More than other breeds, the bulldog mother may need your help with nursing, feeding and weaning pups. Bulldog Pregnancy and Birth A typical bulldog pregnancy lasts around 63 days. The bulldog's physical shape means that many dogs are unable to give birth to their puppies without assistance -- the female bulldog's pelvis is very narrow and each puppy's head is very large. When puppies are born by caesarean section, the mother dog does not get the full physical and hormonal cues telling her body that the puppies have been born. After a caesarean section, you will need to milk the mother dog's colostrum to feed the newborn pups. This special milk, produced only for a short time after birth, contains antibodies that are important to the health of the newborn pups. If the mother's colostrum is unavailable, you can substitute a commercial colostrum formula. Twenty-four hours after being born, the puppies can drink commercial puppy milk formula if the mother is unable to nurse. Ideally, the puppies will nurse from their mother as soon as possible after being born. Those puppies nursing within the first 12 hours after being born have the best survival chances. Nursing Schedule In the first four to five days, newborn bulldog puppies need to nurse every two hours. It may look as though the pups are feeding more often -- or even constantly -- because not all the mother dog's teats will carry milk at the same time. As they get older, they will need to feed less frequently. Make sure that all the puppies get their turn at the teat during feeding time -- sometimes the larger or stronger pups will push aside smaller or weaker puppies. Bottle Feeding If you are bottle-feeding the puppies, you'll need to do so every two hours, day and night, until they are 6 days old. After that, the puppies can go to a feeding schedule of six to eight feedings every day until they are 3 weeks old, and four feedings daily beyond that point. At each feeding, a puppy should receive 1cc of prepared formula milk for every ounce of its body weight. Transition to Food Around 1 month after birth, puppies typically start eating some soft foods, although they will continue to nurse from the mother until they reach 8 weeks old. As puppies start eating soft foods, you will need to clean out each puppy's facial wrinkles -- the puppies and the mother may be unable to clean their wrinkles completely. If soft food gets stuck in a puppy's wrinkles, it may develop infection or sores. Typically, the mother dog will start to wean the dogs between 5 weeks and 7 weeks after birth. At this point, you can start introducing hard foods such as puppy kibble. More Articles. Below is baby english bulldog puppies week by week. Week 3 The third week of life is a big week as major, physical development and progress are made during this week. The baby bulldogs should begin cracking their eyes open and begin developing their new found eyesight. Increased visibility adds a small level of independence that is certainly appreciate. The young puppies are now able to locate their mother and nurse more consistently on their own. During this week, we most often make the decision to leave the litter with their mother permanently. Mom will take on the responsibility of not only nursing the puppies but also cleaning up after them. This also means we are able to get a full night of sleep! What do we look for in a good Bulldog mother? Bulldog mom has to have a genetically clean pedigree history. We make sure each bulldog line that we produce has the best chance to stay healthy and happy. Bulldog mom has to have a great personality. We demand that all the bulldogs we own are extremely confident and great with both children and other pets. Breeding bulldogs with great personalities is very important as many social traits are passed from the parents to the baby. Bulldog mom has to have a great maternal instinct. Because the babies are so vulnerable we try to select and keep female English Bulldogs that show endearing and caring traits towards their babies. Week 4 Week four is our walking week! While bulldog puppies do begin to walk earlier at times, typically during week four we begin to see some major walking. The new found mobility is a joy to watch but does present some different types of responsibility as our bulldog puppies certainly can get themselves into trouble! During this week, we will start to perform some basic socialization steps to ensure that they are prepared for their new homes. Week 5 The puppies are now able to run, chew, and yes, sometimes bite! With the physical progress there are certainly ample teaching opportunities to develop these little guys into well behaving bulldogs. During this time we continue to analyze each puppy socially and develop unique, social profiles of each bully. The puppies start to focus less on physical survival and devote much of their time to playing with their littermates. This is a great learning environment for the puppies! This mushy treat quickly becomes a favorite for the pups. A robust bulldog puppy can now weigh around 5 pounds. The puppies will also undergo their first round of vet checks to ensure they are developing physically sound bodies. Socially, we continue work with the puppies to ensure they are exposed to the many different environments of the new homes they will be going to all while balancing a high level of biosecurity to ensure they are not exposed to harmful diseases to ensure for a healthy English Bulldog! The puppies are now old enough and confident enough in themselves to begin developing expectations. Being held and being fed are no longer special occasions rather they are rights to life that are demanded. We continue to provide the high level of care that we hold ourselves to while developing flexibility within each bulldog pup. Week 8 The theme for week 8 is adoption preparation. We will make a decision with our vet the age in which the bulldogs are able to be taken home. The primary variable within this decision is physical development. Most of our bulldogs will go home right around the end of week 9 all the way to week .It simply depends on the bulldog. At this point we encourage our adopters to finish prepping for their puppy. Erica and Mitch of Bruiser Bulldogs are just that. They are experienced, ethical and quality breeders. I was referred to them by my friend that I trust after I saw their gorgeous healthy puppy. Our Puppy Primrose is the light of our lives! Bruisers was there to assist us every step of the way. We would highly recommend Bruisers Bulldogs to anyone looking for their own happy, healthy pup! Leah H. We were lucky to have come across Bruiser Bulldogs and even more so the fact that they were near our family and hometown made it even better. We have had Clementine Callie for four months now, and she is a wonderful dog. Her personality is amazing, and I think part of it is breeding and the other