They were bred to be lap dogs and originally were the companions of Chinese royalty. Of course, there is no breed called Chinese pugs. They have brown eyes and a funny face. But are they a little too much to take? A Bit Much to Handle? Well, truth be told they can be chaotic little canines. They are very popularly hyper and notorious for their ability to pee on the floor when not trained well. They are energetic little dogs that are always ready to play. But this excitement is what makes pugs a really recommended breed for families with children. They are also good with other dogs when socialized at an early age. In fact, they are not too easily scared of big dogs either. So, if you already have a canine in the house, a pug might still be a good fit even though it is a toy dog breed. Related: Do Pugs Shed? Frederick Cogez was woken up about 8. When Mr Cogez ran downstairs in his Marcus Beach home, he found a 2-metre carpet python fully wrapped around his dog, which had a bite to its foreleg. Mr Cogez's wife, Shamin, called police who advised he should hit the python on the head with a broom. While he had had snake encounters, there had never been one this close. The python was easily hidden in the Noosa garden and has since been relocated by a snake catcher. Dr Zurek said it was common for pythons to try and eat kittens, but she had not heard of one attacking a dog. I recommend the 2-quart size for one or two big dogs. This size is also a good size for a puppy. I use two snaps to stabilize the bucket. Though wire crates usually have a divider so that you can size the crate down, we recommend that you go ahead and purchase a 24 inch wire crate along with the correct size for your dog when he is grown. Most puppies can use the 24 inch crates for about 2 months after they are weeks of age. It is also helpful to have a smaller crate when traveling. If you get one of these pens, set your pen up so that the door opens to the outside.
