Remember that whatever you teach your dog in their puppy-hood is likely to stick with them for their lifetime, so be consistent and start the training as early as you step into your house with them. Conflicting actions that confuse the dog If one time you laugh at them jumping at you but then you yell at them when they jump on your child, that will confuse the dog.