part is Erika and her family lovingly raising the puppies in their home with plenty of attention and snuggles. I also was impressed that, rather than send the puppies out right at 8 weeks, Erika kept ours for a few extra weeks because she was tiny and not read to leave her mom yet. It's that care that differentiates Bruisers from other breeders. Emily R. Erica was easy to work with thru the entire process from application to adopting and now beyond as we host our new family member, Chief. Her on-call support and willingness to provide open, honest advice to all of our questions and concerns continues to be appreciated. We would highly recommend Bruiser Bulldogs to anyone looking for an English Bulldog to join their family. Elizabeth W. Lady L. They are experienced, responsive and knowledgeable about all things bulldog related. They went above and beyond for us and are truly dedicated to all of their pups! We love our little girl so much and would recommend Bruiser to anyone looking for a healthy beautiful bully. Jonathan E. Erica and Mitch are trustworthy, excellent communicators, fair, passionate, and produce the best bulldogs. We were at the top of the waiting list for months and Erica reached out every litter to see if we were finally ready for a bulldog. When we were, she was very easy to work with. Her knowledge on bulldogs is outstanding. We had many questions on the process and she always knew what was best for the puppy. We've had Penny formerly Blair for two months and she is very healthy, energetic, playful, and sweet. She is great with other people and dogs. We are so happy with our pup. When we are ready for bulldog 2, we will only consider Bruiser Bulldogs. Mitch C. Bowser was born April and is an integral part of our family. When we were first exploring English Bulldog breeders our biggest concern was the overall health of the dogs. We decided to work with Erica at Bruiser Bulldogs because we liked their focus on improving the breeds breathing abilities and the fact that the puppies are raised within her family environment before coming home with their new owners. Bowser also breaths clearly and our vet was impressed with his overall health from the moment we brought him home. All that said we know English Bulldogs have a predisposition to many health issues and that his current health can not predict the future. With that In mind its important to start with a breeder that open to answer any of your questions as Erica has ours, and that strongly believes in improving the breeds overall health profile. Adam B. My sister ended up finding Bruiser Bulldogs and we knew right away that they were the breeder for us. In September we ended up driving 9 hours to pick up two Bruiser bulldog puppies- one for my husband and I and one for my mom. Jackson and Penelope have been nothing but a joy. They are both very athletic and healthy. They are also HUGE snugglers and always want to be with you. It is an absolute pleasure having these two bullies in our lives! Erica is very knowledgeable about the breed. She is very hands on throughout the process and is just overall a kind and honest person to work with. With all that being said I cannot recommend Bruiser Bulldogs enough! Collyn C. One of the reasons we chose Bruiser Bulldogs was due to the claims about breeding for health. During our first visit at our vet's office, he told us that our pup was one of the healthiest English bulldogs he had ever seen. He is healthy, happy and social. Would recommend to anyone. Christina S. We seen our dog on their website and sent them an Email. Mitch called us and personally walked us through the process and made sure we had the right dog for our family. We couldn't be happier when we picked up our dog Ramsey, Erica made sure we had everything we needed and then some. They are truly amazing people who breed truly amazing dogs! Jim T. The body wrinkles may be visible on their legs, and the skin may seem a bit baggy on their body, but it is still challenging to determine the actual build of the puppy. Their builds become a bit more apparent as they begin to stand and walk, giving you a glimpse of their stance. The nervous system is rapidly developing at this time, and vision is also beginning to grow. Interaction matters, even at this young age. This sets the stage for how well they will bond. Their builds become more apparent, and the skin and wrinkles really begin to develop. Baby teeth are usually all in around weeks. This is when many pups will go through the finger-chewing puppy stage. They eat more every day as they go through various stages of digestion in preparation for the first solid food introduction around this time. They begin to fill out as they transition from milk to dry food and complete the weaning process. At about 8 weeks, your puppy has just started getting used to sleeping through the night. You may notice that their legs look a bit long and thin. This is because their legs are generally the first area of growth in preparation for the weight they will maintain throughout their lives. Your puppy is ready for adventure and has a great passion for exploring and playing with toys and their littermates. You can begin training your puppy at the latter part of this age. With this, their heads may appear too small for their bodies, which is perfectly normal and usually only lasts a few months. As a 16 week old English Bulldog, your pup is entering adolescence. Hold on for this. You might see chewing, not listening, and barking. You will see a resurgence of teething as the puppy teeth fall out and the adult set comes in. Much like humans, this can cause pain and irritation as the teeth push through the gums. Here again, you may see that their legs appear long and skinny for a month or two, and the entire process starts again. Adolescence is at its peak, around seven months. You may see an increase in rebelliousness, stubbornness, and not listening. For the most part, puppyhood has completed its course. The stages of growth for your English bulldog above are all estimates. There are certain ailments that are common in the English Bulldog. In fact, because of drastic changes in appearance over the years, they are susceptible to a large number of diseases and more than many other dog breeds. Feeding them nutritious food will help keep them within the target weight appropriate for their age. This plays a part when it comes to maintaining that healthy weight range. Getting your dog out for a walk also gets you out and active as well! Spaying And Neutering Weight gain and lethargy are common worries following either surgery, but a causal link has not been found between the two. Many times the surgery takes place when the puppy is in the midst of rapid development and growth, so the weight gain could simply be caused by normal development. However, consider consulting your veterinarian about any worries or questions you