Visible space between the head of the femur and the pelvis — Sometimes you can feel the excessive space when you cannot see it. Crying out in pain — Even if it has not progressed yet to degenerative joint disease, joint looseness can be painful. With the nice weather, the puppies get to play outside every day. We heard from the families of the puppies who are in their new homes, and they are all doing great. Many have other pets in the home and they are all getting along wonderfully. A couple of photos below are from their new homes. Black Red Kona's puppies are 7 weeks old and becoming more confident. They love playing with their mom but like to gather at out feet.
