Poodle Doodle: What is a Doodle dog? A Doodle is any kind of mixed-breed dog that has a Poodle in his ancestors. The suffix -doodle is added to any breed that is crossed with a Poodle. A Labrador crossed with a Poodle is a Labradoodle. A Boxer crossed with a Poodle is a Boxerdoodle. A Schnauzer crossed with a Poodle is a Schnoodle, and so on. Doodles are not recognized with the AKC as a dog breed. There is no set breed standard for any Doodle cross.