might have. A male English Bulldog typically weighs more than a female English Bulldog so expect this discrepancy. Having your Bulldog get overweight can lead to hip dysplasia, cancer, osteoarthritis, high blood pressure, liver disease, diabetes, or even heatstroke. By the time they turn one, most English bulldogs will stop growing. However, most of their growth and development has taken place during their first year of life. Are English Bulldogs good pets? English Bulldogs are wonderful pets to have as they are loyal and a great conversation starter. At what age do English Bulldogs start walking? Around week 4, English Bulldogs start to walk. The early care and environment of the English Bulldog newborn puppy are very important. Reasons a English Bulldog puppy might die early on are usually due to difficult whelping, congenital or genetic defects, environmental factors i. Things to have handy in case of an emergency: a box of Amoxi-Drops anti-diarrhea medication like Biosol, Kaolin-Pectin, or Neo-Pectilin thermometer Karo syrup or honey tube feeding kit 10 feeding tube and 10cc feeding syringe several cans of puppy formula like Esbilac; however, it is very important that a English Bulldog puppy get its mother's milk if at all possible during the first 5 days to protect it from infection and give it antibodies from the mother's milk You can purchase pre-made formula from your vet and outside of the mother's milk, it is best. However, the following formula is cheaper and provides all the nutrition. It's been used by many people and gives good results: l can Carnation evaporated milk some prefer canned goat's milk. Many use it instead of evaporated milk - both can be found in the bakery section of your grocery store. If this seems to be, change to bottled water to make the formula. Keeping the litter box tempature between degrees with no drafts for the first few days is usually adequate. Other sources of warmth can be heating pads or heat lamps. If using a heating pad, monitor the intensity of heat, as pups have been known to cook on pads set on high settings! There are many excellent heat lamps on the market, but remember that caution is needed. Heat lamps have been known to start fires! The temperature on the English Bulldog puppies 1 inch above the bottom of the box should be about degrees with a corner that is slightly cooler and allow them to scoot to wherever they like best. There should also be plenty of clean blankets, as this will allow for regulation of temperature. If a English Bulldog puppy has its mouth open, it's too hot. If a English Bulldog puppy is too cool, it often won't show anything - but it can be deadly. Hydration is one of the most important things to monitor in new bulldog pups, as it can be one of the first signs of problems. Check hydration by by pinching the skin on the back of the neck or on the top of the back. If the pinched skin stays creased, the English Bulldog puppy is dehydrated and needs fluid replacement. Also, a dehydrated bulldog pup's coat will sometimes have a ruffled or scruffy appearance. Dehydration can either be a result of inadequate nourishment, too much heat, or sickness. It is strongly suggested that you use regular newborn or infant bottles and nipples. The ones available for purchase for cats, dogs, ferrets, etc. Bottle feeding is far more preferable. The sucking on a nipple, the handling and holding of the English Bulldog puppy is so very important to their overall development. The English Bulldog puppy should be held with his head upwards and his body and tail down in a 45 to 90 degreee angle when bottle feeding. If English Bulldog puppies and their blankets are not kept clean, it is very easy to come down with a staph infection and diarrhea - which is serious, as bulldog puppies can go downhill quickly. As mentioned before, it is equally serious if the English Bulldog puppies get chilled so avoid drafts. Even if you have them in a basket with a heating pad, you need to cover the basket with a towel to keep out drafts. A chilled English Bulldog puppy must be warmed up. Put it in a pocket so that it's warm and jiggled as you walk around, or if you are a woman put it in your bra for your body heat. There are lots of little ways to accomplish it. Don't worry about feeding formula to a chilled English Bulldog puppy because it will have the opposite effect: their body cannot handle the food and makes it all the worse for the English Bulldog puppy. Priority should be to get the bulldog puppy warmed up slowly. Newborn English Bulldog puppies cannot regulate their body temperature or body functions like urinating and stools. It is important that they are pottied at each feeding. They might not have a stool each time, but they will urinate. This is what the mother does when she licks them. But some mothers don't want to be bothered, especially the first few days. After that, she will become a good mommy. Some might start off being good, then after a few days, or even a couple of weeks, not want to be bothered and might even be nasty to the puppies such as snapping and biting them. Always be careful and watch. Don't leave her alone until the bulldog pups are big enough not to be laid on, or big enough that you know that the bitch is a good mother. If the mother will not clean the babies, you must be sure to do it. Using a kleenex, gently rub the area to stimulate their potty. Then be sure to clean them well. Make sure to check them even if the mother cleans them. Often the stool will get stuck to the tail and be dry. If that happens, or if the English Bulldog puppy seems to be straining and constipated, try the following: Run warm water in the sink slowly. Put a drop of soap on their behinds, and wash and massage their behinds; it will get the tail and poop unstuck, clean them up, and cause them to potty very well. Make sure they are well rinsed, and dried thoroughly so they don't get chilled. If the little bottoms are red and sore, use some Desitin ointment. You may see green puppy stools and stools that have an appearance of bunches of tiny seeds. If all else seems normal, this seems to be harmless and short-lived. However, watery diarrhea can be very serious if left unchecked. There can be many causes, like the mother's diet, or infection. Diarrhea together with vomiting usually means infection. For the first 3- 5 days an average English Bulldog puppy ouncer will take about 10 cc's every hours. It should be broken into feedings every 2 hours 5cc per feeding. If it is a good sized bulldog puppy 1 lb. Towards the end of a week, you should increase the food needed to about cc or more. For the first week they should eat every two hours. If they are good size bulldog babies, you can sometimes go longer. By the second week, as long as you don't have any problems and they are of good size, you can usually go hours between feedings. An average weight for newborn English Bulldog puppies is around ounces. Good size puppies are oz.

