protects you against any genetic defects or diseases. It shows that the breeder is confident that their puppies are bred according to best practices. This means if you can no longer look after your pup for some reason, you will be expected to return the puppy to the breeder rather than taking them to a shelter. Provide standard health clearances Your breeder should have full health clearances for both parent Pugs. Good breeders often provide some early health-check clearances for their pups too, although some health clearances simply cannot be carried on such young pups. Issue a written bill of sale Reputable breeders offer written bills of sale to all of their new Pug parents. This bill of sale should be signed and will outline all the roles and responsibilities to be taken on by the buyer and seller as part of the transaction. Vaccinate their puppies All puppies should be up to date on their vaccinations before being homed with new families. Your breeder of choice should be able to provide evidence of these vaccinations. Reputable breeders welcome prospective parents into their homes to see the puppies. Follow age guidelines Puppies should never leave the litter before 8 weeks of age. Any breeder offering pups for adoption before this time is not following best practices. In fact, this could be quite damaging for the puppy developmentally. A reputable breeder will keep their pups at home until eight to twelve weeks so that they can be properly socialized and spend that crucial time with their mother and litter-mates. Answer your questions Last, but not least, a reputable breeder will be knowledgeable. In most cases, they will also want to ask you plenty of questions to ensure that their precious pups are going to good homes. We have a strict selection process that takes a variety of factors into account. That way we can ensure that only the best breeders end up on our lists. This way we know that our chosen breeders offer genetically sound and healthy puppies. Health testing shows a commitment to the health and wellbeing of each Pug. Contact information Any breeder that does not offer up their contact information is a big red flag. A reputable breeder will make it easy for you to get in contact with them by providing telephone numbers, email addresses, and they will usually have a well-established website as well. It shows a commitment to breeding best practices. Event participation Breeders who also compete in doggie events are often some of the best. Because these people tend to be dog lovers par excellence. They live and breathe for their Pugs and are proud to show them off in public. They are also more likely to have a high level of breed knowledge — an excellent sign for a breeder. Breed club membership There are lots of breed clubs out there that breeders can register with. These clubs have rules, regulations, and membership fees. If your breeder is registered with the Pug Dog Club of America, this is a great sign showing commitment to the Pug breed. Recognition awards Lastly, we look out for awards! Institutions like the AKC recognize the efforts and achievements of top breeders. The very best will be awarded the AKC recognition of merit award. During this time we recommend getting everything ready before your new arrival rattles through the front door. Your puppy will need: a crate for sleeping and training during the early days quality puppy-grade food a leash and harness plenty of toys You may also wish to purchase a puppy gate if there are areas of your home that you want to keep your Pug away from. This is all about making your home as safe as possible for your new arrival. Make sure anything that could potentially cause harm to your pup is removed. Clear your schedule Having a Pug puppy is a bit like having a human baby. So make sure to clear your schedule and get all of those errands done ahead of time! Once they arrive… 4. Avoid crowds Hold your excitement. That means no crowds. Try to keep the home environment as stress-free as possible so that your puppy can settle in and start to feel part of the family. Crate training is the first step. Lay down a regular routine from the get to and your Pug will be good as gold in no time. They are full Vaccinate with heath certificate very healthy. So gentle and affectionate. I have two males and one female left out of a litter of 5. They have shots up to date, dewormed and AKC registered with health guarantee. Created in the s, the Labradoodle took the hybrid dog world by storm and paved the way for many other crosses using the Poodle. Poodles have a low-shedding coat, a trait that they usually pass on to their offspring. This makes hybrid breeds with a Poodle parent a great choice for those with allergies, who may not be able to own a dog breed that sheds heavily. Thanks to the fact that Poodles also come in three sizes—standard, miniature, and toy—they can be crossed easily with other dog breeds, from the large German Shorthaired Pointerpoodle to the tiny Cockapoo. As such, we can thank the Poodle for a huge number of designer hybrid breeds, many of which have gone on to become incredibly popular! Fully-grown German Shorthaired Pointers usually stand inches tall and weigh pounds. GSPs generally live for years. Although the other parent breed may affect this slightly, you should be able to expect a similar average life span from a German Shorthaired Pointer Mix. I'm impressed. I love my GSP! She knows how to work and is learning to be a phenomenal hunter even at such a young age. Pebbles has been the most amazing addition to our family. My children fell in love at 1st sight. After much hard work on our end of convincing "The Man" of the house that we needed her, she's taken over our hearts and our house ever since. She's brainwashed the children into giving her a multitude of hugs, kisses, belly rubs and bedtime snuggles. I will be forever grateful to Heather and James for blessing our family in a way that words can't begin to describe. Clearly, our continued return over the years is an attestation in and of itself of how pleased we've been with the dogs. While all 3 certainly have there own unique personalities, all of them have qualities in common that would bring us back again in the future: They are incredibly smart, they are easy to work with and train, they've been loving and incredibly trustworthy with our children, and, of course, all 3 demonstrate innate instinct and true joy for the hunt. Submitted by: Eric on Dec 21, Bought 5 month old gap. Tons of drive, bold, birdy. Also a joy to have in the house. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help and answer any questions you have. And for the dogs themselves they are awesome hunters and great also family dogs. Thanks again rose point kennels! Submitted by: Allison on Dec 20, James and Heather were wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable and quality pup. He was very shy, but full of energy. He is very loving to all of my family. I had him hunting 2 days after I got him and he has been to South Dakota the last 3 years. He points solid and is a retrieving machine. He loves to be around the family. He has been easy to train on an invisible fenced yard, with what areas of the house are off limits and we can't imagine not having Silver as a part of our family. James did a great job showing off his skills prior to purchase and was willing to meet me closer to my house for drop off of the dog. He chipped him for me. James has also provided really good nutrition advice as well as support via online communication. I highly recommend Rose Point for a loving pet that will perform really well in the field. Our pup had wonderful natural ability we were able to work with and he is now a great hunting dog. He is well on his way to achieving more titles and not only that, he is great in the everyday hunting field. We couldn't imagine hunting without his aide! James and Heather are very up front and clear on what they expect from us as owners and were very helpful with any questions we have. We really appreciate their continued support! Not only that but they offer other services like grooming, boarding and hunt training. If we need any of these things it is so much easier to bring our dog to a familiar place and feel confident that he is being properly taken care of! Submitted by: Tiffany Taylor on Dec 20, Rose point breeds exceptionally great dogs. Our gsp is one of the best we have owned.
