Parti Labradoodle What is a parti labradoodle? Parti labradoodles are two color dogs. Genetically the dog is the color, so a black and white parti labradoodle is technically a black labradoodle that expresses parti. The parti portion is the white coloring over the other color much like a swiss cheese pattern allowing the other color to come thru. Phantoms may be either black Labradoodles or Chocolate Labradoodles. Dexter is a chocolate phantom Labradoodle. Tri A tri colored Labradoodle is a phantom plus white. A tri Labradoodle may be black or chocolate. This is Tawnee who is a black tri. Sable A sable Labradoodle has each single hair in their coat banded by color. Each strand of hair has two colors. The tip of the strand will be either black or brown and the color at the root may be red, tan or apricot. Once the strands start to grow out, the change color becomes visible. The amount of time it takes to see the second color varies from birth through to about six weeks of age. Since Labradoodles do not shed, at least as little as any dog is capable of not shedding, they do not generally grow new strands of hair. These dogs are born milk chocolate and will develop their parchment coloring over time. The nose pigment is rose. Red True reds should be rich and dark in color and the roots should be no lighter. Sadly, this coat color tends to fade over time. The nose color is to be black. This color develops over the first years. Nose pigment should be rose. Chalk This color is a white looking color. However, if you were to compare it to a true white, it would appear to be more chalk-white in color. Nose pigment is black. Black Black Labradoodles should be solid in color with no sprinklings of other colors throughout the coat. Their pigment color should be black. Silver These pups would start out black and their silver coloring develops over the first few years of their lives. The color range can be anywhere from a light pewter to a dark charcoal. Silver dogs need to have black pigmentation. The blue coat will develop over the first few years. The color should be solid once they are full grown. It should be a dark-medium smoky blue. Lavender This color has a smoky lavender chocolate coloring that almost gives off a pink to lilac appearance. These pups are born chocolate and will come into their beautiful lavender coats over the first few years. Their pigmentation should be rose in color. Parti These dogs need to be at least fifty percent white, with spots or patches of any other above solid color. Full or partial saddles are acceptable, but are not preferred. Ticking in the white of the coat is acceptable but not preferred. The nose pigment needs to match the solid color. Any combination of acceptable colors is allowed. Nose pigment should follow requirements listed above based on the solid base color. Apricot Cream: With apricot colored ears, these Labradoodles have a lightly shaded coat. The color is usually warm cream with black nose pigment. Red: The rarest color of Labradoodle coat shades, these pups have a black nose pigment. They are also the hardest to breed. Cream: When born, these Labradoodles are slightly darker. Later they turn to a warm cream color. The nose pigment is black or rose colored. Raven Black: Born in a black coat, these Labradoodles have black nose pigment with shiny eyes. Sometimes their coat color can turn more of a silvery color over time. Light Blue: These Labradoodles are like black. When these pups mature, their fur color lightens and turns to a light blue or grey color. Parti Color: Often known as Parti Labradoodles, these pups have large swatches of white color. Red, black, or chocolate spots on a white coat are the most common. Phantom: These pups have secondary color markings near their eyes, chest, and chin. The Phantom Labradoodle has a combination of two colors, ideally black with a gold phantom. This color can do some interesting things! It can fade into at least three distinct, official Labradoodle colors! Go figure!! I have had one of my chocolate girls turn completely Lavender on her body but not the head, then within a year, go completely back to dark chocolate. So, like a good Boy Scout, when you purchase a chocolate Labradoodle, be prepared for anything! All are lovely, but they are almost impossible to predict with any significant degree of accuracy. Once again, be prepared for anything! Chocolate Colors Now we get to the fun part; the color combinations! This is where things get interesting. Partis can come in any color, with either color nose. Some are mostly white, while some have lots of color and less white. The ones that are mostly white are called "Extreme" Partis. The variations are endless and unique, like a snowflake. The colors, such as chocolate, on a parti can change in the same ways that they would on a solid dog. Often confused with "Parti" is a dog with heavy white mismarks or a Tuxedo. White mismarks can be very small or very heavy, or anywhere in-between. The puppy is born either Black or Chocolate and immediately begins to lose the dark color, revealing anything from a cream to a red underneath! The tips of the fur may retain their dark cast, but the dog will present as somewhere on the cream-red spectrum. I have included her picture below showing her in the middle of the changing process. If your French Bulldog has blood coming from its Anus, you, like anybody, would be worried. Bleeding from the rectum can be a serious condition that your Frenchie is experiencing. Just inside your Frenchies anus are two scent glands. Usually, these scent glands emit a small quantity of odour on the fecal matter as it passes. Creating a distinct smell that tells other dogs who the poo belongs to. A dog can also emit from their anal glands in reaction to fear and anger — if you have ever been in the vicinity of anal gland liquid, you will know of its scent, which can be described as a foul fishy smell. How Does Anal Abscess Develop? Your Frenchies anal glads