It needs cleaning! We definitely hate when we need to vacuum the house! Combining a powerful cleaning system with intelligent sensors, our robots move seamlessly through your home, adapting to the surroundings to thoroughly vacuum your floors, leaving you with more time for what's important — spending time with your dog! Show more But, this dog does not like this vacuum cleaner. She finds it suspicious and weird, so she attacks it, trying to defend her family from this odd looking self-cleaning vacuum cleaner. Everyone keep calm, but there is a monster in the house. Luckily Lily is here to take care of it! Now, this is a true battle of a true hero; Lily is here to rescue the family. She is here to take care of this monster. She tries to scare it off, and push the vacuum out of the living room, but nothing seems to work! For some dogs, the vacuum is a standout amongst the terrifying things in the house. Some dog owners find this entertaining mainly because it appears to be so foolish, yet you should consider your puppy's feelings of fear important. The initial step is to realize why your puppy fears the vacuum — at that point, you can figure out how to function with or through your pooch's fear. Silly little doggies! This labrador puppy hides from the vacuum cleaner and the look on his face is priceless! The cute month Labrador puppy does not have those manifestations we were talking about. But, we all must admit that his reaction is priceless! What an adorably childish thing to do little pup! It involves a Roomba and a fresh pile of dog poop so if you're eating something right now, you may want to pause for a bit , and the outcome is far worse than what you're imagining—trust us. It's taken me until now to wrap my head around it and find the words to describe the horror," wrote Jesse Newton, from Arkansas, in a 1,word tale of woe he posted to Facebook earlier this week. He then sets the scene, explaining that his dog, Evie, ahem, relieved herself in the living room sometime between midnight and a. Unfortunately, at the same time, the family's Roomba also happened to be cleaning since he programs it to vacuum while the family sleeps. You can guess what happened next: A horror that Jesse now calls "The Pooptastrophe. The Poohpocalypse. The Pooppening. Literally, everywhere. As a warning to other Roomba-using dog owners, Jesse wrote: "Poop will be on your floorboards. It will be on your furniture legs. It will be on your carpets. It will be on your rugs. It will be on your kids' toy boxes. If it's near the floor, it will have poop on it too. After cleaning off his child and putting him back to bed, the real work began. When you push it up to the rug—the rug that started it all—the shampooer just laughs at you. Because that rug is going in the trash, folks. But you shampoo it anyway, because your wife loved that damn rug, and you know she'll ask if you tried to clean it first. It didn't end well though, because in a moment of panic, he put the whole device battery included in the bathtub to soak. You hope your kid stayed in bed, because if he hears you talking like this, there's no way he's not ending up in prison," he wrote. Then out comes the steam mop, and you take care of those foot poop trails. Jesse, now known as the victim of a Roomba gone rogue, ended up getting a brand-new Roomba for free from the company that originally sold him the one that ultimately suffered a smelly, water-logged demise. There's only one problem: your adorable puppy had an accident while you were gone, and your robot vacuum ran straight through a major poop while it was cleaning up. So instead of coming home to a clean space, you arrive to find Fido's accident spread all across your kitchen floor. Way to go from bad to worse! Pet Owner Official Promise guarantee—if the robot vacuum runs through solid cat or dog pet waste within the first year of use, they will replace it. That's a pretty big promise, so of course we had to put it to the test. How We Tested: I placed a dollop of chocolate pudding in the middle of my kitchen floor, held my breath, and hit "Vacuum Everywhere" on the iRobot app. The vacuum identified the chocolate mess I could actually see it pause for a moment to register it , then proceeded to clean everything around the chocolate pudding, maintaining about a two-inch radius between the mess and the edge of the vacuum as it maneuvered around. Courtesy of Erin Johnson After the cleaning cycle finished, the iRobot app showed me a picture of the chocolate mess and asked if it was a temporary obstacle or a permanent one. If it was permanent, like a power strip on the floor, it would create a "keep out" zone. Since it was temporary, I marked it as such so that the vacuum won't always skip that spot on the kitchen floor. In a similar scenario to the one above, I came home late from work one night to see that my elderly Chihuahua had missed the wee pad by a good bit and left her own dollop of poop on my kitchen floor. It expertly avoided my pup's poop. I was absolutely in awe. Once again, after the clean, the iRobot app asked me if this was a temporary obstacle, and I confirmed. Set-up is quick and straightforward. I've tested other robot vacuums that took up to 45 minutes to set up. It was ready to use in just a few minutes. It also allows you to name your robot vacuum, so I lovingly named mine Fancy, and I actually enjoyed getting updates about Fancy's performance while using the app. It maps and learns your home. Before it vacuums for the first time, the Roomba will create a map of your home by showing itself around and learning its perimeters. You can even opt in to a program that will allow it to take pictures of obstacles so that it can keep learning your home over time. In addition to successfully avoiding pet poop, the Roomba identified several cords in my home and allowed me to create "keep out zones," since they are permanent obstacles. At first, it only mapped my living room and bedroom because there's a slight incline between my kitchen and living room, so I placed it in my kitchen for the next run, and it added it to the map. It cleans up pet hair, dirt, and dust with ease. While you'll still have to rely on a broom to clean the nooks, crannies, and other hard-to-reach spaces around your home, this Alexa- and Google Home-compatible device delivers on its promise to do most of the work for you. The self-emptying base automatically disposes of the collected debris for up to 60 days and keeps the robot vac charged so you can set it and forget it. Courtesy of Erin Johnson It's self-emptying. No dust. No debris. No hairballs. I had no direct interaction whatsoever with the messes this thing sucked up from my floors. When the vacuum finishes its run, the base sucks up the debris into its bag, which you can easily replace as you see fit. It's worth noting that