I continue to develop relationships with other local breeders and work together in providing healthy and well socialized dogs. Do I know everything? Absolutely not. Am I hesitant to reach out to others for their opinion? The more information I retrieve, the better doggo mom I will become. We own a horse farm and offer therapeutic services as a part of our programming. Our dogs love this and their interactions with our clients. They are not kenneled and are very much a part of our family. Our Shepherds run free on our property and sleep in our home. We know them so well that we can even tell their snores apart. We feed raw and offer Normans Naturals which is a locally made kibble. Feeding raw is huge for me. I have seen such a difference in our Shepherds health over time and it has had a considerable impact on me. I do have some princess traits such as I prefer a cottage over a tent and the thought of butchering large amounts of raw meat leaves me gagging and green in the face. However, I push through my discomfort and do cut up large bodies of venison each fall in order to stock my chest freezers for the year for my dogs. I am willing to do what ever it takes to offer a healthy life for my animals. I have always admired dilute Shepherds and have recently expanded our breeding lines to include the magnificent Blue Shepherd. One day I hope to also have Liver and Panda Shepherds too!