can become impaired when an obstruction in the duct passes from the glands to the Anus. The common causes of obstruction throughout the duct include producing softer stool or diarrhea infections that lead to the inflammation of the sac and duct. Interestingly, worms and parasites are not the cause of inflammation of the anal glands. That being said, when an anal gland infection occurs, your Frenchies rectum can become sore and swollen and often lead to an abscess. As well as, there may be bleeding from the Anus. Anal gland infection occurs when obstruction of the duct causes inflammation to the local area. Symptoms of Anal Gland Issues When this occurs, your Frenchie may show signs of anal gland issues, the most common one being: Bleeding and swelling near the anal region Excessive licking of the anal area and hind end Straining to defecate Releasing a sudden foul fishy odour Leaking of anal gland fluid Scooting and discomfort of the rear end why does my dog drip blood after pooping How Is It Treated You may not be up to the challenge; however, this method can be performed at home if you feel confident doing this. It is highly recommended that your vet show you how to do this for the first time. You should have a second person around to help your Frenchie stand still while performing the procedure. Expressing poorly can create irritation and contribute to more issues, so ensure that you can execute tasks appropriately. Below is a video that explains the process. A vet or a professional groomer can solve this problem by expressing the enlarged glands. Parvovirus Parvovirus is a known medical condition that affects puppies, and it can affect French Bulldog puppies as well. This condition is very known because it can be fatal to a pooch. This is very difficult and sad to hear, but it is the reality of this illness. The pooch will have, among other things, bloody poop and even bloody diarrhea. The interesting thing is that parvo poop has a different smell to it than a regular stool. This is also one of the ways you can figure out that your pooch has parvovirus. There might be ways to cure parvovirus without a vet , but we would definitely recommend you take your pooch to an expert. You can see them without a problem. Sometimes, it can be harder, especially if the dog has a long coat. Other times, they can be quite visible, and if your dog has a short coat, this is a big relief because you might not even need to look for them… you may even be able to notice them before you notice the bloody stool. This is not something that is dangerous for your dog, but it can make them uncomfortable. As pet owners, we will do anything to make our dogs as comfortable as possible, so this problem needs to be solved as well… not ignored. Colitis Colitis is a problem that can affect humans, dogs, cats, and many other animals. There can be a lot of things that can cause colitis to appear with your dog, but the main things are stress and anxiety. The stool will be loose, and in many cases, it will have some bright red blood in it. Kidney Failure Kidney failure is a very serious condition, and it can be fatal for the dog, especially if you do not take the dog to the vet quickly. In this case, the stool of your dog will have very dark blood and a lot of mucous. The dog will appear very sick and weak. This can also be a symptom of other illnesses, but whatever the cause is, you need to make sure that your dog is checked by the vet immediately. Usually, kidney failure is connected with some kidney problem that appeared before the failure. When it comes to it, when you look at parents, do they look like the dog you dream to own? What do the titles mean? Given only to a group of outstanding German shepherds at a Sieger show. Poor quality dogs but of tolerable character. Given to dogs with faulty character or serious faults, ungraded. Why is this important? While a breed standard for a German Shepherd Dog is clearly written and can be found online, we must understand why some dogs rank higher, why some are disqualified and what to look for. One way to do so - is to look at dog or images of the dog shows yourself. The more dogs you see, the better you understand the quality of the breed. We believe that if a person can not see a difference, and to them "a dog is a dog", they most likely are better off adopting a dog from a shelter anyway. To us, the difference between well-bred and poorly-bred dog is tremendous, and just by looking at the images of parents or puppies, we can see where the breeding is going and what potential a puppy has. Please note, that we are not for breeding "the best looking dogs" only - No! They all are equally important. A good responsible breeder will do anything possible to stay as close to the breed standard as possible and eliminate breed faults from their breeding. Parents with papers should have puppies that have papers as well. I'm also guessing mom and dad don't really have papers either, because papers come to puppies with papered parents. Answer by Kayleigh Let me explain what happened to us. I was young at the time and didn't realize what "limited" rights were. This means the woman who sold me my puppy would not give me the right to register my purebred GSD as a purebred GSD unless I got her spayed. We bought her with the intention of eventually breeding and keeping some puppies for ourselves but also selling a few. I would be breeding my dog with a purebred GSD who is registered, but since I cannot register my dog due to this lady's way of giving me limited rights I would not be able to register the pups either. She is our rescue dog. I got a blood test done that shows she is a purebred German Shepherd, but there is no way of knowing whether she was registered or not. We are going to breed her with one of my friend's purebred German Shepherd males. I was thinking of selling the puppies for around , which is about 1, dollars cheaper than what they are selling registered puppies for in this area.