the suction noise the vacuum makes is quite loud and surprised both my dog and myself. While this vacuum does learn your home, it still ran into my baseboards several times. For a vacuum that so expertly avoids pet poop, I wish it would avoid permanent, larger obstacles with the same expertise. It also wasn't great at picking up cat litter on the first pass, so if you're a cat owner, know that it might take a few runs to pick up the debris that finds its way out of Mr. Whiskers' litter box. The team at iRobot says that the next phase of their technology will focus on avoiding other common small obstacles like crayons and socks that are often left lying around on the floor. Like an iPhone, you can update the software of your iRobot vacuum so that when that updated programming does come along, you won't need to buy a new vacuum. You can just update your current one. Shop it now on Amazon. Was this page helpful? So, knowing what vacuum is right for you really comes down to, well… you. Here are some considerations: How often do you vacuum now? Do you have high-pile carpet, medium-pile carpet or low-pile carpet? Or just hard floors? How tall is your furniture? You might want your robot to have a low profile and fit and vacuum underneath. Do you have a pet that sheds fur? Hello, dander. You might need some super strong suction power. Does your pet ever have accidents in your home? You might need a robot smart enough to avoid those accidents. Do you have children that make a lot of messes on the floor? You might also need a robot mop. What is your budget for a robot vacuum? We have a range of options here. How much of your cleaning up do you want to automate? We have lots of home automation ideas! Ultimately, the decision is yours, but asking yourself these questions can help put you on the right track to choosing the best robot vacuum for your life. What makes a great robot vacuum? There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to a good robot vacuum. You may not need all of the features that come with some, or you may need strong suction power, or need something that can avoid specific rooms or stop cleaning sessions at certain points in the day. But, we can say that a great robot vacuum has the right balance of helpful automation features, suction and agitation, and noise control, at the right price point. How do robot vacuums work? These rollers both scroll opposite of each other to draw in more of the larger particles. Since the first brush sort of scrubs at the carpet, it loosens up dirt and debris. The second brush picks it up to toss into the direct path of the suction and send it to the collection bin. Corner Cleaning Looking to ensure every square foot gets cleaned? Optical Mouse Sensor Several of our robots have mapping technology and utilize an optical mouse sensor. The optical mouse sensor works just like a computer mouse, which tracks the movement of the robot for mapping purposes to help transition between two types of flooring. Essentially, it detects a lack of flooring underneath it using the four sensors that line the bumper of the robot in the front there are 2 in the back. These brushes adjust to different floor types so picking up things like pet hair is a breeze. Can a robot vac replace my upright vacuum? Yes, and no. Not to mention that some of our robot vacuums are so intelligent that they actually learn your routine, the areas you use the most, and rooms they should stay out of or objects to avoid. The beauty of home automation Did we mention robot vacuums are intelligent? First, you have to shift everything in your closet just to get the thing out, then untangle the cord, navigate to your go-to plug the one that lets you vacuum the most amount of space in your home without changing outlets … you get the picture. Home automation of any kind — whether it be all of the lights in your home, your kitchen appliances , or your vacuum — is already a blessing enough. But when it also eliminates a chore at cleaning time!!!! Say no more. So you can get new features, personalized suggestions, a better understanding of your cleaning preferences, and more, just like a phone or a laptop would. We take it further than that though, because we know you need and deserve more. Smartphone app control? What if my vacuum breaks? The first option is our manufacturer warranty. Essentially, you have a full year after purchase to claim issues or defects in the materials or the manufacturing. For full warranty details, see the warranty page on our website. Extra protection? This could be anywhere from years of additional protection. Dog shedding season. There are plenty of things you can do to prevent this from happening well, at least reducing the amount of hair floating around , including: Using an air filter or air purifier to trap flying particles Grooming your pet daily with a pet hair removal brush Giving your pet a bath around shedding season, to get rid of a lot of the hair at once you can even use an anti-shedding shampoo Have a groomer shave your pet at the beginning of summer. Especially if you live in a hot climate even a little hair cut can help significantly with the hair loss Give your dog a healthy diet and even doggie vitamins to keep their coat nice and healthy just like humans, healthy hair sheds less often; though you should always check with your vet for individual pet needs Make designated areas of the house for your pet to stay in maybe this is the entire downstairs. Regularly wash fabrics in the wash, such as removable cushion covers that trap a lot of hair but are difficult to hand-clean Vacuum consistently. A new type of bulldog from the Aylestone kennels. Yes, a branch of the Aylestone bulldog family has evolved! Over the years various people have suggested that we aim the Aylestone Bulldog towards K. A concept that I am not altogether in favour of. I don't feel that his make up, physically and mentally, lends itself lends itself to such a project. I see his robust characteristics as making him more the bulldog of the people. However, the thought of a more svelte version of the Aylestone, of particular interest to serious breeders and owners looking for a goal driven challenge, was attractive. With the right protective boundaries I began to believe that a section of the Aylestone family could safely evolve into a show type bulldog. Of course, it was a pointless exercise unless the new bulldog was distinctly different to other bulldogs. A difficult problem to overcome. There was also the problem of resistance from traditionalists opposed to outcrosses. Imagination solves the first problem. As for the second, what the hell? China's Pups available now Every competent researcher is aware that over the years most, if not all breeds, receive infusions of fresh blood for many different reasons. Such facts of canine life are simply denied, ignored, forgotten or simply not talked about. So, why not go for it? I cast my mind back some thirty years to the early experimental development routes that were explored and discontinued with the Aylestones up in Shetland. I remembered one that I considered had intriguing possibilities… I now had my idea. My vision for our new bulldog. A proper bulldog is above all things essentially British in essence. So, a celebration of our Imperial past! The British Empire spanned the world and in truth took many benefits with it. Opened up all our minds. Our new bulldog is of the Empire. Dogs from the far Eastern reaches of the Empire married to the bulldog from the heartlands. East meets West! Why Pekinese and Shar Pei? Firstly, two outcrosses instead of one because I don't believe that one cross is a genuine new breed: just a cross. Also anyone else can quickly copy it. Permutations of two outcrosses take some unravelling! The Pekinese brings a short, cobby body, a proud tail and most importantly a short muzzle and an exuberant personality. The key and whole point of the project: the Shar Pei. The difference we were looking for: blue—black tongue, black or blue coat. Here at the Aylestone Home kennels we have been working for a number of years on the Rockhill project. Now at last the first puppies to be offered to the outside world are ready for their forever homes — contact us for more details. Contact Us. Thank you for your message! I will contact you shortly. Everything began with him… Bautz von der Trauerweide was a loyal and affectionate companion in my young days to me. He showed me, that a dog can make your life considerably happier! Black, brown and yellow dogs are bred in the Kennel v. Furthermore genetic testing on hereditary diseases and a DNA profile. Labradors live in my family since .I was infatuated with this dog. Her character, appearance and health developed as I imagine a Labrador to be. Up to this time 20 litters fell T-litter and the decision to downsize was made when our children left home one by one. My breeding goal is to breed healthy Labradors with a strong character, which will prove themselves at shows as well as in training. Although the Labrador is a hunting dog, he has proven himself in many other areas dummy, customs dog, rescue dog, disabled companion dog, therapy dog, etc. The training therefore offers many different possibilities to make him a well-balanced companion in life. Our puppies are born and raised in the house with family connection. At 4 weeks they move to the puppy room where they have access to the garden. Through the many years that I have been breeding now, friendships have developed even beyond the national border, which have now grown far beyond the Labbi virus. Thank you for that! Jutta Haldenwang, Labrador The placement of our Labrador puppies in their new family is very important to us. Are you interested in a Labrador puppy? Talk to us because we would be happy to advise you on the placement of a puppy or the purchase of your Labrador puppy. We can be reached by phone for an appointment, but a visit to the puppy room is certainly an even more interesting experience. Just visit us without obligation in the puppy parlor, here you can personally get to know your Labrador puppy and above all try out cuddles. Not sure if you are ready for a puppy? We offer you a lot of information before visiting our Competence Center at. Read the different topics so that you can acquire the knowledge you need before you buy. We are happy to answer your questions by phone. We know from experience how quickly you can fall in love with a puppy. We are there for you, happy to advise you on the character and breed-typical characteristics of the puppy. We would like to give them your puppies but also to exclude rash impulse purchases. Why do we do that? You can find that in our Principles. Our online shop will soon make a purchase possible, but a visit to the puppy parlor is also necessary here. We like the puppies as much as they do, so of course we don't send dogs! Character The Labrador is one of the most popular breeds when it comes to family dogs. They are friendly, good-natured intelligent, active, fun-loving dogs who like to show their affection for the owner. They do not need a permanent caregiver. But he also needs a lot of movement and time that you should spend with him. Labradors willingly enter into relationships with other animals and children. They are considered to be very adaptable. They are happy to take an active part in family life. A Labrador likes to bark to alert you to interesting facts or approaching strangers, but he doesn't get aggressive. Breed data.

Instagram About Us First and foremost we breed for health. We breed standard both standard and fancy color AKC miniature poodles. Expect to see both solid and parti poodles, reds, blacks and phantom coloring. We are not a kennel. All our dogs live with us in our home, or in Guardian homes so they can lead happy normal lives. We are a family run operation. My husband and I pour our heart and soul into these dogs. We are proud of our program and how we raise and care for our dogs. All our miniature poodle puppies are raised with a curriculum of enrichment and a diet that is designed to promote health and longevity. We believe in feeding a robust, diverse diet of fresh and raw foods. Although kibble is cost effective, it is hardly the best thing for your puppy. We will help you navigate the world of dog foods so that you can continue to promote good health for years to come. Please check out our Upcoming Litters page to see our availability. It was part of what is known as the "Super Dog" program. By working the puppies from day 3 to 16 through 5 exercises they found they could significantly improve their health as adults. ENS has the following life long benefits: Improved cardio vascular performance heart rate Stronger heart beats More tolerance to stress Greater resistance to disease We are also working with the puppies on Early Scent Introduction ESI. Dogs who receive ESI not only are able to preform scent work and compete in scent challenges earlier and with more accuracy than those who did not receive ESI but perhaps more importantly ESI actually improves the temperament of the dogs as adults when compared to puppies who did not receive ESI. These little exercises, done each day, make the biggest difference in your puppy. F1b have one purebred parent and one cavapoo parent. All our F1b have a poodle parent and a cavapoo parent. If it were a cavalier parent and a cavapoo parent the puppies would shed and may look like mix breed spaniels. Same for cavapoo to cavapoo. I like silly hair cuts! I try to get a photo of each new way I trim their coats. The unique! My affinity for unique color prompted me to look for my favorite color of all time which is blue merle. Chocolate is even more popular and dilute so Cappuccino will produce blue merle cava-poo puppies, and maybe chocolate if the genes are there for the dilute in the Cavalier. Cavapoos are proving to be one of the favorite crosses families are looking for. Cavaliers are super sweet and snuggly so adding a bit more brains, and eliminating shedding makes for a terrific companion! The Maltese are full of themselves and so tiny. Perfect for those who want a really small dog that has some spunk, so crossed with poodle they are very easy to train! We wont have any Maltipoo until when Angelica, Angels daughter, is old enough to have puppies. Bubba is our red AKC miniature poodle from terrific health tested bloodlines. He is very smart and just a cuddle bug. Everyone who visits loves Bubba. They are shocked to learn he is a poodle. He has changed many peoples impressions of poodles, raised with lots of socializing and children like most poodles in that situation a friendly outgoing dog, super smart, and looks like a teddy bear, or lion, or whatever strange thing I have turned him into with silly hair cuts! Also pictures of him as a tiny 13 ounce puppy. He is another dog that proves you cant go by the poodle chart to know how big a puppy will actually get, he should have stayed about 6 pounds if the chart was accurate. I like to trim him like a teddy bear, and experiment with different ways to trim his coat. Some hair cuts are so goofy looking I didn't take any photos of them, but lately I decided to add the whole range to the slide show, even Bubba still wet form a bath! I like the lion cut the most, although the big eyebrow cut is much easier to keep groomed! Bubba has been health tested. He has OFA hips, eyes, and had a DNA test which checks things, which showed he was clear for everything tested, but a carrier for one thing. Carriers can't have the problem. My ex-mother-in-law turned 90 in March .Her dog had passed away a few months earlier. She was set on a dog who did not need to have hair cuts. Kim, my daughter, now goes every week to take her shopping, and on outings. I had done my bossy thing and told her to convince her to get a non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog. She isn't able to clean house well anymore, she has allergies, even though she denies it. Plus there was talk about going into a senior residential community, which I know she would love. Shes a social person. She tried getting 2 cats who needed a home. It didnt work, rubbing on her legs the one was going to knock her down, and they were getting into her many houseplants. I dont even want to think about the litter box situation, older home and plumbing and she was convinced you can just scoop it into the commode. In the outings with Kim she kept pointing at cute little dogs. Kim kept pointing out, Granda those dogs have cute hair cuts, it doesn't grow that way. Kim wisely suggested bringing over a different dog of the varieties she could borrow from us. Then she could meet them see what they are like and maybe keep one. Kim took Bubba first. He hopped in her lap. Before you know it shes asking if he would sleep with her. She never had a dog sleep in the bed due to the fur issue. Bubba slept with us. Kim said she wasn't planning to leave him, she will bring him back and bring the next dog. Edna asked to keep him. So Bubba was her 90th birthday present from us. He is not formally retired but will be as soon as our new red male is old enough and passes his health testing. Bubba adores her. Nothing better then to have a furry best friend. We of course also care for Edna and why I suggested Bubba. I knew she needed a best friend and Bubba is such a great dog. Bubba Bubba and his black poodle son. Bubba, as a puppy. Teddy red Cavapoo, and Bubba when a little baby. Bubba 3 months old, at a dirt bike race. He didn't mind the noise at all. Hunter, super smart 2 year old boy who just loved baby Bubba! Bubba with his fro.

Breeders VS. The sad truth is that many pet store purchased pups actually come from puppy mills. Basically, there is zero authenticity with pet stores. When it comes to adopting any animal from a pet store, there is an increased risk of unforeseen health or genetic problems. You also cultivate a life-long relationship with the breeder, meaning support is available to you anytime you may need it. With My Golden Retriever Puppies , you have the option to come and visit both the puppy and the breeder in person! Golden Retrievers are an adaptable breed, meaning they are better at adapting to seasonal changes and various types of climate than certain other breeds. Goldens sport a double-coat, which ensures that these sweet pups are able to tolerate slightly colder temperatures than their friends from other breeds. Your pup deserves better than that, which is why here at My Golden Retriever Puppies , we ensure high-quality care is taken of your pet at all times. We even have all types of golden retrievers for sale! At My Golden Retriever Puppies, we pride ourselves on our golden retriever price being fair and affordable for high quality puppies. Location Information for Michigan Customers Our home office is located in Ohio, but we understand that long-distance travel can be inconvenient. If you prefer to meet a breeder in person, they may be able to offer private visits at their home. Of course! Here at My Golden Retriever Puppies , we value family and authenticity, which is why we always guarantee our pups through our 2-year genetic health guarantee. Like adopting a Golden Retriever from a pet store, there is an increased risk when adopting a pup from a rescue center or shelter as well. For example, pups purchased through a shelter or rescue center are far less likely to come with the kinds of health guarantees and reassurances that a breeder can provide. What type of Golden Retrievers are sold in Michigan? We have some good news! Ready to make your Golden Retriever dreams come true? Take a look at our convenient list of available puppies. How do I know which breeders to trust in Michigan? Our independent network of trusted breeders have already been pre-screened and verified, so that you can focus on what really matters: choosing your dream puppy. Be the first to know when we have new puppies! All Rights Reserved. This intelligent, loyal and friendly breed can fill diverse roles with ease as a family dog, therapy dog, hunting companion and guide for the blind. Good natured and beautiful, the Golden Retriever is a real crowd pleaser. Did you know? Eager to please, Goldens are easy to train and love hearing praise when they master a new skill. Goldens are also high-energy and can perform tasks like waterfowl retrieval for hours on end. Because they were bred to assist on the hunt, keep them well exercised and busy to avoid undesirable behavior. Overall, this smart, outgoing and good-natured breed makes him a trustworthy leader in a number of fields. Golden Retrievers serve important roles such as search-and-rescue dogs, guides for the blind, hunting partners and beloved family dogs. Goldens have been featured in recent TV commercials for brands like Subaru and Budweiser. Golden Retrievers are often successfully used in field trials, hunting and obedience competitions. The breed was first registered with the AKC in .Over time, Irish Setters and Bloodhounds were also added to the bloodline. The Golden Retriever was developed over 50 years and several generations. Loyal, trustworthy and eager-to-please, these dogs are typically easy to train. Goldens are part of the Sporting Group, so they are hardworking and need and love! They shed heavily one or two times a year, and moderately on a continuous basis. Brush your Golden Retriever a few times a week to keep shedding under control. Screening for elbow and hip dysplasia, eye conditions and certain heart diseases is recommended, however. Its also very useful for any time the ear might have gotten wet. You cant put too much in or too often. Without adequate exercise, Goldens are at risk of becoming overweight. You want to select a food that will help him maintain his ideal body condition long-term. Here are a few foods that we recommend for Golden Retrievers. Golden Retrievers are no exception. Because they may take more time to mature than smaller breeds, Golden Retrievers may need puppy food until 18 months to 2 years of age. Look for a puppy food formulas with DHA to nourish brain and vision development. Breeding quality Golden's to be Your Next best Friend! best food brand for labrador puppies - He's a very good dog in so many ways but, I have a problem with their neutering policy. They neutered him at six weeks. This was not optional. From all the vets that I have spoke to about this, six weeks is way too early. So, be prepared for that if you're planning to get a pup from them. Other than that they were ok to deal with. Mily Marrero Getting my next puppy from here. Karen has been really responsive throughout the entire process. Kim Geib 2 years ago We had a great experience with Karen and Mark. Testimonials: What others say about us Hello Dr. He is growing incredibly fast, the red is really starting to show and his ears are making their first attempts at coming up. Your method definitely has produced a solid, stable pup that was incredibly well socialized from day one. Having seen the kennels when I picked up Solo and seen the sweet, lovable temperament of both Parla and Kati it is no wonder the pups are so nice. Anyway, thanks again. In an age when the internet can make anyone look good, you guys are the real deal. Thanks again for putting this deal together. Our pup is such a delight. She seems to be housebroken as we have had zero accidents! Very playful pup indeed. Your service and assistance has truly been world class. With appreciation Ohio Dear Peter: As I indicated to you on the telephone I have spent a considerable amount of time researching breeders of quality German Shepherd Dogs with a hour drive. Having done so I have concluded that you offer exactly what we have been looking for. Your ethics, quality of dogs you breed, concern for the proper placement and a willingness to help educate us so that we can become the best possible owners that this puppy deserves is invaluable. Also, the fact that you do this for the love of the breed as opposed to earning a living means a lot not to mention the pricing structure. Pricing them so that they are affordable to the average family is another indicator of your character. West Virginia Dr. He has been nothing but wonderful. It has only been two days and he is already learning our routine. He is a very intelligent and beautiful pup. We could not be any more pleased. Thank you for everything. I have also finished the first phase of the obstacle course my parents have at their business, which he loves as well! I attached a picture of him on the obstacle course at my parents business. Thanks again for everything! He is such an amazing puppy! We plan on teaching him something new every week. Thanks again for this amazing addition to our lives! Texas I had to write you again. We only work with a couple of top kennel partners in Europe, one which we have worked with for years, are trusted and respected within the field and are personal friends of ours for many years. Many come back to us after 10, 15 years for their next dog. Young dogs we consider to import for a client will have the following characteristics or requirements: Started in obedience, many also in protection. Started means all the foundation is set. They know how to learn and have already learned the basics of obedience. We can provide even further training prior to ship if you so desire. We consider this a more accurate predictor of joint health than the OFA requirement of 2 years. So every young German Shepherd we import must be at least 1 year old. Also by this time most of the congenital problems have surfaced and we have a much better probability of knowing if a German Shepherd has any physiological problems by that time which lowers your risk substantially of buying a German Shepherd with issues. Our Litters Here at Von Lousar, we go the extra mile to ensure everything in our planned breedings is as perfect as can be. We put alot of emphasis on health and temperament more so than the "looks" of a dog. Temperament and health are 1 but we still believe in the full package of temperament, health and beauty. Never will we compromise a fault or health problem to have beauty! When planning a breeding, we put a lot of work into getting the right match for each female. Just because a stud dog will be right for one female, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be right for another. This is where we come in to match up the right dogs together by looking at the dogs themselves and linage. We breed to improve the breed to what it should be according to breed standard and our envision on what a perfect shepherd should be like according to the SV standard. Our litters are raised in our home. We do this to better socialize the puppies to different noises, smells and sights. We take them out to handle them daily so they get used to human interaction at a young age. They tend to be much more outgoing and don't take as long to adapt to their new surroundings when they've been exposed to a lot here at Grandma's. Here at Von Lousar, we go the extra mile to socialize and put our puppies in different situations. They are even socialized with cats and horses.Crate training slowly begins 5 weeks of age. We want you to have the experience of bringing your new puppy home a happy one! I find this the best way to place my puppies into their new homes. Temperament is 1 and if you don't have temperament it can be hard to live with a dog that doesn't match YOU. We always make sure that our puppies are suited for the home that they're going in and guide owners in picking the right litters.
